They took our washer and dryer today due to being literally two payments behind as of today. Its only $50 per week. Our payment history shows that we have never been more than two payments behind, ever. If I have to be late then I always pay both payments at once including the late fee. They will say that we didnt pick up the phone. But thats because every single time weve called to communicate that we would be late, they have never notated it in the computer system and we still get harassed every single day multiple times a day including someone coming out to our home. By the way, these calls come from the very morning of your payment date and dont stop until its paid. Even if you call and they okay your late payment. Also, they sent a repairman out for the washer once and he just sat on a stool in the laundry room and watched it cycle and then proceeded to say that it was fine and leave. Just save yourself the trouble and go see Brandon at buddys. They are so understanding and such a good company. I have paid off thousands of dollars worth of items with them all because they understand actual customer service.
After going on leave with no pay due to a complicated pregnancy, I couldn’t continue my payments and had told them my situation but was willing to return all merchandise. I continuously scheduled pick ups, however they always scheduled later times which interfered with my schedule. A day after I returned ALL MERCHANDISE Fred accused me of switching out a king size mattress for some other mattress. I explained that was the same mattress they had gave and that the fabric part that was zipped on top of the foam mattress was stained and had to be cleaned he continued saying they don’t sell the mattress that I returned as well as it not being there’s. They also continuously called my granny after I had contacted them about the furniture basically harassing her about the furniture I WAS RENTING. Delivery men came and all furniture was broken down and ready to go with nothing missing !
I love these guys... They are extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about their inventory... And the delivery drivers are very nice and hospitable ... And do an efficient job on installation ... Im very happy with them! I would recommend this store to anyone
Its okay the stuff is good to look at if you know what I mean.
Not even a whole month in and Im being over charged for two items because Rent-A-Center failed to direct withdrawal from a prepaid card that was registered in paperwork to them. Now they say that Ive been taxed with late fees which has now put my card in the negative. They said that they will fix it but Im still upset that this has happened and now my card is negative. If I hadnt checked my transactions on my card I would have never known and basically would have been getting robbed. I already cant afford to lose especially during this pandemic. I now feel cheated and worried that this was even a good deal to consider or go along with. If I can get this fixed I may consider changing my rating but as of now one star from sir.
So far the best Rent a Center I have ever done business with. I have been with them a month now. No problems and they have given me fantastic deals.
Never had any issues with them. Worked with us on the few late payments we had. Got my phone through them and its broke 3 times and they just give us a new one!! They are great!
Own the newest and finest appliances without credit by working with the staff here. Manager Nate made it easy and Taylor, Anthony and the rest of the crew are so knowledgeable and awesome. I have truly loved the dryer I bought from them and am now renting to own the most gorgeous refrigerator ever (bottom freezer - french upper doors). I set it up to auto-pay and boom in a short period of time its mine. Thank you so much Rent A Center! LOVE you guys!
Dont rent from them they are heartless people. Cant wait 3 days for a payment then want to come take what you rented away from you. Just heartless

I will never go to this RAC again. Speaking in reference to the one on Brainerd Road in Chattanooga. Went in to get a laptop. They tried to sell me a USED laptop when the manager clearly said it was new. Once i got it home. The speakers wouldnt play sound. I called them and told them the issue. Guy on the phone says did you turn it up? No genius, we left it on mute. Smh. So i bring it back to the store. Neither of the 2 geniuses could get the sound to play. They ended up having to upgrade the hard drive. Well how is that possible when its new. After an hour and still on sound i askrd for a refund. It was at that point he asked if i wanted a new laptop. But i thought this one was new. Smh. Just horrible. All of the merchandise in this particular store is old, used, and worn
