Today was my first time flying. I had an air tour around Norfolk and the Pilot was very kind. This experience was incredible!!

Great place to get current! Everyone was great and very helpful. I plan to get my instrument rating from here.

Inquired as to continuing my flight learning continuation. This place has no full time instructors. The owner is not a licensed pilot. The lady in the office needs to work in a warehouse somewhere, definitely not customer facing. Do a thorough web search on this owner and business before coming here. Wish I had prior to going, I never would have gone.

I called this flight center because I was immensely interested in starting my training for the Private Pilot License and wanted to see if they offer any packages and what their rates were.Whoever I spoke with on the phone must have been having a bad day because he refused to answer my question other than “ugh I’m not sure what you are talking about with packages but yeah we do the certification?”, clearly making me feel like I was wasting his time and not listening to what my question was.I’m a flight attendant for a major airline and I was excited and was willing to take it seriously.. but I wouldn’t choose to spend my hard work and hard earned money here. Super disappointing.

I enjoyed every minute I spent at this place. Unfortunately, life took me elsewhere but I miss flying with them. My first solo was with NFC and I had the privilege to fly with one of the best instructors a student could ask for. The staff is very friendly and cordial and some of the information I saw from other reviewers about the owner is absurd and most likely speculation which is totally unfair to NFCs great services.When I was a student there, there was always an upfront cost with no catch, in fact, they helped me save money every way they could with available options. There was never any oh by the ways or we forgot to mention. They were very clear with what their policies were and what services they offered and they never turned their backs to you.Their rates for aircraft rental and instruction were very affordable and the options of aircraft to fly gave great diversity to those willing to learn, increase proficiency or just to casually enjoy a flight.I will never forget what I learned there. When I was looking for a good flight school before them in the Virginia beach area, I found NFC to be the best fit as they were honest, loyal to the customer and cared about the business they were in.I would definitely fly with them again for sure! In fact, they would be the only flight center I would choose!

Choose a different flight center in the area. Truly terrible customer service by Heather the receptionist/testing proctor. Other folks there seemed like happier people but unfortunately Heather was the one who worked with me.

Great school! We did discovery flight and it was awesome! Rick is a very professional pilot and helped to make our flight unforgettable! Recommend 👍🏻

I received a Discovery Flight for my 50th birthday and I was a little nervous about flying. I had never been in a small airplane before but it is something that I have always wanted to do. Peter was able to answer all my questions about flying and what I would need to get my pilots license. My flight instructor was Rick who made flying really fun and enjoyable. I look forward to taking more lesions with Rick and I just wanted to write this to let people know that it is never too late to fulfill your dreams! If I can do it, so cant you.

It just as good as place as you want.

Without posting a verbose diatribe, id just say stay away from this group. I would not recommend them.

Can’t ask for a better place to fly!!
