I love Cavalier Mazda. 12 years ago I purchased a 2009 Mazda 6 from there and had a great car shopping experience. From start to finish it was excellent and unparalleled service. That service continued even with the service department for the years of auto maintenance. Last week I decided to lease the 2021 Mazda CX-5 Sport. Because of my lifestyle and schedule I had already researched the vehicle and planned for an online purchase. The experience was SUPERfast, flawless and awesome! Beau Daniels followed up with me the next morning via text/email and within a couple hours notified me I could come pick up the car! No gimmicks, no nonsense, just SUPER service! When I went I was met by him and Cameron, a new sales representative. The car was cleaned up, full of gas and ready for me to inspect, test drive and leave with! Cameron helped me learn the vehicle and assisted me with setting it up, while Beau worked to get all paperwork printed and get me out on time. SUPER tutorial on the vehicle by Cameron. Beau was friendly, genuine, humble and HONEST. I was blessed with a payment that was actually $47 LESS per month due to the vehicle being less than the online price which Beau pointed out and corrected. WOW. How often does that happen? We got EVERYTHING done and I was out the door, impressed and happy with my purchase and experience! I have received follow-ups from Beau and Cameron and even an introduction from Scott the service manager. I am so glad I chose to stay with Cavalier Mazda. Purchased a CX-5 after droving 3.5 hours to this dealership from NC but trip was totally worth it. They responded promptly to an internet inquiry I placed the day before and got on the phone with me as soon as business opened the following day. They gave me a killer dealer and when I arrived there, the car was ready and all the paperwork ready to be signed. Didnt talk down to me because I was a woman. Also didnt pull games with prices. Was so tired of dealerships saying well if you find a better deal, come back to me and Ill sweeten the deal. NO! Give me the best price the first time I ask! No surprises at all like some dealerships try to pull. They were very organized and handed me off between the sales team, insurance folks, financing like a well oiled machine so I could get out of there quickly. I appreciated the fact everyone wore masks so felt safe there. Overall, a great purchasing experience and would buy from there again!!!
This is the second time I’ve had work done on my Mazda 3. As a factory motorcycle technician myself, I go in there knowing more than I probably should when it comes to repairs and pricing. I have had a really rough go of local repair spots but this service department hasn’t let me down yet. Went in with what I thought was surely a ball joint issue front and rear. Expecting the worst, they called with some simple control arm bolts loose and a rear swing arm issue that I already knew about. They sent me out with loaner vehicle until the parts arrived later that week. Picked the car up today and all off the popping and clicks I was worried about were gone. Car handles great with no steering shake as well. Very happy. Great customer service from the service writers as well.

I visited Cavalier Mazda for the first time today. I had a safety recall on my 16 year old Mazda MPV Van and they happened to be the closest service dept. I must say that I was quite impressed with the dealership, shop facility and most importantly the team. Its a true testament to their commitment to customer service when even though I have an old Mazda I was still treated as if I were the owner of a brand new car. Also, upon leaving, the sales team asked me if I had been helped with a smile but NO pressure and a thank you for my visiting! This inspired true confidence in the dealership as well as the brand. This is a reposted review from my last one that the dealership asked me to reconsider after they fixed the brakes. Additional customer service issues have been added11/2020Again their service department needs work. I am now having issue with my side mirrors not folding all the way with a lot of play in the mirror housing that they are currently unable to replicate, which I will say fixes itself every so often so that I will just need to video tape for conclusive evidence. If it was just that, I wouldnt be as annoyed as I am. The issue is that my driver side mirror vibrates at highway speeds which causes the image to be shaky and disorienting. It happens to me everyday on the highway at 60-70mph and sometimes 55mph, but apparently neither the technician nor the manager are able to replicate it. I am annoyed because this issue disorients me every single day I drive the CX-5, but they say that compared to the other CX-5s, they see no difference. Be prepared to pull teeth and videotape the actual issues with your Mazda if you expect proper warranty service at this dealership. Invest in a wide view dash cam so you can document these issues as they come up. I know I will now since I am never believed at this dealership.11/2019The sale service is great, but the service department is a mixed bag. The first oil change I had with them, they had used the wrong filter as they did not realize my CX-5 was one of the new Turbos and they may have used the wrong oil as well according to the paperwork. The wrong filter had also been installed when I had the oil replaced after finding out about the incorrect filter and oil after the first change. On an additional note, I have had a brake squeak since a few months after I purchased the car. The dealership has apparently been unable to replicate the issue every single time. Ive had the squeak daily since and its getting frustrating since I know 100% that this squeak is not normal. Its not rust-related nor is it wear and tear since I am now just into 12000 miles on my vehicle (8 months after I started having this issue). There is even a service bulletin describing my exact issue (04-004/19). Mazdas drive great, but if I knew the warranty service and dealership after-service were going to be like this then I would have reconsidered the purchase here.
Ive been bringing my 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 here for service for years. Scott Benson and his team always take fantastic care of me and my car. Scott is the most honest and straightforward person Ive ever met at an auto dealer or any mechanic shop, and he genuinely cares about his customers. I do a lot of work on the car myself still, but for the things I cant do, I wouldnt take my car anywhere else.
We bought a new 2020 CX-5 here because they could sell it for the lowest price in the region. When we test-drove the vehicle, we did a thorough inspection: it was spotless and ran well so we purchased the vehicle and had them install a hitch and mudflaps. In the process installing the accessories, they smeared grease/oil on the interior roof-liner, just above the drivers seat. We pointed it out to them and they said their detailers werent in, but they would call us to fix the problem promptly. We never heard back from them. Every time we see the oil stain in our brand new car, we regret not purchasing the vehicle from Hall Mazda.

I drove down the DC and had a low tire pressure light on. I wanted to get it checked out before my drive home. The staff was super friendly and professional. Since there was really nothing wrong with the car they reset the alert and didnt even charge me. BONUS: They cleared an outstanding recall. All within an hour.

I recently took my car to their service department and found out I needed a new transmission. Scott in the service department and Lisa were wonderful! My husband and I decided to buy a new car instead of replacing the transmission. Chris, our salesperson, was absolutely wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and patient with us. We have a very active toddler who was pleased with their childrens waiting area and the kind people at Mazda chipped in to keep him busy as we completed the paperwork. Wendy, one of the managers, was also a pleasure to work with. She thoroughly explained everything and her sense of humor was delightful. The other two managers promptly greeted us both times we entered and we NEVER felt pressured! Best of all, they work with you to find the best deals and we never felt pressured! I went in for a oil change and a inspection and was told there was a issue with my head light and that I wouldn’t be able to pass inspection. I was recently involved in a car accident and have been having a few issues with the he repairs I had received and was very upset with this news. I decided to take the fail and bring the car back to the repair place and Josh the technician who was working on my car decided to take a look at it and found out that it was not plugged in properly and fixed it and passes my inspection. He also pointed out some other concerns that I brought up with the repair place. I would also like to put a shout out to Katlin who’s was kind enough to hear my complaints about the whole ordeal with the repair place and offer me some great advice. Amazing service as always at this Mazda location would recommend buying from this location just for the service I would give 10 stars if I could.

Our purchase of a Mazda6 at Cavalier Mazda was the most painless car buying experience that Ive ever had. From the beginning, when our salesperson drove our potentially new car to our house so I could test drive it, to the end when we were in Lindsays office writing the check, signing papers, etc. I have to say that it was Lindsay that really separated this cars transaction from all the others! Lindsay was genuinely a down to earth, easy to talk with, always smiling kind of person. We could have spent hours with Lindsay in her office just talking and laughing; she really made us feel welcome and at ease. Because of our experience with Lindsay, we will refer our friends to Cavalier Mazda if theyre looking for a new or pre-owned car!!I would have given Cavalier Mazda 5 stars if only our salesman would have taken just a few minutes to show and demonstrate all the features our new car offered. As we were leaving the lot, we had to stop as I ran in to the office to ask anyone how to adjust the steering wheel. We still know only a fraction of what this car is capable of.

The manager Lindsay is very friendly, easy to talk to, and makes sure you love the car you purchase. Mike B helped me with all of my concerns and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. I did not feel as if he was trying to push me in to a Mazda but give me exactly what I was looking for without the pressure. I would definitely get a car from here again and recommend all my friends. Rare to see such a high rating for a car dealership. I went myself today and found the typical overpriced car parts, but the service was by the far best I’ve experienced on that strip of car dealerships. Mike primarily helped me today, but all the staff were friendly and helpful.

We recently purchased a used vehicle from Cavalier. It was a very good low pressure experience, They have good vehicle pricing up front without the back and forth haggling at many dealers. Our sales person Priscilla Hughes was very helpful throughout the entire process. Even though they were very busy the entire staff worked hard to complete our purchase a quickly as possible. Pleasurable experience purchasing a car. Even though they didnt have the car I wanted, Phil and Morgan went out and found a car that met all my specifications within hours. My husband and I had a wonderful car buying experience with Ricky Griffin. He honestly is one-of-a-kind and made our experience awesome. When we arrived at Cavalier, we were only looking as I had recently been into an accident. After test driving the Mazda 3 with Ricky, I knew that it was the car I wanted. I just needed a little bit of time to register everything that had happened in the previous days. After about 2 days, we called Ricky to let him know that we were ready. He was extremely patient and understanding of the situation. I truly appreciate that he was so helpful. The Sales Manager Wendy was so great to work with as well. I am very glad that we decided to make our first Mazda purchase with them.

I took my car to get serviced here. I went to get my CMU replaced in my vehicle for my radio. Costly repair might I add. Repairs were done fairly quickly. I arrive to pick up my vehicle and the vehicle wouldnt start. I hadnt had any problems with my vehicle prior to dropping it off. I go back in to let Mike the service advisor know it wont start. He proceeds to to get someone to check the battery and all of sudden I need a new battery. He tries to feed me some BS about vehicles needing batteries in 4 or 5 years. While that may be true, not for my vehicle. So you mean to tell me you drained my battery to the point where it couldnt be recharged and I had to get a new on a 2016 Mazda 6? No something was definitely up with that BS. VERY crappy service. Unplanned expense at its finest. I will never in my life bring my vehicle back to Cavalier Mazda for service. Definitely lost a customer. Hall Mazda here I come.
Quality service here at cavalier Mazda. Very friendly staff, I went in and purchased a new miata club and the entire buying experience was painless and quick. Mike (the smaller mike) was very helpful and attentive.As soon as I got to the lot he approached me and asked if I needed anything or had any questions. He also didnt pressure me at all and let me browse at my own speed. Larry the contract guy was also very patient with me and helped show me the best possible deal, even if I didnt choose to finance with cavalier.Overall very happy with my experience and would recommend shopping there.
The best car buying experience that I have ever had!!! The staff was professional and very friendly and made me and my son feel very comfortable. My sales rep, John, was very knowledgeable about the used Honda that I came to see. I saw the car on the internet and there were no hidden costs or gimmicks to this car like I had encountered at other car dealerships. Ms. Wendy, sales manager, was extremely helpful and gave me very wise advice during my finance application process. She made sure my paperwork was correct and worked to get the payment to fit my budget. Mark, the finance manager, was extremely honest and gave me straight forward answers to all my finance questions. There was no pressure buying tactics and the whole experience was very pleasant. I drove 94 miles to this dealership and I will do so again to experience the top notch customer service that the staff at Cavalier provides. Thanks for an awesome experience and I LOVE my car!!!P.S. my 23 year old son has autism and John took the time to help him work the coffee machine and treated him with respect as well as the other staff members. I wish I could give 5 more stars just for that experience for my son. Thanks for making him feel a part of the process. He also LOVES the car.
