I stopped by and wanted information on installation for a 2001 Sierra. I was offered a good price to replace my existing stereo. The installation job was very professional. I also received quality equipment. During the installation they installed sound proofing as well backup camera. Which was not with original equipment. They had my truck back to me in several hours. I couldn’t be more happier.

I have had my cars tinted by many ppl. But this is now my go to! Kind, professional, courteous and professional work! My new car looks amazing with the tint and could not be happier! Do not go anywhere else. Reasonably priced for the high quality work 10 out of 10 for me :)

Im so disappointed with my last install projects that I Entrusted this company to complete. It was a total of 3 projects none of them were fully completed. I was told that parts were not working correctly or some not at all. So when I got my car back I contacted the manufacturer and was able to finish installing all 3 projects. I left the manufacturers business card along with a detailed list. One phone call could have allowed them to complete the jobs I hired them for. But the main reason Im leaving this negative review is for the countless damages that were done to my showcar by a blatant disregard for being careful not to force or break or scrape things. At a 150 and hour I expect a superior level of service which I didnt receive. Unfortunately I will not be using their services again. You win some and you lose some and I definitely lost out this time around.

I have a skin problem on my face that causes severe redness and stinging. my dermatologist said i was allergic to sun and heat, i avoided it but you cant when you are driving your car and sun beating in through windshield. not only did it sting but was embarassing. after 3 years i had to do something. i went to premier in churchland. i had the tint they recommended put on my car. it turned out to be the best little investment i have ever made. you dont see the tint but it is there. it works exactly as they said and i also found out that the car air conditioner cools off much faster as well. my eyes dont squint in the sun without sunglasses anymore. But the best is i can drive my car on the hottest day and full sun and i dont feel i have to drive small distances and get home fast. Nothing is as hot as sun through a car window. Sandra H.

I took my F150 FX4 in to have my stereo upgraded. Matt was awesome. He asked what I wanted and my budget. He came up with a few options and explained in detail the pros and cons of each option. I went with his advice on a setup for my truck! It’s sounds amazing! Extremely satisfied with their work and customer service!! Prices were very fair compared to other places!! Have since taken our sons car in for a new head unit and alarm (again extremely satisfied) and my wife’s Land Rover. ( That thing sound freaking AMAZING). They took extra time on her vehicle because THEY were not satisfied with the sound (not their fault), some equipment just works better together in certain applications. So they made changes to some components to make it sound perfect!!! Will definitely use them for any future projects!!

Came in about 4 o’clock on an unexpected day off hoping to get a new stereo installed in my truck. Mike was very helpful and made it happen. We were done and out the door before 5:00. Can’t recommend them highly enough and will be back for more work on other family vehicles.

I purchased an Android stereo direct from the manufacturer a month ago and had trouble finding a competent installer. I emailed some of my regional Pa. stereo installers, but none of them wanted to put the unit in my BMW e90 for a reasonable price. And they didn’t feel confident about working on the code riddled European sedan. Then I contacted Premier Autosound near my second home in Chesapeake, Va. They did a fantastic professional install of an in-dash 9” Joying Android stereo. It’s not one of the leading brands, but that didn’t deter Mike and his crew. This is a professional shop in appearance and skill. These guys answer the phones and customer emails. That’s how you run a successful business. Thanks guys. In response to the owner I meant to leave this review, I was not a customer but my nephew Spencer Thornton was. I corrected the incomplete job that your people did installing a head unit in his car. The audio unit had no sound. I without any audio training removed the audio system and reinstalled it the correct way. Now everything works.

They took ne on the spot, no appointment. Put my radio in in about 30 minutes. In and out within 1 hr. THE BEST👍. Will be back for any other audio/video installs

Went in to have my car tinted. BEFORE service I asked if they could finance the tint job. I was told YES. When I came to pick up car it was discovered that the financing for tint jobs only wasn’t possible. The so called owner would not admit to telling me incorrectly when I ASKED earlier about financing the work. He begrudgingly gave me 10% off but I had to pay in full or have tint removed. Mind you I wasn’t prepared to pay in full since I was TOLD that it would be financed. Moral of the story is the shop will avoid responsibility for mistakes and will give out misinformation and will not look to properly apologize and understand that most people do not want to pay hundreds of dollars unplanned. They do average work so future work I will take elsewhere

Had my subwoofer and amp installed here and it came out great. The store has combo options for amps and subwoofers and many speaker and stereo choices. Im going to be getting another amp and some new speakers installed here soon.

Hands down the best in the business! In my mind I wanted something a little better than factory sound, while keeping it clean and not taking up too much space. The guys recommended a particular JL Audio setup and I couldnt be any happier. You cant even tell any work was done, everything is hidden and sounds AWESOME! Great work PREMIER!

My husband & I so far had a good experience. We first dealt with Matt about getting an audio system put in our 99 F350 Super Duty Truck which we use to pull our 2013 Voltage toy hauler. We travel with it & take a couple of long trip a year & the factory radio just wont doing it anymore. We didnt want anything fancy & expensive, but wanted something that would work for us. Matt & John hooked us up. Matt worked with us on Friday dropping it off & picking out what we wanted & John waited on us picking it up on Saturday. We arent very knowledgeable on things like this & they were very helpful. we didnt feel taken advantage of. We were very comfortable with what we were offered & what we got. We were offered to drive the truck & listen to it for a few days & if we were not happy with it then by all means bring it back with any concerns. They would address them & they would do what they could to fix them. As of now we are very pleased with the product & services. They are very nice people to deal with.

They won’t allow you to wait there while working or you car . They charge by hour so they will overprice their job by working less . I went there for a car audio installation, the guy told me that it would take about 2 hours... well okay no big deal, but why do I have to drop my car for 24 hours ? Just because they don’t want me to stay there and see that the job requires less than 1 hour . Also they have parts way more expensive than the prices on internet and when I told the guy that I will buy the items on internet and come back, he got mad and gave me attitude saying “ you do whatever you want “ .

Great place to have your system installed at. Got a 2020 Tacoma with JBL system but wasnt satisfied with it. Matt hooked me up with custom sub box and an amp to go along to power the sub and all the speakers! Had the doors and back behind the seats deadened too, avg car Db now is at 65db while going 75 on hwy. overall greatly satisfied with the place and customer service too, constantly communicated with updates on the car and how long will it be till the car is done!

I cannot say enough good things about John and the team at Premier Autosound. At first, I reached out to John about getting a viper remote start system in my car. He responded very quickly and even knocked a few bucks off the quote for the install. Not even two days later I drove out of there with a new viper system installed. A couple weeks later I decided I wanted to add some modern conveniences to my car. John listened to my needs and suggested a few things and installed a state of the art touch screen radio and backup camera in my car. The only delay in installation was 1 business day because he had to order a dash kit to fit the radio. He was very flexible in scheduling and provided very professional customer service. I love my new system! It feels like I am driving a brand new car.John and the team know what they are doing, do it well and all for a fair price. Had a 2016 Camaro tinted here and they did a great job. Brought my 2018 SS up to get subs installed, price was well over what it should have been for having everything (subs, box, kit, amp, etc.) Ended up going to another shop in VA beach and still got a good install for 1/2 the price.They do a solid job in anything they do but just compare prices.

Love this place!! Other shops around the Hampton roads area seem dirty and temporary. These guys are very professional, their shop is immaculate and they do great work. They recently installed sound dampening material on an old pickup. The difference is night and day. They also installed new stereo and backup camera on the same truck. Professional install and it took less time than they had originally quoted. They will treat you fairly and with respect. Keep up the good work guys.

The radio in my dads truck has been broken for two months. The family decided to all chip in and buy a new one for his birthday. Having never had to buy a car stereo, I wasnt too sure where to go. Best Buy was my first stop. Picked out a radio in the budget but they couldnt install it-didnt have the parts for my dads truck. They sent me to Premier to buy the needed parts so they could do the work. Strange, I thought. Guy at Best Buy was nice enough to call to make sure they had the parts before I went. They did. They also had more radios in budget to choose from. Nice people to deal with. Total job with same radio was $11 less than BB. Dad was surprised when he came home from work. Thanks!

Went here a little over a month ago to look at getting a subwoofer installed in my car. I walked into the store knowing absolutely nothing about power, output, wiring, etc. but left with a much better understanding. The manager as well as the gentleman who installed the system were super helpful and willing to explain everything to me. I’ll admit I was temporarily a little knocked back with how much the whole install was going to cost me, but it’s so worth it. My amp is paired perfectly with my sub which makes it sound amazing and the wiring is concealed in the trim beautifully. I’ve now done some research on installing auto speakers and think I might try it myself next time, but if you want a quality job done, I recommend going here for your first experience.

Great place, weve used them a few times over the years. Theyve installed an overhead DVD player and window tint for us in the past. Most recently they had to completely re-wire our truck to install a new radio. Top notch customer service. You know itll get done right.

I went to Premier Autosound after another auto shop let me down. My car alarm was malfunctioning and I wanted it removed. Premier removed my old system for half the price of their competitor and gave me a great price on a new keyless entry system. Purchased a new 2020 Tahoe with a very sad, murky / muffled factory Bose system. Premier Autosound completely overhauled the system with new speakers, crossovers, underconsole sub, new controller brain, and now it sounds great ! Tons of bass, very clear treble and midrange.... Superb job, and one of the best parts is the seamless / stealth installation - in that you dont see anything and it works flawlessly with the factory screen / navigation system! If you are an audiophile with at least a moderate amount of experience and knowledge, Premier Auto Sound is the way to go and Josh S. is the guy you need to see. Dont get me wrong, any customer, from novice to expert, in the market for car audio upgrades will have their needs met here. Moreover, based on what I saw while there, they also have great service for marine audio, mobile media, window tinting and more. That said, I was here for car audio.The store did a great job in general, but, as a slightly experienced car audio enthusiast (11 years of researching, buying, tinkering and even a bit of installing and listening extremely closely), Josh is the guy that guys like me need to see. He knows his stuff, takes the time and has the patience to listen, clarify and explain, and is obsessed with sound enough that he too wants and will get it to sound the best it can. If something goes wrong or comes up he makes it right. He even tuned the car and processor to reference then worked with me directly to dial it in to my personal taste. He was also honest with me regarding a part that I brought in on my own that malfunctioned and I was able to have it refunded by the third party.The second to last bottom line for me is this: Im a skeptical, pro-diagnosed OCD, self-diagnosed audiophile who is unfortunate to have only a fraction of the know-how and knowledge base in the field that I would like that the pros like Josh have, Im paranoid about getting ripped off or sold out and despite all that - they nailed it. WOW - Let alone the way the end result sounds all dialed in right.The bottom now... Bye! Im going for a long drive to nowhere just to get in the car. :-)

I did a troubleshoot with my sound system. Took my car on the Wednesday before July 4th, had to have it by Saturday morning, and these guys were packed and still got it done on Friday! Very professional! People I can trust with my truck and sound system! Also will not rip you off and give you a call if they have to increase the price!

John and Josh are experts. Very friendly and do a great job helping customers and installing gear. A little on the pricey side but you definitely get what you pay for. Will recommend and be back myself for future installs.

I am an over-60 consumer and have high expectations. Bottom line up front; you cannot do better than the pros from Premier Autosound! I have had the windows in two car tinted and the installation was flawless and expertly executed. I have also have two tuners installed in two other cars and the work was just as impressive. Before I came here I read the reviews of many companies and was really impressed by the fact that the owner (Premier Autosound) answered every review, positive or negative. Their customer service was on par. He is definitely right in saying, if you want the job done right, this is where you should be.

Matt and Mike are amazing! They fixed my electronics issue immediately and were so patient with me and my stress/anxiety over the electrical issue I had with my equipment. They were efficient and sooo AWESOME!

Great experience getting a top of the line audio system installed in my truck. The staff listened to what I was after, did not try to upsell me on every little thing, and installed the entire thing same day which I was not expecting. Completely trustworthy group, Ive used them twice now, and dont see any reason to go anywhere else.

Had an alarm system installed. Decent work but overshot install time by two hours. Was told it would be ready in about 4 hrs, but took 6 hrs! Then, I got home and the remote wouldnt hold a charge, so I had to drive back to Chesapeake to swap it out the next day.EDIT: I understand the explaination; however, that was never relayed to me during my install. No phone calls, no update when I arrived, just waiting. As for the remote, I was told it had been charging since the beginning of the install and it was not functioning when I was walked through the system, yet nothing was done. I do appreciate a job done right. But for the time and money Im spending, I do expect a little better communication than what I got.

1 year later update - Tints still holding up perfectly! No bubbles or issues.Had a great experience here getting my windows tinted. I was a walk-in for 2 windows and was out of there in under 40 minutes. Staff was very friendly and the store/shop looked very clean and organized.

Stopped by to have an aftermarket radio installed in my 2006 Tacoma. Service was quick and professional. After the install, time was taken to go over the new radio and ensure that I knew how it worked. I cant recommend this place enough. If you are in the market for a new radio or system, this is the only place to go.

First off let me say if you could rate it 10 stars I would.I went to Premier on a Tuesday to look at car stereos for my 4Runner. I wanted the Pioneer 8200NEX stereo. It was out of stock but Mike the owner said he could order it and would be there in two days. I also asked if he could put in the iDatalink- Maestro wiring harness and he said not a problem. Items were ordered and we set up Friday morning to do the install. I dropped my truck off Thursday night because I couldnt make it Friday morning. My truck was put inside over night. (Thanks).I got a text Friday about mid- afternoon saying my truck was ready..(now comes the best part). I show up to pick up my truck and Mike(the owner) comes outside and goes over the whole stereo with me and also paired my phone up to the stereo. The stereo looks like it came from the factory, it looks so good. Their work is the best. My advice is dont try the rest come to the best (Premier Autosound). You wont be disappointed.

Was a long time customer of premier..20+ years they have worked on all my vehicles and did great work..but my last encounter will be my last here.had work scheduled with one guy who told me to call and confirm on thursday when i did told by someone different there was no way it could be done...i explained that i was told by the other guy that he had all the parts and he could make it happen ..i was told again it couldnt be done very rudley ...it was for 3 grand or so worth of work...apparently they dont want my money anymore..which is fine..merry christmas...*update* it was not scheduling or parts availability..the guy right there in front of me went and checked and said he had everything needed...and he would make sure it got done the following saturday...sounds like the employees want to make money more than management ...also the attitude i recieved from.then person who obviously wrote the response sucks

Far too expensive. Radio was $699, installation $250. BUT, the total installation came to $1,600!! I had no problem paying the $250 for installation.They ridiculously overcharge for adapter kits. $699 + $250 = $949. How in the world did the price get all the way to $1,600??? Ridiculous. I wanted to support a local small business, but with that practice, I cant and went elsewhere and bought the same radio and had it installed professionally, with a lifetime guarantee, for less than $1k total.

After a bit of phone calls back & forth, I took my Nissan Altima there for window tinting. Ive had other cars tinted by other shops over the years, so Im somewhat familiar with what to expect. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and how fast it got done. I went for the ceramic tint this time and am so glad I did. It really does keep heat down a lot. Only downside is they are closed on Sunday (my only true day off).

Premiere installed a new pioneer stereo with backup camera & new 4 speakers at a very low price. First class installation & awesome people too deal with! It is rare to find A+++ service today.

I have been a returning customer to Premier Autosound since purchasing my first system. When you walk in the door and to the counter, I have always been greeted with a smile and a friendly how can I help you? I not only purchase radio systems, but have with their assistance selling a system when I traded in my last car. They removed my old system, priced the subwoofer, two amps and sold them for me. What better customer service can you ask for? Any waiting time I have experienced was while they were finishing another customer. The max wait for myself was less then a half hour. They have a very nice showroom, displaying just about anything you would want in the way of audio and dress up items for your ride. I am taking my new ride in to have an alarm system install soon and would never utilize anyone but Premier Autosound.

Had an appointment at audio one to get some work done for free by the dealership I bought my car from. Audio One has a horrible reputation and I did not trust them to work on my car...even for free...since the last time they did the power wire was ran thru the firewall and into the wheel well and then back into the engine bay. This review has been 18 years in the making, and my only 1 star review. Yes this place has everything you need ...except customer service. These guys act like they are gods gift to the world and we should bow to ask questions before them at their counter. Sorry I dont care to know every one of my audio components by name. Rather than talking down on someone and correcting them rudely...build them up offer help and heaven forbid maybe throw in a smile. Also dont forget EVERYTHING you guys do up their can be found on youtube. Also fixed my own crossover for 24 dollars off ebay, thanks for being so rude you saved me a ton of money and made me learn a new skill. Yall hit me up if you need any lessons on how to work with customers.

These workers have done a great job on both of my vehicles. Ive had a new Navigation radio put in, HID lights, Aux Input and tint put on my vehicle with no trouble. They dont take a long time to do the work in the back.

Customer for life! I have always been impressed with their high-end equipment and professionalism, but they recently took customer service to a new level. About a year ago they installed an aftermarket Alpine backup camera system in my 2015 Challenger. Worked great for about a year, and then three times over about 6 months, one of my three dashboard modules would stop working until it was manually pulled out of the dash and reset. After the 3rd time (and after having replaced the Mopar module once), the Dodge dealer says they traced it to a partial ground on the camera interface, and that I had to get that replaced. Swell. So, I go back to Premier Autosound, explain the issue, and despite it being beyond the warranty, they replaced the interface for free with a new, updated system. No labor charge even. Customer service like that is RARE these days, thus earning my business permanently and anybody else I can convince.

We will not take anything back here. They told my husband they could put the lights on the rocker we bought, went to get truck and they had drilled a hole in the rear of the rocker on both side and pulled light back off and said they didn’t work and left the double sided take on the truck, my husband tested the light Before he took them and premier even tested them when we dropped it off and they worked. And they even charged us 200 and some dollars. To drill 2holes in our truck.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

After spending a weekend listening to Bassnectar and Alison Wonderland I decided to upgrade my sound system. I stopped by the store Friday afternoon where John quickly greeted me and had a conversation about what I was looking for. He had some display equipment out and after hearing what kind if music I like, explained what each subwoofer had to offer. I left that afternoon but returned Saturday morning after emailing him about installation. Not only was the install clean and well placed but John took the time to test out the subwoofer in the car with me. I got them to install a new sound system in my boat a few years back and was happy with their work. They came out to the house, gave me some suggestions on equipment and did the work a few days later. Now, it came time for my truck to get a bit of an upgrade. I got tired of the Garmin stuck to my windshield so I wanted a more permanent solution. Stopped by the shop and picked out a new Alpine with some speakers. They did the install the next day and all is well. They seem to know what they are doing, so I’ll keep coming back.
