I would rate Zales a -5 if I could. POOR QUALITY AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The worst in the jewelry industry in my opinion. I have the lifetime warranty on my bridal set and I’ve needed repairs not once but twice for the diamonds falling out of the band. The first time they said it was due to the soldering of the bands. This time the sales associate told me I would be responsible for the lost diamond. She was extremely rude and condescending. I have rings from Kay’s and have never had an issue!!! Will NEVER buy from them again!!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

A week before Valentines, and Customer Service was nonexistent. Visited store to purchase diamonds. Slowly walked the entire store and noone greeted or even spoke to me. One sales person was with a customer. Lady who appeared to be manager stayed busy with files standing behind desk. She never even looked at me. It was obvious that busy work was more important than sales.I spent over a grand at the next store.Note the classic stack of 5 star reviews, after every bad review....

We came in to buy earrings and she was very helpful and pleasant to work with I will come and buy from her again.

We bought new wedding bands for our 36 wedding anniversary just before COVID 19 hit. The store manager reached out to me just one time in in April to say our new rings were safe. Since then its been a total info blackout. The website has stated that the store is open for curbside pickup yet the store phone is never picked up. I cant even leave a message. This level of customer service is totally unacceptable. I will never purchase another item from Zales.

I read a lot of reviews about poor customer service, which made me a bit hesitant. But my husband and I went to get wedding bands. We didnt want anything crazy, just simple and traditional bands. We were greeted by a very nice lady when we walked in, and she was able to help us with exactly what we wanted. The only disappointment for me was that the mall advertised military discounts but this store doesnt honor it.

Very rude. No customer service etiquette at all. I had a special made ring shipped to store. It had a big flaw in it that the two workers there refused to acknowledge. Even a customer blatantly saw it. I feel they did not have my best interest in mind and just wanted to make quick sales. After the workers rudely argued with me they finally returned it. Shoved papers at me and didnt say anything else. Zales has definitely fell off of their brand name. Ill be going somewhere else more respectful with better quality.

Waiting for a ring inspection... We have been here over an hour. One person doing inspections 2 people sitting around doing nothing... Not even helping customers pick up!

Joshua was the employee that helped me while I was there, there was another female there that cleaned and inspected all my jewelry but I didn’t catch her name. I came in with 5 different types of jewelry: wedding and engagement ring, earrings, necklace and a bracelet. I came in with all my inspection paperwork but didn’t bring my JPP numbers so we had some trouble in the beginning. Joshua was so helpful, we were able to get my husband to send us the numbers so we could send a couple of my jewelry out. It didn’t take long at all, and he assisted me throughout the whole process. He was also very organized, he had a method and each of us got all the receipts we needed, and also gave me advice on writing the JPP numbers on the inspection sheets for next time. With all the paperwork, things could get messy but he had it all down to a science which was so helpful for me and for him. I didn’t even wait long for him to send me the repair emails with pictures. The female employee was just as helpful. She cleaned all my jewelry and gave everything back shiny and clean, and even put my necklace in a small bag so I wouldn’t tangle it again, then went to help another customer. They both were so friendly, sometimes around the holidays you run into some stressful people. There wasn’t any other customers in Zales when I first walked in but at least 5 more walked in after. The lady was super helpful and answered everyone’s questioned then went to assist a couple more. Definitely was a welcoming environment, it was one of those visits that had you smiling and inspired when you walk out. I know these things may be small, but it’s these actions that make the world different. I couldn’t thank or appreciate either of these employees enough.

This is an excellent location to purchase any type of jewelery except high end watches like Rolex. This store seems to have a nice selection for any occasion. I recently purchased a bracelet for my wife which she absolutley loved. The employees are knowlegable and helpful. I made a selection and paid for it in less than 20 minutes. Best of all no pressure from the salesperson. I like that.

My first impressions of this store were not good at all. I came to have my rings cleaned. The employees were not friendly nor welcoming. I would not return to this store for any reason. No wonder the store is always empty when we pass by.

I have been coming to this store for the last 7 years. The employees are very rude and act as if you are bothering them. I guess I will have to drive to MacArthur store instead.

My fiancé purchased my bridal set and his wedding band 8/2 and both had to be sized. They took forever to resize my ring and soldered them together which they were not supposed to do. They only offered $200 offour next purchase which is unacceptable. Why would I purchase again and you couldnt even get a simple resizing right? His ring was done pretty quickly but here it is 8/30 and I still have no ring and had to cancel the engagement party.

Ive been in a few times - a repair then cleaning & inspection and I always leave annoyed!! They wouldnt work with me on my repair at all then the woman today didnt inspect my ring, just poked it with her nail & I could have cleaned my ring better at home. Horrible customer service, not very nice, they only care about new sales... Ill be making the trip to Lynnhaven from now on.

My husband purchased me a new bridal set for our anniversary. Since Ive taken it to be resized, the service has been horrible. They were rude when I dropped it off to have it sized and made it seem as if I was inconveniencing them. I then called once to see if they matched the online price (I found the same ring for almost 900 cheaper online) and the lady was very rude and said no if I want the online price i needed to buy it online. I then called one other time because the website had said for 3 days it was ready to be picked up. The lady was very rude and huffy when I had to repeat my last name 3 times. Then told me I still had another week before the promise return date. God forbid they finish a sizing early! (3 weeks to size a ring is a bit absurd anyway).I will NEVER buy from them again.
