I didn’t expect much from this Big Lots location, but I was pleasantly surprised. The store was relatively clean and organized with a good selection of items. The cashier was friendly and fast. This is one of the best Big Lots I have visited in the area. If you’re looking for a discount store, especially for furniture, don’t miss this Big Lots hidden off Military Highway.

Pray you dont need help or assistance because I swear they only ever have 2 people working at all times in this joint. But they are nice, friendly employees for the most part. Products are hit and miss. Might have it this week but not for the next 3 weeks. Has lots of random things you may not think they carry and the prices arent that bad either.

Greeted as soon as we walked in. People on the floor (although only 1) greeted us and offered assistance. Was a slow day for them, offering 20% off which we took full advantage of. The store was neat and clean. Since they renovated the store they have really taken pride in the store. Love coming here for odds and ends in the food Dept (you never know what you may find) .

They had a decent selection of furniture. They didnt have what I was looking for, but they did have items that gave me ideas for other areas of my home. I will be going back again soon!

Big Lots is awesome no matter what, but what some might not know is Big Lots had great deals on name brand products such as Adkins drinks, Campbells soups, Tide, and small electronics. Its like a mini-costco or sams club.

They didnt have too much stuff. Alot of Shelves were practically empty.

Of all the Big Lots stores in the Hampton Roads area, this one is my favorite. Its spacious, amazing sales abound and a huge array of furniture on display to pick from. Not to mention all sorts of patio and yard items, plus a plethora of spices and interesting condiments to peruse.The employees are helpful and efficient, eager to help you find whatever you are shopping for. Definitely not a high-end store; however, a great store if you are a bargain hunter.

I always find Interesting things there. Have a card for the store if i want to charge something so i can pay on time for big items. When i lived in New Hampshire we had one up there that was handy for things.

What a Great Place! Went in the night before my delivery, to let someone know I was there and where could I park! Met the young female manager and got information from her I needed! The woman who posted that this store is closed should take down her post. This store is open, I go there sometimes and took pictures of people going in, lights on. There werent any moving, or closed signs. Perhaps she meant another store?

Its sad that people are so rude... This old lady in the line being nasty and rude to the cashier. You dont go in any store nowadays if your patience is short. If you cant wait your turn in line maybe you need to find times when they are not too busy then go shopping. Plus you out a 9pm at night go when the store opens. From the appearance she looked very much in retirement years so she can shop at 8sm when the store opens. Older people need to be respectful too.

Very helpful staff, especially furniture/mattresses. They brought the merchandise from the back out to the truck and help load it. Easy to see from the road, plenty of free parking. Right off of the Interstate. Next to a Dollar Tree, Home Emporium, and Kmart!

I found the most everything I was looking for. I was looking for paper products, health and beauty products and a few food items.As a side note the place was very clean.

I will say that you can find some good deals at big lots but a lot of time the deals are limited for especially large purchase items.I have been to big lots many times but I have to tell you that I usually come out empty handed.The REASON I COME OUT EMPTY HANDED IS THAT I SEE A PRODUCT I WANT BUT THE PRODUCT IS STILL CHEAPER AT THE NEAR BY STORE AND THE OTHER PLACES HAVE THE SAME ITEM BUT CHEAPER IN PRICE AND BETTERQUALITY. THREE STARS. PS IF SHOPPING AT THIS BIG LOT MAKE SURE THAT YOU CHECK THE SURROUNDING STORES ALSOBECAUSE THERE ARE MANY WITHIN A HALF A MILE OF THIS BIG LOTS. MATTER OF FACT THERE IS ONE RIGHT NEXTDOOR.

Great little store. Great selection, prices arent bad. Managers got upset because I deserved their conversation to ask a question, but they were going would asking if everythings alright with everyone.

Went to get curtains, and they had them. The employees were eager to help us locate the curtains. They took us right to where we need to be. Good prices, nice employees.

Recently remodeled store. Very clean and well stocked. Some stuff is a pretty good deal but others not so much. I like to go when they have their 20 percent off everything sales.

What can you really say about a Big Lots? Great prices on most things and this one has plenty of merchandise. Store is pretty clean and it doesnt take long to get checked out. Staff isnt the cheeriest but they do their jobs.

Theyve remodeled this store since I was here last. All I can say is WOW!!!! The furniture section is spectacular, the whole layout of the store is much, much better. The product selection is great and very nicely displayed.

I had a good experience at Big Lots. I do have one suggestion, the cashier should at least speak to the customer before demanding your phone number and the say thank you.

I was surprised by the amount of various items they had. Beds, carpets, dining and livingroom sets. As well as the usual items.

Not quite the selection there use to be, and not really low enough prices anymore for the brands. The food prices are usually still really good, but you have to check the dates. A lot of expired things

Nice place large discount store included food goods too. The only thing is dont leave your car open someone was going through the vehicle or trying to steal the SUV. Good thing someone said some thing to the cashier she made an anounment the owner happen to be checking out in another register, he when running to his vehicle the guy took off. So lock them up!

Tho they didnt have the items I went for the store is still well stocked well kept n competitive pricing.
