Always no matter the time has long lines. I think they can do better at staffing people at crucial times. It’s also possible to have someone on back up in the event it gets busy at non crucial hours.

Look at your receipts after buying. They are overcharging on sales tax. I noticed the food items being taxed (which isnt legal in California) and its possible they are taxing for bags. Ive noticed this twice now. I brought it to a clerks attention but I really didnt want to argue, especially since its not her who put their cashier system together. I think the tax rate they are charging is also too high. Its a private business so they can add whatever fee they want but they cant call it sales tax.

Still the best place for value. I have it 4 stars only because they could of had more open cash registers, but thats ok with me but some people were getting irritated.

As usual, long lines to check out. At first only 1 clerk, people were too close together & almost to the back of the store. Then after 2nd clerk, lines were long (I was 9th) & people were too close together in 2 places. They need a better way to check people out. A positive: clerk was competent and friendly.

It literally brightens my day to come here and see Terry. She’s so friendly and has ridiculously good customer service. Clean, well stocked store.

Yes, everything is under 1$. Some of the stuff worth going for is decoration items, candles, gift bags and random shopping which is otherwise costly.

You can always get what you expect from a dollar store. It has a variety of productsIts just very tough because so many people come in and the lines are fairly long sometimes. Plan ahead that you will take a bit longer than expected

I bought lot of items including greeting card and cover. I inserted greeting card inside the cover without knowing that it might be annoying while billing. I even apologized for putting the card inside that cover(which I m buying) to the old lady in the billing counter but she didnt hear and ignored me. I dont like the attitude they show as if they are paying from their pocket. I hardly go there and I havent been there after this covid19 but this is my first worst experience. They have the pride as if they are the only ones who belong to this country but most of them are deported from another country.

As the name suggests, the place is great to buy stuff for cheap that is for a dollar. You can get all your party supplies and snacks for a buck.Its usually crowded during evening time and you might have to stand in a small queue to get your stuff billed.Only thing that you need to take care is not to wander around and take the stuff you need and leave, as you will definitely end up buying more than required.The staff is helpful and humble. They are usually never out of stock with their stuff and keep adding new supplies every now and then.

These people always charge extra. It has happened to me today again that if I buy one thing, I charge twice and if I want to buy two same things, then they charged for 3 or 4 things😒😒

When I was about to set my items on checkout 3 she turned off the light and closed, but a minute later after I was in line 1 the cashier from line 3 opened again and took the people behind me. Rude.

The second best pocket-friendly retail chain. As you can see, everything is just a dollar and seven cents. The have pizza and frozen fries too. I have seen big bottle of shampoo and conditioners of well-known brands. The best thing would be to make a habit of going here, at least for non-consumable items.

This is one of the bigger Dollar stores so they had a lot more selections & was well stocked. They even have a freezer food section @ this location. However, it was really busy & all the lines to the register were very long.Overall, it was a good experience.

Store unexpectedly changed their hours (closing at 9pm rather than 10pm -- their website still says 10pm). I arrived at 9:05 and needed less than 5 minutes just to check on a specific item. I told the manager this, but she flat out refused to give me 5 minutes (there were still other customers in the store at the time).The store is okay but the service leaves something to be desired.

Good selection of products, we can expect much on the quality for the price we are paying. Staffs may look little exhausted as they need to serve many customers.

It is holiday season and yet only 2 billing counters are open. They shud DEFINITELY have a separate queue for 5 items or less. It takes ages just to bill 2 items. Social distancing and crowd control is non existent. There is range of variety of products so u will mostly find what u r looking for.

Went for Christmas home decor shopping. Found mostly what I wanted. As usual the floor was dirty, I don’t blame the staff, it’s mostly the customers.

The best place to buy cheap use and throw items. The store is of normal size but has a lot of items which can be bought for 1 dollars each. Also the staff are very helpful. Only problem which I faced was that to use the trolley I had to use a 50 cent coin. But I had none on me so I had to use baskets to carry the items which I needed to purchase which was a bit inconvenient.

Great place to buy specific items that you can get at a discount like plastic sandwich bags and boxed tissue. They have a great selection of greeting cards. Some are 2 for a dollar and some are a dollar. Employees are always friendly. Especially Terri. She is always so kind and in a good mood. She has great energy and genuinely gives good customer service.

During the pandemic I discovered this store. I was looking for groceries and found some good things to stock up on for a steal like Healthy Choice Chicken and Rice soup, wild salmon, asparagus, corn beef hash, water. I also bought many useful items like greeting cards, T shirts, picture frames, tape, bandaids, batteries, floss, nail polish remover, ziplock bags and garbage bags and parchment paper, toilet paper, satin pillow cases, mattress covers, kitchenware, etc. Since I lost my job with the COVID-19 lockdown, I had to stretch a dollar and had fun shopping for great deals at this store quite often!

I always find bargains at Dollar Tree. On shopping day I always go there first. They dont have everything I need but the things they do have are a good value. My two issues are 1. Never enough checkers so there is always a long line and 2. I hate the security brakes on the shopping carts. The store is clean and well stocked.

Most items that I buy on a weekly basis are in stock, and are priced reasonably. Lines are a little long, but this allows me to take care of some online tasks while waiting. The customer service, is sub-par at best,the cashier that works on Saturdays Terri is like the DollarTree Sudo Gate-keeper :) She got mad at me for taking a cart one day, when the store did not have any carts because it had two empty boxes in it. The biggest issues is the bathroom. Graffiti is spray painted all over the walls, and fecal matter is on the floor. Management need to get their house in order.

I live in an assisted living facility. I just did my Christmas shopping for some of my fellow residents for very little money.

This store and the one in Santa Clara are both disgusting. The store that I really really like is in Campbell. People who shops there are disciplined. Items are organized and not all over the place. The kind of store I like. I would give 5 stars to that store.

Its the Dollar Tree. Its almost the same in every city when it comes to layout and cleanliness. The thing that stands out here is the customer service. Always a friendly welcome and they actually help me look for items.

Its good, just like the other dollar stores around ... The edge this one has is that it has ample parking and its spacious inside . The last who helped me for checkout was courteous ... Its easily visible from the street outside so I didnt have an issue looking for it .

Good place to get quick handy things. Dont keep expectations on service side. But good place to go for cheap and quick grabs.

As for as dollar stores go, this ones the bomb! Always has everything I need and didnt know I needed. Everything I get is put to use right away. Im usually there for travel items, personal care, Kitchen and storage containers. And I got almost all my stocking stuffers for Christmas here!

Staff are helpful if you like some assistance. Good selection of house maintanence products and seasonal/holiday items. Some interesting and unusual food items. Carts have lock wheels, ask for it to be unlocked if you need to take the cart to your car.

The cashier was awesome. The store a little congested and ho hum. Been in better ones.

I couldnt take a picture but there is only one check stand open its 2.34 and the goes beyond the tooth brush isle. Its horrible I would leave but I got a few items. I been in line from 15 to 20 min.

Cant beat price of dollar tree in most cases. There are few things to watch out for. They let queue go longer before opening another cashier.

Big store with quite a bit of selection. I specifically went to their gift bag section and liked their options. I did not like that they only had two cashiers with huge lines at each. Not really effective since I went after work...as most people do.

Love the Dollar Tree, went in for decorations to make an obnoxious birthday chair for my boss...streamers, wrapping paper, pom poms, giant hat, tape and scissors. 8 bucks for a glorious win!

Its a 1 star for now because the hours are 9am-10pm on Saturday and I came to the door and 9pm and was told it was closed. Why advertise you are open late if its not true.

HORRIBLE customer service! Just returned 2 h alloween owls that didnt light up once I displayed them and the cashier said she couldnt exchange without the tag.even THE MANAGER on duty said wheres the tag! HELLO dumbasses...i dont leave things I put up for decorations with the damn tag. This is the worst dollar tree ever. Drive a few miles and visit the San Jose stores.

Store was crowded and packing boxs and cart used by personal were blocking isles. Things they had for years no longer can be found. Another person made a comment that you cant find things where they should be with same items. Things everywhere.
