Friendly and reasonable prices. Large inventory. Cute face masks for $5.99 all designer. I purchased 5 of them and good quality. Large supply of hair and even carried women clothing but I didnt purchase any clothing.

If I could give 0stars I would. This store charged my client $85 for a 12” Dream weaver pack of hair!!!! This hair only costs $25.99 max!!!!! They charged my client more money because they knew they didn’t know what they were doing, my client pick one hair hanging up then the tall guy with the glass goes under the counter and picks the pack of hair and puts that in the bag. I am 100% sure he pocketed the rest of the money my client will be disputing the charge. TERRIBLE

They close so early like the close whenever they want and never have enough time to get up there in time cause they always closing it so fast

Nothing is really in the store that you would want as far as hair and hair products.Its a very limited supply of products that no one really purchase.

It wasnt a fascinating experience but it wasnt terrible. There was a young lady who use to sell the hair and install it but not anymore.

If you purchase an item and you did not open it it still remain in the bag not use with price tag theres still possible way that you can get a refund or exchange so if you pick up the incorrect item or you getting a gift for someone and its not their size or not their color theres no possible way to do anything about it unfortunately I will no longer be shopping at the store I rather shop online because at least I can do an exchange instead of losing out completely

The store is clean and very well organized. The staff is friendly, nice and pleasant. The store has a lot of name brand products but not a big selection of the products.

Im changing my review. I went there today and there was the black lady behind the counter. She literally followed me around the store and was in my way the whole entire time. Im quite sure that the lady told her to watch me because maybe they thought I was going to steal. It was very uncomfortable. I asked her several times is there something I can help her with or was I in her way because she literally just stood there. Its really sad that someone of the same skin tone as me would do that and profile me. I understand you may need your job but you made yourself look really bad and then had the nerve to say God bless you as I was leaving the place. I was told today that theyre going out of business and now I understand why.

I went into this location last week which is a rarity unless I’m in the area. I was shocked to see that they hadn’t restocked a lot of things. I’m not sure how long the store has been like that. I needed lash glue. There were NO lashes or glue on the displays in the middle of the floor. I’d turned to ask this lady (who was in her phone and I had to say “excuse me” TWICE while right in front of her) about the lash glue...she pointed to the left to another girl who in turn told me that they’ve run out 😐

Prices are a bit high. You can to other beauty supply shops that are a little cheaper in Chicago, Ill or just go to Family Dollar or Walmart.

Its very nice, clean, and organized. They are stocked on just about everything THAT I KNOW OF. Very good on prices. They have just about everything. They greet you soon as you come in and are a big help with questions. No complaints.

I will NEVER walk through those doors again... I dont care what I need, Ill go without! The employees here were Black (first time Ive seen that in a beauty supply outside of the city 😒) but as I walked up to the counter, there was a non-Black woman behind the counter (I wont speculate on her ethnicity, but she was brown for lack of a better descriptor) and she was on her phone. She didnt acknowledge me so I said excuse me, and someone else came from the aisles to assist me. I then found out that the brown woman doesnt really work there... shes just there TO WATCH THE BLACK EMPLOYEES.I was DONE. I asked the young lady to please hand my money back. I REFUSE to give a place like this my money. I just kept thinking about those Asian beauty supply owners (Missha beauty supply) choking & beating up that Black girl because they thought she stole something (WHICH SHE DID NOT! And even if she had, that was still unacceptable!). Sadly theres more than one instance of Asian beauty supply owners ASSAULTING Black customers, you can Google: beauty supply beats black woman.Its sick and I wish they didnt have a LOCK on the industry. WE NEED BLACK-OWNED BEAUTY SUPPLY STORES!!!!!!!And on a unimportant side note: they have all these little handwritten signs all over the store about what they dont take back- fine. BUT there was no sign in the area of hair wraps which is what I was going to purchase, I just happened to ask and was TOLD it was not returnable (had I not asked and tried to return it, there would have been fireworks because I would have made sure I got my money back!)

Very rude staff. The store marked the wrong price on some hair . The whole line of hair was priced low so I decided to get one. Took it to the register and they still tried to price me full price.. not my fault you and staff marked the WHOLE line of hair wrong. For all the know it could have been marked down for promotion or sale. Very rude manager and didn’t want to honor price marked on item. I’m tell everyone I know to give bad reviews with one star. To make it so bad the store is so limited on supplies they should be happy anyone wants to purchase there. I’m going where I usually go .. on halstead 183rd in Homewood where they have everything you want and I’m goo. Tell people in this area to go there instead of this low budget empty store where there is NOTHING Hollywood about it.

Its a Friday and their supposed to be open from 9 to 8 and its 9:30 and no ones is even there. Change the times of your business if your not going to be open at the times your claiming online and posted on the front of your store. Just lost a loyal customer. Go to the beauty supply on joe orr instead. They have more in their store AND they are open when they say they are!

Terrible. Went there to buy hair because my beautician ran out of her 6A grade hair....gentlemen was very nice...however the hair was terrible..:bought the same grade there and it sheds like crazy. It looks good but after it gets in your head....youll be ready to pull it out. My bathroom is covered with hair everyday! Im sweeping it up and getting it out of the sink. From my experience of wearing weave for over 2 years with this grade of hair it has always been beautiful...I received daily compliments and it looks full and natural....however this same grade sold at this shop is not good! I dont usually write reviews but I went back and he nicely gave me another bundle and I think it was even worse than the first!

Manager, owner or whatever the lady was that must have been in charge was kinda rude....i asked the price of an item and a young lady that works there told me a price but when I got to the counter the guy asked the manager lady how much and she announced a different price. I asked her why did she not say anything when the other young lady gave me the price!!! She was standing right there and you heard her say the wrong price!!! Why not correct her???? Instead of answering me the manager lady just walked off saying Well I just told you the price..... I seriously doubt that I will shop there again!! I gave it two stars simply because the other young lady was at least trying at being helpful and friendly but that manager ladys attitude is just too much to deal with

My mom had a very hard time trying to make a simple return that was unused and still in the same packaging. There is no indication about no refunds anywhere, not on the receipt, not on the item, not at the register. The employee was so combative with my mom and she will not return. If you look at the reviews, youll other people complaining about the same thing. This place gets an F in customer service.

Rude, ignorant staff specifically the manager. I was offered a store credit for some merchandise I returned. The manager added the total amount of the credit on her cell phone, then wrote the total on the back of my original purchase receipt. I was never given any other receipt for my return. I was told to use my receipt to redeem my store credit. I was not refunded any tax in addition to the returned merchandises total. I asked why and I was told they dont refund tax, only the merchandise. I returned to redeem my store credit at a later date, and the same manager charged me for my purchase plus tax. I questioned why I was being charged a second time for taxes, when I refused a refund of the original tax I paid. The lady was disrespectful and rude to me everytime, I asked for some explaination of what she was doing. She also refused to return my receipt to me, and she refused to give me any receipt for my new purchase. I continued to demand my receipt back and the woman scribbled over the entire receipt with black marker, making it illegible. Then gave it back to me. This was the worst experience I have ever had in any store. I would never reccommend this store to anyone. They do not run an honest business. Jenny Beauty supply in Matteson has cheaper prices and a much larger selection of products. Most importantly much better customer service.

At first site you think that it is Ok. I have been there several times. Yesterday, I went in to purchase a haie dryer. I bought a heat cap thinking it would be OK and I asked the owner if he would do the job. Tried it immediately but it was just heat. I took iy back and bought a hooded dryer. The heat cap was 39.00 and the dryer was 34.99. I put it on the counter to purchase a brush. When I got to the counter he charged me 39.00. I asked if the dryer was the same and he said yes. I looked for the price and he had removed it. It is only five dollars different but I hate dishonesty. He uses the phrase God bless you. I want be back. Thinking about taking the dryer back.
