Westons has evolved very nicely into an excellent coffee shop. I first went here a few years ago when they were just starting out. Now they have an extensive menu (with a large, easy to read hanging sign displaying the menu), awesome artwork on the walls, nice tables, and a very friendly and polite staff. They have Metropolis coffee, lattes, frappes, tea, etc.. I love how they have non-dairy milk options. Lake Effect sometimes has their beer there. They also have pastries, sandwiches, paninis, etc. (online menu in description) Very clean and comfortable. Independently owned local business and a nice addition to the neighborhood! Right across the street from Thomas Jefferson and his pigeon farm.
Best coffee around for miles. This is a delicious and unpretentious coffee shop with great breakfast and lunch options as well. I was blown away by the cold brew I ordered and plan on returning regularly. Give this place a try if you want great coffee and would like to support local.

I ordered 2 coffes and 2 sandwhiches, when i finally got my order i realized i was only given 1 sandwhich and no straw for my frappe. Sandwhich was supposed to be pressed which it wasnt. I had higher expectations.

Great little coffee shop in Jefferson Park, right next door to the Popeyes and across from the CTA Blue Line Train Stop.They typically brew metropolis coffee, so if you are a fan of them this is your place. Coffee shop is still take out only. No seats inside yet due to pandemic, and no outdoor seating. Regardless, they make a great cup. I asked for a caramel macchiato, which they happily accommodated since it wasnt listed on their menu. Prices are fair and the coffee was great. Definitely will try em out again when in the area!
Very overpriced for a neighborhood coffee shop with mediocre coffee. Paid 7$ for an iced latte with oat milk.
Great service, lovely addition to this decrepit area, and decent eats. They have happy hour (wine, craft beer canned and draft) a small retail selection, a customer restroom, and a perfect noise level for peaceful afternoons reading or working. Conveniently located next to the Jefferson Park Blue Line Station and all relevant bus lines. I will be back.

Im a tough critic, but this place has bomb donuts and even better coffee. This is the only place I can drink my coffee black and enjoy its notes. The cold brew is also nice and strong.Definitely stop in, its across the street from the Jefferson Park blue line.

Im so glad we have this place in our neighborhood. Fantastic spot to enjoy a cub of coffee and read, work or just people watch going in and out of Jeff Park Station. I meet with my clients there all the time and vibe is perfect for a meeting. Always roomy enough to find the table, the atmosphere is great with a modern feel and they can order coffee or beer if they wish. Speaking of beer. Good rotating selection on tab and its fun to spontaneously stop by for a pint during the happy hour.

The coffee is great and the people are kind. Thats all one really wants in a coffee shop. Please give your money to them instead of big chains (lookin at you, Starbucks).

Westons gives the clean feel of a Starbucks combined with the home style of a mom and pop shop with chalk menus and care in their coffee preparation. I walked in just as they opened and ordered a drip coffee to go and the person working there that early morning was sociable and talked with me as I asked about the different beans they use. The coffee was Brazilian and tasted great on my morning commute.Definitely the pick up I needed to start my (early) morning! Cant wait to try the rest of their menu
We did the Lake Effect Brewery (Wednesday Mashup Special) Beer & Donuts. Donuts were from Westons Coffee & Tap. Donuts were amazing! A special treat during this social distancing time. Cake donuts with glaze or with chocolate were so very tasty! Thank you!

This place is a gem. The coffee is amazing, the atmosphere and ambiance has a chill, studious vibe. Super convenient location across the train station... I love it. Highly recommended.
We were guests a private birthday party here. Staff was friendly, the beer on tap was chosen by the person throwing the party. My choice of beer for the night was Lake Effect. My wife did not enjoy the Cabernet. Small appetizers were ok, sandwiches were delicious.
This place is awesome. It has everything a small cafe should have. From coffee to wine, they even make sandwiches. It’s very continently located right across the street from the blue line. It also has a friendly staff, especially Paul he’s such a down to earth guy, makes the best cappuccino.

Was a great place to have a sandwich and coffee. A good variety of food options: breakfast sandwiches, bagels, muffins, etc. Tea and coffee options are plentiful as well. Great location across the street from Jefferson Park Transit terminal. Serves liquor as well for a happy hour treat. Good luck and hope business is great!
We really love coming here! The staff are really nice and they have great speciality coffees. They had a unique one with rosemary that was so good.
A really cute little place. I havent had a chance to try their food yet even though they have a pretty full menu and also alcoholic beverages. I love their seasonal coffee drinks, they are festive and the staff is nice.
Great place with friendly staff. Always a pleasure. Would definitely recommend.Will note that the sign is confusing. Seems it used to be 730 and is now 7 but the white out is splotchy. This makes it so that its likely going to take a person coming at 710 a minute (and maybe a few pulls on the door) to understand.The 30 is still much more prominent than the splotchy white behind it.Yall should like paste or paint an even square over the 30 completely covering it because it is still quite visible.Only reason for 4 stars, But Ill change it when the signs more clear.

I was served hot coffee that was delicious and up to my expectations. They have some fun flavors like lavender which seem amazing. This location is close to the Jefferson Park blue line so a nice grab and go joint

While it may be a bit more pricey than your average chain Coffee Joint, the product they serve is delicious! 10 out of 10 do recommend the lavender latte. The atmosphere is charming, and the location is very walkable from the Metra station. The only downside for me was that there was not designated parking for the specific place, but street parking was fairly easy.
This place is a staple for me. Its a short walk from my apartment, the employees are really friendly, decent sandwiches, good donuts and the coffee -which I dont normally have strong opinions about- is fantastic. If I had any suggestions Id say more options on chips with your sandwich but beyond that Ive got nothing.

Westons is a great addition to the community. Its modern but not pretentious with enough coffee and sandwiches for most folks. Went with my partner and young child and staff were fairly helpful and creative in making steamed juice. The problems we had seemed to stem from being a newer place while they are training needs staff. Id love to come back and see how they iron out the kinks of a changing menu, staff learning systems, etc. Thanks for opening Westons. We will be back.

Great place for coffee, but not only.. Good selection of wine and beer as well. Plus one of the best Irish coffee I ever tried. Very friendly customer service.
A wonderful coffee shop with fantastic baristas, delicious sandwiches and snacks as well as a great selection of beers. Perfect place to stop on the way to work for fueling up and on the way home for winding down.
Westons is a great little coffee shop right off the Jeff Park blue like station. There is some street parking but its paid and limited. The cafe itself serves all the coffee drinks you can imagine along with wine, beer, and cocktails, as well as various sandwiches, bagels, and other breakfast/lunch items. The coffee (metropolis) is good, the staff is nice, free wifi (obviously), and its a good space to work in. Its also one of the few good coffee shops in the neighborhood. What else you need to know?
Got the avocado & tomato toast and it was amazing. Coffee was also very good. I would definitely recommend this place!

Amazing gem in the heart of Jeff Park! I had their iced vegan horchata latte- not too sweet, but sweetly refreshing with just the right amount of get-up-and-go. Great atmosphere & friendly service, too.

Really like this spot: super cute and its not too deep in the city.I have tried the Lavender Latte which is delicious and the Masala Chai latte and an Americano.They also have plenty of outlets for laptops making it a great spot for studying.My ONLY recommendation is to add coconutmilk as another non-dairy alternative (tastes really good with lattes, doesnt add the nuttiness that almondmilk does).Either way though I still enjoyed their lattes with the almondmilk and will continue coming here and trying all of their drinksHighly recommend :)And staff is great!!

I can not stress how much I live this place! The frappuccinos are good, the chai iced lattes are amazing! (If your a fan of cinnamon) The donuts are amazing not like Dunkin they are so much better! The sandwiches are good, even though I am not a fan of the mustard they make there but if you like tangy you will like there sandwiches. The building is beautiful and I love the seating, there is a bar, some seats set up by the window, and more seats in the back. The staff is so nice and they make you feel so welcomed! Great place, I will be coming back!

I’ve been taking the Metra more to go to Harvard. I live in Edgewater so I take the bus to get here. I was hoping there would be a place better than Dunkin Doughnuts to stop at and there was. It is a great little place to have a Lavender Almond Milk Latte and take a minute before I go on the next part of my journey. They have a tasty cafe menu, alcoholic beverages (if you want) and access to free WiFi. Thank you being here and being friendly.
