Update 1/8/21. I received a call from Mark Felix yesterday to follow up on my complaint. He offered an apology...due to unprecedented volume of orders, their staff could not handle all the calls during the holiday season. I appreciated the personal apology, and putting in the effort to make things right. I requested a refund to which he said he would do, and additionally was giving me a $150 gift certificate to give them another chance. I am upgrading my rating for his A+ effort. I will use the gift certificate and will determine after I have tried their steak if I can give them 5 stars.Updated 2 days after my post: I received a voicemail stating that my review was inaccurate, claiming that a supervisor had contacted me and was sending me the missing order. This is FALSE. The only reason I was contacted was because of the concern about my posting on social media. NO, MY REVIEW was NOT INACCURATE. First of all, no one from customer service contacted me personally after several attempts that I made to contact them. Secondly, I am not interested in receiving their product anymore because it was intended to be served for my guests on Christmas eve, so too late now. They should not assume I still want the steaks. THIRD, I am not home to receive it. Again, had someone contacted me, this would not happen. FOURTH, I already filed a dispute with my credit card company because of their non-response on the missing order. So, if there was a rating of 0 stars, I would have downgraded the rating to 0!!!Original post: I received an email special from ALLEN Brothers for free hamburgers for an order of steak, so I thought it would be nice to order special steaks for Christmas dinner with my daughter and her husband. I had it delivered for Dec 23. The package came on time, but only hamburgers were in it. So much for special Christmas dinner. Since then, I have made several attempts to call Customer service and also have sent 2 emails. Note that I am not able to contact a live person each time I call them, no matter what time of day, so I had to leave voice messages. Its been over a week, and no response from them. I would never recommend this company again. I also ordered the Seafood variety as a present and they delivered 2 days early.and of course the intended recipients were out of town and not a able to receive the package.
WOST. EVER. Customer service is horrible. I bought something ONE time several months ago, and they have been spamming me with THREE magazines a month ever since. Ive called customer services multiple times, talked to a manager, and even contacted them through Facebook. Multiple people have assured me I would be removed from the list. I got three more magazines today. Two are for people who dont even live here. How complicated is it to TAKE ME OFF THE LIST?!
Just received my heritage turkey and I am thrilled!!! I left this to the last minute this year and was scrambling to find a small-ish turkey, and all of the local purveyors were out of what I wanted. I searched through the internet and stumbled upon this site and took a chance. The turkey I received was exactly what I was looking for: Joyce Farms, organic & pasture-raised heritage turkey. And the price was very fair to boot! Thank you, I will be getting my turkey from here every year!
The are the WORST COMPANY TO ORDER FROM ON-LINE.Honet, they offer free items if you spend so much but never give you a place to enter the code ....Ripe off......happened back to back with us trying to place an order .And showing $36 to ship Chicago to Wisconsin on small order. Omaha and Kansas city steak are usually FREE from Neb.
Placed an order which I never received, and unable to get a refund. Customer Service is unhelpful and rude. Fraudulent company that took my money but never sent product or any confirmation. Avoid at all costs.

I have gotten great steaks from them in the past. But most recently the box of steaks I got came in damaged, soaking wet, no dry ice, broken cooler, and not even cold. Upon contacting them, Allen Brothers customer service said We are confident that the product is wholesome and ready for enjoyment. Not the response you want when you receive $350+ of steaks that arrive in that manner.
Had a 3pm appointment, got there earlierthere in no parking to wait (oh well it’s the city), but if you park on a street no one will bother yougot me in at 1pm & loaded in no timetight lot, tricky backing
If you love fine beef do not let the price scare you away. These steaks will rival any you will receive at the very best steakhouses anywhere. Proud to serve them in my home. Theyre prime excellence.
If youve had a delicious steak in Chicago chances are it came from Allen Brothers. Terrific quality aged meats.
