Typical Mexican grocery store with a good taco place in the back. Tacos are slightly expensive but the steak quality is very good.

Customer service is horrible, a cashier is always so rude to the elders. Ive witnessed this in person! Next time I will definitely ask for names. This is happening more often here.

Carne asada tacos are so good and juicy. The Salsa Verde is amazing too, its such a small spot but its great for takeout. Totally recommend it for takeout.

La villa is only getting bad reviews over a 12 year old kid doesn’t know how to speak Spanish. La villa is a Mexican corner shop, I don’t know why you would send your child knowing who doesn’t speak Spanish, la villa is honestly a great corner shop with the best tacos in Belmont Cragin

Let me start off my saying their food is great. I shop here often when visiting my in laws who live 2 blocks away. Ive never had a problem until the other day. I sent my son to buy tortillas. He got 8 packs tortillas and 4 fifty cent bags of chips and a sweet bread. The cashier charged him $31. When he gave us the receipt i sent him and his dad back. The cashier told his father that the reason she charged him an extra $25 was because he didnt know Spanish. After his father got mad because how In the world can you justify overcharging a 12 yr old $25 simply because he only speaks English, they refused to refund us. Her next excuse was my son robbed something. Nothing Im the store cost $25 that he could take except for meat. He did not stick 5 pounds of meat down his pants. His father asked if anyone saw him take something and if they could look at the cameras because we would gladly pay for anything he stole. They told us they wouldnt review the cameras and no one saw him take anything but that he had a lot of stuff when he came up to the register. Only after he was going to call the cops because they refused to return the money they issued a refund. If you have teenage kids who go to this corner store please review your receipt. $25 is a lot of money to overcharge. We were not given an apology and I feel that is a shame. No matter our skin color or what language we speak all of our money is green! The only thing I want is an apology from discriminating against my son based on him only knowing English.

The people who work/manage there are thieves out to rob you by overcharging you. People will catch on by word of mouth. Maybe now theyll learn that its much easier to be honest and respectful to their customers.

I often shop here because is close to my house... However I dont buy many things here since my son witness one of the workers using instant coffee and liquid creamer and putting it back on the shelves for sale... So I be really careful on what I buy here!!!!

So the original Villa was on Fullerton. This is the second location. The owners sold the Fullerton location to downsize their operation. This location is small. Decent selection of groceries. THE FAST FOOD THOUGH, BEST CARNE ASADA IN THE NORTH SIDE. Tacos de carne asada or torta de asada. I highly recommend it for fast Mexican food.

I bought cooked meat from here a few times they sell it 1 pound for $12 and each time it gets worse to the point where the last two times I ate it I got sick food poisoning I know it was this meat bcuz it was all I ate also the vegetables and fruits they sell are already bad they dnt have fresh produce at all I cant believe the inspector hasnt been there yet I bought 7up and the entire week all the 2 liters where completely flat they dnt even care about there customers and the women working the registers act like they dnt wanna work they dnt know English and they over charge you if you dnt pay attention and its ridiculous there not shut down!! Cant even trust a 2 liter from them
