Had remote start installed several years ago. Worked ok but the remote quit. Brought vehicle in, and they threw a new remote for reasonable price. And fast.

Ive been here twice to have a auto start put on my car, and both times theyve done a fantastic job. the people here are very nice and very experienced and quick!

Unluckily, after my 1 year warranty expires, Radio ( Sound Stream )stopped working, came to their store and they said, there’s nothing they can do about it but to replace.Spending more than $300 for a radio that is use for almost 2 years is not worth it. Not justified and not fair.Will never give them anymore business.

This place is really bad. Did a remote start 2 years ago had to have it reprogrammed 8 months ago just went back the old the lady at the front counter are rude and up noxious do not give good customer service lady did not even listen before having an attitude i will never give my money to this place again.

This place has been here for a long time. George is a cool guy and his workers do good work. This is my 2nd time Im installing an alarm, the first time I had an audio system installed and an alarm. He offers life time warranty on the car alarms at a great competative price.

This place SUCKS! the old bruce jenner wanna be at the front was beyond rude. came in for a remote starter and they said it would be 2 hours and it took almost 4! guy who was fixing my car was incredibly rude and when we came in to check in on the car 2 hours after we came in, not only was he watching porn on his phone, he said, very rudely, that he just started 10 minutes ago because he was eating lunch. when we asked for a refund, or at least partial if not full because they kept having problems with my car, problems caused by them, he said oh sure! lets all go on a trip to the f-ing bahamas too! place is probably violating countless violations. so disgusting and gross and COLD! please save your money and do not come here.

Took in a boss single din flip up radio for installation.Installion was done within a hour.Workmanship looks great and sound perfectly fine.I payed $110 for dash kit, radio atenna, and installation.Everything works as it should.

I stopped in twice there is just one older gentleman at the counter. He seem to have good customer relation skills. I was quoted a $1200.00 job for Saturday. Came by Friday to ask some questions. Never got to talk to anyone. Buyer beware!!!!! I will take my business elsewhere.

I was told to be there at 3 to get a remote start on my dodge journey and they would have it finished today. I get there and they tell me oh well we had other people show up so we cant do it today you can leave it and we will finish it tomorrow. They lied to me and I drove 30 minutes to get there. I made the appointment and they pretty much said f#$@ me. Never again would not recommend ever they dont keep their word

Ungodly bad. Horrible staff, very rude in the phone. Entire shop is packed with junk. They don’t take covid seriously—no masks, no protocols in place. Messy, dirty, bad service, repulsive to be in. If you have an intoxalock or other BAAID device, do NOT use this place. Find any other place in the city. Trust me—you do not want to work with these people, let alone trust them with your money, your car, or your life in any capacity. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I brought my van here to get an alarm and remote start. After the install my door locks kept popping and my alarm kept chirping. Ive brought it back 4 times now and Im still having issue. The van wasnt like tht before I brought it in.

Ridiculous additional charge to the said price for a starter. My car started having difficulty starting for a week then the starter stopped working. After the starter stopped working I found my car turning on fine again. Took it in and it turns out “gotta get the starter fixed” even though the car turned and started fine prior to bringing the car back. For the first day the issue of my car not being able to turn on properly came up, then the starter stopped working again and my car works like a charm. The automatic starter isn’t even worth taking the car back in for since everyone in there treats their customers like roaches.

Very dirty, bad waiting room and there were a lot of customers complaining while I was there. Would not recommend.

Highway robbery. Charged for services never rendered. Dropped the car off at 9am said would be ready in 3 hours, then ready when we will call you, then the tech had to leave early, then the part never came. Terrible communication, awful customer services. George does not wear a mask.

Took my Toyota 4Runner to have a remote start installed. Paid over 300.00 for the whole install. Everything seemed fine until my truck would no longer turn on. No other changes made to the truck except the remote starter. These guys will mechanically mess up your vehicle. STAY AWAY. GO SOMEWHERE WITH BETTER REVIEWS.

If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. I dropped off my vehicle for a car starter 2 hours after they opened. I was told it was $128 over the phone. When I walked in, they said that the service was going to be either $218 or $256 depending the range I wanted for my key to be able to turn on my starter. I went with the longest range. I was told over the phone that the process took 2-3 hours. When I walked in, they said minimum 3 hours, can be longer. I received a call at 4:40 PM that they needed to keep my car overnight because they needed some parts and could not do the installation without these so-call additional parts. I cannot wrap my head at the fact that this business kept my car for nearly six hours to just tell me that they did nothing to my vehicle and that they had to keep my car due to not having the parts for the installation. I will never recommend this place and I fully plan on reporting them to the BBB. This is completely unprofessional and poor management of a business.

Absolute the worst service I’ve received at any place I’ve ever been too on multiple occasions I’ve been to the shop to get my remote start fixed and every single time I get there they tell me they can’t do it that day even tho I come in at exactly the time they tell me too so I’m getting it fixed else wear I’d rather pay for a whole new remote start setup rather than deal with these people one more time

I have to bring my car back in the next day and keep me another long wait day... And after 1 month later my remote started not working I bring my car back again and another long wait day plus $75 charge to re-do it...

Very bad when you call him and he takes your car information to install the start remote, he gives you a price, and after you go to it and lose your time, the price changes and its service is very bad.

Very bad service and low quality. I bring a horn to fix for my car and paid more than 200 $. After a couple of weeks it’s stopped working. I went for them and she tried to make me lose hope. She told me we need a receipt and she told me you should wait long time. I will find another good place

I got my remote start here. Works great. It took about 2 1/2 hours to install. My only suggestion is bring something to do if you wait. Theres no TV and no radio.

Had my remote start put on here, with a lifetime warranty. When i took it for the 3rd time, they wanted charge me to fix it. When i went to pick up my truck they stated $30. I told him (owner) its under warranty, he didnt wanted to homered it, then then he had it dis assemble back to not working again cause i didnt had the $30. Lucky for me im a little saby with electrical, and fixed it my self. This is how these people treat their long time customers. NEVER AGAIN. 😕

We were looking for a place to install 2 alarm starters and a back up camera for 2 cars. Someone introduced me this business. The alarm starter installations seemed ok. I did not happy with the back up camera for my F150. I asked him to show me what the back up camera equipment look like and options. After installed, we went home at night and it showed light-spot from the license plates lights. I did not see so well. I brought the car back to the shop. He told us to pay $170 additional to install the camera which hooked up to the trunk opener. The price went up when you bring the car there. The front store woman did not keep the price as promised.

Cant tell much about the products untill i use it.non of the personal wear protection including the counter people which seems to by the owner by protection means at least a maskPretty obvious the location to deactivate alarm first place the thieves look for.i dont know if is no creativity of the installer or dont care good price done on time

Professional installation

The guy who answers the phone has the most unprofessional attitude and horrible customer service. Ive called him a couple times just for a quick question on the starter they installed on my truck and he was less than helpful. He is no better in person either. This guys has made me lose all my patience.

I had a remote starter put on in one month my battery dies out. I go back to explain he said its a low cell in my battery. I change the battery and the next day same thing. So I called they said it wasnt the remote starter. My car didnt start acting up until they installed the remote starter. Now Im going back to remove it. Something is draining my battery this battery is new no way my cat should be dieing out.

The only reason I even give them one star is only because I cant give them a 0 star rating I had them put in an alarm and remote start and when I leave I noticed my wipers didnt work anymore and my interior lights didnt work anymore and so I bring it back the same day and they gave me a really hard time and after they supposedly fixed the problem I leave out of town and my remote starter worked but tthetthe heat and air didnt work so I had to pay someone else to fix it so please dont come to this place and waste your money they are cheap for a reason Ill NEVER go back.

Well you might get a cheap deal.But be aware that George & his wife are very angry & upset at all times.It wont take too much to be treated like garbage from either one of these two.So if you ask too many questions, be ready for their unprofessional attitudes!!!Good luck!!

Just left from here upset at their bait, and switch. Wasted my day because of this. My girlfriend was quoted $128 for her car, and made an appointment for the next day. I walk in, and am told $248 for everything. When I had a conference call with my girlfriend involved to explain the situation the lady was indifferent to anything else. Will not advise to come here

They do a good job. Initially a person will be surprised with their customer service but aside from their approach, their rates and quality of job is good. They dont bargain.

Zero stars would not justify, it should be -5. Quoted $185, then puled unit and increased price by $75. .Charged before starting the job. Upon completion, AM radio and steering wheel control did not work - I was told it is my brand new units fault. Took it to another store, they fixed it and now all works (PAID ANOTHER $150). DO NOT GO THERE!

Stay away from them, unless you are in to horror stories! Im not even sure if they operate legally. State of IL shows that Mobile Audio & Alarm Inc. was dissolved in 1995!

I went to have my radio (which I bought separately) installed so all I would have to pay is for the installation. It was estimated 55 dollars for my 1998 civic which was better than Best Buys Geek Squad estimate of 75. My radio that i brought however needed the plug that i did not have. They also did not have the part so now I cant have anything installed. The older gentlemen at the front told me to look at a Kenwood which Ive seen priced for around 80 dollars. He gave me an estimated price of around 120 dollars total which was pretty fair. It took around 45 minutes to install. When i went to pay it was 140 dollars which included tax and miscellaneous cost to the total; thats the only thing I found to be a negative point. Bottom line is 4 stars for good service and good workmanship, but 1 star off for the little extra cost when paying.

I would give it a 0 if I could, the owner is a horrible man with no ethics at all, his store messed up the computer on my mazda 6 and even with a complete mazda analysis which btw I had to pay $518 to fix which clearly started the system of my car was damaged due to the incorrect installation of an aftermarket car charger.... PLEASE EVERYONE DO NOT GO HERE!!! HE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF BEING OPEN AT ALL!!!! ...... And by the ratings on here you can see Im not the only one!!

It amazes me this place is still around. They patch things together for temporary fixes using parts they recover from.other installs and claim are new. The fine print about the lifetime warranty is only disclosed after you pay for the install... Mechanical actuators for door locks are not covered! Nor are the remotes, Or the components they used to make contact on my sliding door. They said only the module...Youll usually find the owner trying to figure out how to scrape off all the oxide that has formed on his antique remotes ( check the battery connectors in the remotes you received from this guy... Notice the razor blade scratches?) ... He installed my alarm into my car less than 2 years ago, today he tells me all thats an old alarm more than 10 years old and that the remotes are 90 dollars. Actuators are 85$ a door? Ebay sells a set with a new alarm for as little as 45 that covers 4 doors. This place is really expensive in the Long run.... Going.to stickwith best buy as I cant help but notice all the cars in here being fixed for.problems they created while installing.. Like a range rover whose fuel pump mmo longer works. The remotes are 25 on amazon he charges 90 because of programming... Thanks but I saw how to do it on You tube.

They have put a remote start and Alarm in every new car I have had (well the last 8)and never had any problems. I also give out remote starts for Christmas gifts thats why im here now. Its the gift that keeps giving. Way more affordable the the dealer and best buy plus a life time warranty.

Ive gotten all my alarms for all 3 cars there.I was happy until this .Id called and was told one price and when I got there it was double the price because its an keyless entry.I was mad but I call the dealership they were higher and called another 2 shops they were less but I couldnt get in for 1 week or so .So I was stuck with them waiting in the super cold waiting room with no heat none!!!!.

They are the worst experience ever first the place is dirty and ugly inside, made me pay first. And it was a different price than the one they said before, and kept me waiting for an hour then could not install the radio. And the technician knows nothing literally, i had to show him which plugs to use, and he kept saying I am Microsoft certified!! I dont know what that has to do with car audio installation. In brief Very shady place. DONT GO!

WOW. Im in shock that this place still even operates! They did my automatic start car alarm and left the car parked in the street when they were done with it. Instead of calling me the minute it was done the car stayed on the street for an another day. When I went to go pick it up it had a street sweeping parking ticket. Went inside to tell them and they REFUSED to pay it? Got into a whole argument at the store and the guy behind the counter did not give a crap at all, Im explaining that I didnt park the car there and why should I pay. There was no getting through to this guy....I ended up paying the ticket myself...now I see that the battery is causing some serious drainage,had to buy a second one this year. I bet they installed it wrong because ever since the install I had to replace the battery within the same year,car was driving 5 years on the same battery until I had the remote installed by these jokers. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN FROM THIS PLACE. No wonder theyre not registered with the BBB because the amount of complaints would shut them down.

I went here to get a good radio, I bought a high quality Kenwood, the price was less then most competitors for the radio & labor, they got my radio sooner then they told me, took care of me as soon as I got there, and the tech did great professional work, also tech sat in my truck (Tundra) and explained exactly what I needed to know about my amazing Kenwood...I will definitely go back and get my alarm from them...

These guys are not professional installers. Maybe the owner was professional at one time, but a bout of gout has rendered him lame. Appropriately so because they literally glued my $600 stereo in place. They not only didnt attempt a proper installation they installed it knowing it would fall out. Then to add insult to injury they fake a i cant speak english accent. I would not trust them to screw in a light bulb.
