Ive been coming here for awhile, and I’ve never been disappointed. The owner is honest, and never sells you something you don’t need. He is straight to the point and very well versed in his field. I’ve had my entire truck done and now my motorcycle, Ive never been happier. With that being said, they are NOT the cheapest, but they are also not the most expensive. With sounds, you truly get what you pay for and I think they are 1000% worth every penny. Thank you, again! See you soon for my next project.

Unprofessional and untrustworthy. They sell defective amplifiers and subwoofers they just want your money but will not fix problems that occur from their defective merchandise. They give you the run around just to avoid replacing bad merchandise that’s under warranty and are so inconsiderate not to care when or if a replacement is available before you have to pay 60 dollars each for defective items that installed themselves due to their greed and no regards for monitoring and testing their merchandise to assure its working and doesn’t break down in 3 months later after you spend over a thousand dollars at this place they only appreciate a certain kind of people’s business and therefore that explains the up and down reviews about bad staff and inconsistent service they will cheat you and over charge you because they think they know more about radio’s and how to install it that they can tell you anything and improperly install equipment for failure to bring you back to spend more money because they will accuse your original equipment of being faulty and broken to force you to buy from them

Awful place absolutely awful. People working there were just absolutely VERY rude they hang up on you talk back to you and wont help you. I never write about anyone but this place is ridiculous. Next will be the Better Business Bureau.

Professional, speedy and with reasonable prices

I thought I was doing good when I purchase two Auto starters. I had to keep bringing one if my vehicles back because they install a bad antenna. I had to take me Jeep somewhere else to fix their work. Shame on you Jay. Please, save your money good people and go somewhere else.

I got my automatic car starter here and had to return three times because they never did it correctly the first two times. It was a huge inconvenience. Then my husband got his car starter time extended and ever since we brought it there it doesn’t work. I let the manager know that it hasn’t worked properly since we took it there and he said that he’s going to have to charge a service charge to look at it. Once this gets fixed we’ll never go back. So frustrating.

Living in Chicago and dealing with cold weather is the norm, but after finding a great deal on remote car start through groupon, we decided to press go and get the product. The service was great and the work was flawless. This place has a driveway right next to it and you can usually pull in their and go in and ask your questions, just be prepared to move your vehicle. Large selection of car electronics from stereos to car alarms and car starters and everything in between.

Always excellent service this is my 3rd trip for service on 3 different cars all for automatic starters which work excellently. There is a waiting area with TV and toilet.

This place Does excellent work!! I got a remote start done and it was great! My husband later went and got a radio with navigation and recently my sister in law got tints and an ipod integration. they do everything and will work with you on the price! i recommend them to everyone i know.

Had an alarm installed and got the car scratched, according to guy there is no way we could have done that they have video . I went in fine, got out scratched...... There is no way... ?? It seems like the were leaning by the car in many places but the scratch on door was just too deep. Sucks some people dont care of others peoples property .

These guys will tell u 1 thing over the phone & change the price once u get there. The results where me walking out the door & getting an alarm w/ remote start elsewhere for $100 less. Dnt settle for these guys do the research & ull find a better deal elsewhere.

Not a good experience, 2-3hrs to install a remote starter, purchased off Groupon and still paid $108.00 (read all fine print before groupon purchases). My radio was working when I got there, it wasnt when I left. The restroom was out of order. ( had to go across the street to Dunkin doughnut)+) patrons returned to says things werent working properly from previous work.(Alarms....ect)

So I just went in last night to have a remote starter put on my car. I was going to get it done at the dealership but the price they quoted was #CRAZY (to me). I was about to call the dealership for an appointment when it hit me the #dealerships #always #OverCharge. so I googled locations for the service I wanted. Anyway I think this was the first one to pop up. I called requested a quote and the price was in line with what I thought it should be. So I set up my appt. and I thought it was #AWESOME that I could go in on a Sunday. SO the wait was about 2.5 hrs. They have a nice size waiting area, which is clean and I was surprised to see the restroom was fairly clean. Nice tv to watch while you wait. Or bring your own form of entertainment, (audio)book or whatever. Service was nice, no problems, the remote starter works great, (well its not even been 24 hrs but I started my car from my window on the 12th fl so hey it works!.. AT this moment, Im #Satisfied with my service. (However They turned my car lights off Auto so when I drove off my lights werent on and I didnt realize it for several blocks and only b/c someone #Blew their horn at me. (Thank you, whoever you were). Because they are generally on AUTO I didnt pay attention to that. (I realized once I got home,. they mustve turned the lights off b/c upon start up the lights would be on. I dont really mind that. But anyway I paid for my service and signed my receipt with a really good ink pen, so I asked the guy, Can I have this he said Sure LOL so I have a new pen.. Thanks Guys.. for me it was Good service, and the Right Price...

Trying to charge me $50 first because my starter will not work he was saying that it may be the wires etc they should told me that yesterday when I called the other and guy that help me out last year with the same problem was a great and nice help but the guy that help me out today name Jay I believe the owner said maybe that is why he doesnt work here no more because he didnt charge me I end up doing the job myself following the paper I was given to for free maybe he was trying to charge me the $50 for the 3sec job because I was a female I could of been taken advantage if I had paided like he wanted me to. I dislike people like that.

They will get 1 star from me because they can’t give me estimate price for tinting windows on my semi truck!! I called them twice, tried to ask how much will cost me to tint windows on my semi, they told me to send them picture of my truck what I did and after that nothing! I texted 5 messages after that, called them and they said someone will call me next day with estimate but that never happened.So, they completely ignore me even I called them and texted last 3 weeks.So unprofessional.But I have to mention that they tint windows on my Nissan Maxima and they did great job!

Nice variety of electronics. Had gotten alarm out on and they left installation out had to take car back because I had a problem with lights they fixed the problem with no problem by passing the mondule.

I did bought a Groupon deal, i payed 129 for it then when i took my car to them they said i need to pay 100 more, and that i need to wait till the end of the day to get back my car, why the hell is that? Why they didnt said on Groupon description that i might be have to pay extra $ 100 ? Frankly this my worst experience ever, and from that deal i did save nothing! I should ve bought the remote starter else where and i might be had to pay it less!!I dont advise anyone to do business with them, and i wont come back again ! Stay away from them!!

Im at Ph.d electronics, right now. I purchased the Groupon yesteday (4/21/16 and came in today. I called before I came in, because the fineprint in the Groupon said something about a bypass (costing more money, if applicable). The rep on the phone told me I wouldnt need it. I knew I wanted a couple more things done, so I read the reviews online (Yelp and Groupon and Google). There are a few scathing reviews, which made me skeptical. When I arrived, I spoke to Alex about what I wanted to get done. He listened and showed me my options. He was very professional; I did feel pressured. He also suggested waiting on the wants instead of the the needs.HONESTLY, I spent about 3 times more than I planned on spending, but Im very happy about what Im getting. Its money well spent. For all that is being done, my heart is telling me hes being more than fair, even generous. Im happy with the service, customer service, and products.If anything should change, Ill update my review. As of right now, Im a happy and satisfied customer.

I purchased a Groupon for a remote starter, with 2 remotes, installed by PH D for $129.00, and overall was satisfied.I made an appointment Dec.19th 2013 for there earliest and got in Jan. 6th 11am (Coldest day in Chicago in over 2 decades) and was told the job would take about 3 hours. The wait was not bad, their separate waiting room with movie seating, flat screen TV and cable and a heater but still cold in there. The work was done in about 2.5hrs and I was very happy, very nice man took me out to my van and showed me how to use my new fob/starter and then made sure I was able to use it.*NOTE the fine print on GROUPON- extra charges (very by vehicle) if your key has a chip (mine 2006 Chevy Uplander was $74.99) as well as * extra charge if you want keyless remote on same fob as your new starter ($40.00) (not needed if you have already have a fob to open doors, but means you have to use two different fobs when starting your car then opening the door) + City Chicago sales tax 9.5% paid another $138.19 at Ph.d Electronics Inc to do the job.so be prepared to pay $250-$300 total for starter and installation, Just sayin...Again, overall very pleased and happy with these guys. Knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend.

The worst! They damaged my truck when they tried to install my remote starter, I had to spend almost a grand to fix their mistake, dont go to them! They suck.

Terrible. Paid $80 to get a DVD stereo installed. Why were the brackets that hold the radio in place still in the box when my installation was done. Im mad I cant share a photo. The picture says it all.
