Customer service is definitely not good here. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other customers. The first time I came here it was great but my second & third times not so much. The smoothie guy just left a line waiting for over 15mins stating he had to go to the restroom. Smh hopefully things get better. It’s essential to have a health food store in the community. Let’s do better this is not ok

Great place to shop and the juice bar is lovely but EVERY SINGLE TIME I order FOOD they get my order wrong. I ask for vegan cheese, they use real cheese. I ask for NO zucchini it’s extra zucchini.Truly need to do a better job of getting the order CORRECT. Food Allergens and dietary restrictions exist and it’s DISRESPECTFUL & INCONSIDERATE to just make whatever comes to mind instead of what was asked of them.

The WORST experience I’ve had. This place is a complete disaster!!! I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. They may have good products but the service is extremely poor and slow. The manager is very poor at problem solving.The workers at the smoothie bar are so RUDE! As a business owner, I wonder if the owners has any idea of what happens when they’re not around. Then again, reading all these terrible reviews I have to believe the owners are somewhat aware but chose to turn the other cheek! GHETTO

It appears that health foods and rudeness is the new thing. The culture of rudeness has permeated this business from answering their phones too direct customer service. I make it a point not to recommend this place to anyone looking to find a health food store, they can call home. Where is the half of a star rating option

Cashiers are nice and helpful but I been coming here for years and I’m noticing that the smoothies/chefs are becoming rude by the day. Not sure if they are tired or under paid but the attitudes from male and female and the wait time is just unacceptable. I work at a hospital near by and came in several times on my lunch break and waited 25min for a smoothie.... side note tall black guy is nice 80 percent of the time just not sure if he is being overwhelmed with orders which cause him to be a bit snappy on certain days.

I’ve been coming here for over twenty years, the juice bar is horrible, do exactly what they want to, for example I always order peanut butter cup smoothie but I can’t drink milk, for the love of Christ I’ve caught this young girl three times putting milk in my drink so I confronted her told her don’t do it anymore, she gets upset so I went to the manager with my issue he tells me that this is not milk I then tells him I’m acustomer and I know what I can’t drink but he starts talking to me very rude and disrespectful, I’m taking my business somewhere else, all the thousands I’ve sent I can take business elsewhere if anyone knows who owns this store I would appreciate it to the highest if I could get info . These peoples need more love in this place and put those ghetto out

Always a rewarding run for tried and true products and services offered that I both need and love. I found exactly what I looked for (a particular herbal tea), products Id recommended to a friend, in a cold remedy. He and I both left satisfied!

The smoothie guy was extremely unprofessional. Management doesn’t care about customer service or loyal customers. I guess not all black businesses care about customer experience. And I was banned due to the illogical accusation by the rude smoothie guy(tall one). It clear he going to be employee of the month. Never will I shop there again.

Do not order from them through Grubhub. After waiting over 90 minutes for my food to be delivered, Grubhub called to say that what I wanted wasn’t available. This is the second time I’ve tried to order from them and had my order cancelled.

I really want to give a higher rating. I go here all the time for smoothies. 3/10 times they make the smoothies correctly as they are listed. The other 7 times they don’t. It takes a while and you have to he careful. Once they added almond milk to a smoothie that didn’t even call for it because they were out of coconut water. Didn’t say anything just swapped it without checking. This could all be resolved if the folks making smoothies would just follow the recipe. Smh. I’ll keep trying but the mistakes are mounting. Wish there was another smoothie place in the neighborhood. Sigh. For an 8 dollar smoothie it should be right.

Do not order a smoothie if you actually have something to do. Imaginary customers who arent even there are a priority, which could have you waiting a hour for a smoothie. I actually did some shopping, watched then make 3 smoothies for people who werent even there, and the guy running it has a nasty attitude. Hes not running an efficient operation like the last guy. I actually left without getting my money back or the smoothie. Long time customer that wont be coming back. Get it together.

I absolutely Love this place, they have really good detoxing agents that have worked better than any another products ive used e.g. Bentonite with certain cascara degrades works wonders!!!

I used to absolutely love this place, but the last couple of times I was there about 90% of the male customers AND EMPLOYEES were not wearing masks, despite this being state law. Its not a large store, so its not exactly easy to keep your distance from people. Makes you wonder how many Covid infections have come from Bonne Sante.

I LOVE this place. The pulled “pork” sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. Great spot for a healthy bite to eat and a great spot to pick up bulk herbs, teas, spices, and good quality supplements.

Hipster heaven. Mostly prepared foods...but pretty good meat dept and fish dept. I like the wide aisles and parking is really good. Strange checkout system....I feel like im in some sort of Orwellian book.

I ordered through Ritual. When I arrived the female employee working the food bar ignored me for five minutes as I was standing in front of her. One of her coworkers working the juice bar asked her are you busy? since he saw me standing. The female employee proceeded to curse at him in front of the customers since the male employee had interrupted a conversation she was having with a friend. She proceeded to ignore me. The male coworker had to leave his station to give me the food I had ordered.

I always come here for the elixirs but always end up buying something else. Friends and family have been coming here for years when it comes to health foods and vitamins. I love coming here and I highly recommend the elixirs!!!

I use to love shopping here all the time for anything I needed health wise, but this place has changed drastically. I dont see anything I use to buy often. They actually moved the majority of everything around, which is expected. Why are a lot of products completely gone though??? I also dont see my favorite employee there anymore and that really made me sad. I do like that every now and then, they do discounts on some items. They have also added things like sage and other spiritual elements. They also accept EBT on some items there like food items and such. The place is expanding on the products being sold there.Please don’t pass this shop up!!! Great location also. I hope they never move the store or Ill really be devastated.

I really like this place. The staff have always been helpful. I love the juice bar. The guy behind the bar, Manny, hooked me up with a fruit smoothie that tasted out of this world!!!! I also picked up a package of organic oatmeal animal crackers intended for my son, but I ended up eating those, lol. Going back to replace them & get another amazing smoothie.

This has long been my goal to spot, in the area, whenever I wanted to buy health food or healthy products. The staff is eminently knowledgeable about health and how to use food to maintain yourself. I have never been disappointed here. A great place to begin to learn more about healthy foods and to purchase some as well! Highly recommended.

I love smoothies. This place provided me the best smoothie I ever had. I had the veg out smoothie and I was in heaven. This place instantly became a favorite. I will frequent this place more now as I begin my transition to vegetarian.

Wonderful options for Hyde Park :) Especially great section for less toxic and non-toxic choices for lotions, shampoos, deodorants. I can only imagine with the continued growth of Hyde Park and the development on 53rd street that they will be seeking a larger space as the current space is utilized to the brim! My only neg would be the hours open... Expanding on those would be appreciated as a 9:30 am start for a grocery store is a bit biased against early risers ;-)

I am absolutely addicted to their smoothies here. They have great lunch deals - smoothie and 1/2 panini for $9, and its very good. I also recommend their energy balls, gluten-free brownies and desserts. Good selection of kombucha as well. Their point system make it easy to earn smoothies. Definitely recommend!

Update 11/2020 - this place is STILL inconsistent. They dont enforce customers or workers wearing the mask, AND the smoothies still take an hour to make. Im done done done. We should all be done so they shut this place down.This place is so inconsistent at the juice bar and it is incredibly frustrating. There is one guy in particular who messes up my drink every single time and Im sick of it. Tried to support black owned businesses but Im done. For $7+ the drinks should be amazing. Im done Ill go to starbucks if I need a cold drink.

Their juice/smoothie bar is the best! I love supporting this local business. It has been a Hyde Park staple for as long as I can remember.

Very knowledgeable staff & carries a nice variety of health goods for a smalll store. The juice bar is excellent and the in store meals that are prepared are top-notch! I prefer getting my goods here than Whole Foods.

3years ago, I rated this place 5 stars - today, 3. The products are great, prices are relatively fair, staff is ok with the exception of the juice/smoothie/hot food bar employees. In the 3+ years that I have been a regular customer, the staff who work the bar give TRASH service. I dont know who is doing the hiring, whether the problem is a lack of leadership, or lack of quality applicants; the employees are rude, purposefully slow, condescending, and lack all structure and time management.

I have been shopping at Bon Sante for decades and I have never before experienced the level of disrespect and lousy service as I have today. I brought a deodorant back to the store that I purchased in the past month because it had broken from the bottom and oddly molded on the top. Instead of the usual customer service as I spend maybe $150 or so bucks there a month, I was told that I needed a receipt to verify when I had bought the product. I understand this from a business perspective but I was very disappointed in the way that Don spoke to me and the way that he seemed to obsess over a receipt for a clearly inferior product. He obsessed about this for several minutes while his line grew long and impatient, though after my initial disbelief it seemed best to move on. Don argued with me on two other points and just seemed in general agitated, petty, and unhappy to be behind the counter. I hope things work out over there as I can only imagine that the stressful way Don treated me is perhaps the way that he is being treated at the store or in some other venue. It seemed personal, even. Though I do not know him. I hope it all works out. Go in peace, brother. The customer service, and the smoothie, panini, and veggie tacos from the other side of the store were pretty good to decent, though. I will contact the deodorant company directly to resolve my concern. You would think that this company would need to rely on customer service and loyalty given the competition around the corner!

Great place but the manager that wheres baby t shirts is terrible to customers with problems. Once i got really comfortable with this store, and started integrating them into my daily routine they let me down on my biggest day ever. I then Asked for the owners name and the poor customer servicing manager refused to give it to me. I hope the owner reads this.

I frequent this store at least 2 times per month or when in need of something in particular. As of recent, about 6 months ago, i met the manager George.....great CS! I love this place! This is definitely because of George. If you werent there George, things might b pretty shaky! Although, i will say theres 2 young ladies that go out of there way to help me find the products i need and are very knowledgeable and patient! ;) Ill send a followup with your names......my memory fails me. Lol!So, compared to whole foods, whose prices are ridiculous, and other health stores, This one serves all your needs and are reasonably priced. As far as the juice bar is concerned, there is definitely much needed work.....toooo much talk about nothing.....VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!Thank you much to the 3 of you mentioned above for making my experience the best! :)See ya soon.

After running in circles. I stopped here and found hard to find herbs in tea leaf form. Awesome!

My boyfriend and I went to the store to find some vitamins. We were in there for about 10 minutes, while looking for the vitamins, the associate comes over and says You cant be behind here because we have registers so just let us know if you need something.. She said it rudely! As customers, we dont have control on where your registers are placed while trying to read the vitamins. The associate was rude and cared more about why the Wi-Fi wasnt working (because she wanted to get on Instagram, I overheard her talking) then providing good customer service. I do reside in the area so I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Great fully stocked HYDE Pk neighborhood health food store w/fresh juice & delicious hot homemade soup & other eats as well as traditional health food items.

AWESOME diversity of supplements, healthy food, vegan desserts, vitamins, and things you cant easily find in a grocery store or a GMC. Their smoothies are the best. I drive to town for them. Reasonably priced. Small family feel, and more reasonably priced than my normal go-to of whole foods or marianos.

Im so sick and tired of lazy people. I came in today at 6:50 and you cant make a smoothie? I personally think its unprofessional to say you close at 7 but its not 7 yet. But you want to sit there and talk about things that do not relate to work? Very unprofessional. I will not be returning. Its not even black owned smh. Its always so disappointing to see my own black people being unprofessional towards your own people. Do better!

I love this place

Walked in and no greet...approached juice bar and no greet...stood there reading menu while immature workers laughed at me and my friend I was with. It wasn’t until a few minutes later when we were told that juice bar is closed after they saw us reading menu. They were rude and ignorant acting. The atmosphere was uncomfortable!

My experience was not a good one I waited atleast 30 mins and never recieved a smoothie I ordered and paid for. I dont feel the staff did anything to expidite my order... so I requested a refund. The barista put several orders in front of my order and failed to aknowledge my presence. The juice bar was not even busy. This was my first and LAST visit.
