I’ve known Sam and have been a loyal & faithful customer for years. He has saved me hundreds of dollars because he is honest and a great mechanic. His staff is awesome and always available to help. I drive from quite a distance because he is worth it. He remembers you and every problem they’ve fixed. I highly recommend him and if you give him a chance you will make a friend like I did. These guys are a joke. Stay away at all costs. They tell you what you want to hear to get you in the door. My engine had hydro locked because a faulty oil change, they said I needed a new engine and it would be at least $10,000.I took it to another mechanic and they fixed the issue for under $500. Beware!!

GO HERE! This is the only place we take our cars to (for years). Truly excellent work and completely trustworthy. They back up their work 100%. My husband is the one that deals with taking the cars in, I just stand by. Sam (the owner) will make you feel as ease, no problem they cant handle. Thats comforting. My c300 needed an oil change and I didn’t want to have to make an appointment or drive out of town to get it done so I went to Star Tech where I didn’t need an appointment and where they specialize in foreign cars . Got my synthetic oil change done in less than an hour. Very happy with the service, very nice, welcoming staff . I recommend anyone who needs their car serviced to visit them .

Before coming here this morning I called the day before to get a price check the guy running the business tells me a fare price on the phone I made sure it was a correct price I come in this morning to be talk to rudely by the dad who claims he’s son gave me the wrong price over the phone now has me paying 2x that...plus When I got here the dad talks on the phone rude I was not going to do business here but since I’m a sitting duck I’ll give them a try . We’ll see

Did a great job on the brakes. Was a previous customer back when Sam had his old location in Rowland Hts. Glad his shop is closer to my house.

Felt like a con game the way the elder gentleman spoke. Wouldnt let me get a word in edge wise.They promised me two things needed repair and that would fix any issues.For the car back and the issue were not fixed. Then they found more issues. The problem is that I told them what all the issues were because I had it checked. They said NO and promised. So, I had to take it back. Now the engine light was on. They promised to fix it with the service they were providing.After calling again days latercause the light came back on, the older guy started with the slick talk. I had to stop him and say sir you already repaired my car. Im not asking you for that. I decided to cut my losses of over $600 and find another shop.

I brought my Toyota Avalon into this shop because of an awful screeching noise it made on start up. The employees and owner were all professional and very nice. I had to leave my car overnight (due to getting to the shop close to closing), and they had all the work done on it the next day. If youre looking for a clean shop with very reasonable prices, I would highly recommend going to Star Tech.

Repaired the suspension and found the clanking noise to be a loose screw or bolt. Always done to my satisfaction and quickly!!!

I’ve been going to Sam for over twenty years! Followed him from other location, he’s honest, not over priced. You can trust him with your car, if you have BMW, he uses BMW parts, Mercedes, Mercedes parts and so on.

Got a new starter in my Honda accord 2004 4 cylinder. Usually not a huge job, but the k24 engine is nested so that the intake manifold has to be removed to access the starter. Took probably half a day of work, and they only charged me $220 for labor and $193 for the part. No issues with the starter since.

Outstanding experience! I hit a rod on the 405 which put a huge hole in my tailpipe and nearly penetrated my gas tank causing me to explode! Robert was the man at Major Muffler who fixed me up and got my car to sound like reasonable automobile rather than a ghetto mobile. It cost a LOT LESS than I was expecting. I will GLADLY go back to this shop anytime I need. Great great experience.

I had just about the perfect visit my first time at Star Tech. My car was making a terrible sound upon start up and I feared the worst. I took my car in to Sam and his team and within 30 minutes they diagnosed that my AC belt was not fastened properly. They fixed my problem free of charge and earned a long time customer!! I am so thankful for Sam and his crew. I broke down in the freeway and after getting a quote from my local BMW dealer Sam quoted me several hundred dollars less. I came in almost one hour before closing and they got to work on my car right away. I asked Sam to do his best since I needed to work early the next day. They came thru and then some. Called to ask about my car and a qoute on my car about a head gasket change due to clogged radiator my head isn’t blown nor cracked other mechanics have checked it out but I tried telling them and they just yelled at me saying I need a new on and then just yelled out high prices do not recommend
