Wait in line to get service at deli. Even with multiple staff members doing other things rather than helping customers

Found what I wanted and super friendly people

Prices are slightly higher but I love my Family Fare store because it is located near my home. The employees are so wonderful and friendly to everyone. I try to shop during the week to avoid people.

Significant decline in customer service compared to previous ownership. Prices mostly unchanged, if not higher. Prices wouldnt bother me as much if the convenience remained intact, but the severe lack of customer service makes this shopping experience pretty terrible.Employees are unfriendly or cold most times. Would rather complain about the job to other employees than take care of their customers, adding delay to the check-out process. Other times there will be lines 8 customers deep. When another employee shows up, they announce theyre going on break instead of opening up another lane.Produce quality has been on the decline since they first opened as well, lasting half the amount of time as other places.

High prices compared to other stores, but decent selection. But the prices are high enough that if I am buying more than two or three items its a cost savings to drive further to town and find Walmart or woodmans instead.

Neat, clean store. Has a nice selection on most items. Is more expensive than other grocery stores.

Great place to do your shopping. Friendly service and good prices. Produce isnt always the best but the deli is fantastic.

They have a new tenderized stew meat! They have three but the one that is pounded is top shelf. Its the first time I made stew where the meat mealted in my mouth!

A little understaffed, but good selection and good workers on staff

Good place to drop off USPS packages. Also the mega sub is good.

Great smaller grocery store. Has all your needs. Good easy in an out. Close to downtown. Big selection of Leinenkugel and Wisconsin cheeses, we went for souvenirs.

Its the only grocery store in Chippewa Falls. Nothing special. But its your only choice.

They really should be embarrassed at the prices they charge. I only go there when I only need a few things.

Bakery has gotten better. Frosted cake doughnuts were very fresh, and very good

Prices suck…I bought 4 items and they cost the same amount I could get at aldis or Walmart for a week of meals. Plus, customer service sucks and cashiers barely even talk to you unless they know you personally. Won’t be shopping here again.

More or less just an eyesore.It lacks the true excitement of walking into Junior High, a great piece of history, which was disposed of to build this place for A&P, now also long gone. For a historical city, it is really nothing more than some ruins.

Its usually a long wait to checkout after work otherwise its usually dead because their products are way overpriced with limited selection. The produce is awful and the the only reason to stop is for the deli because its the only one in town.

Good customer service from employees. Kind of spendy - probably geared their prices at Lake front property owners types of customers. Lol

Wish they would drop the mask requirement already...like pretty much everywhere else now, aside from clinics and medical facilities.

We where in lane 4. Around 1120 today and the check out girl was not friendly at all. Acted like she didnt want to be there. Other wise I enjoy coming to your store. Customer Service is very important. She didnt even say hi. All she said was she could help me at #4. She did say have a good day. No eye contact what so ever. Thank you Sincerely.

Always a pleasant store

Former Gordys the new management has some good deals and products that were not offered before. The prices are like anywhere else, shop around. We all still price compare this day and age and they have a discount card to use which is very helpful as well as app coupons. I have found many great deals here and bargains. As always try for yourself you will be pleasantly surprised.

I dont shop there very often. Went last week as they had a couple of good specials. there were other things on my list I was hoping to get. Well I didnt as the price was way too high. I will drive further for better prices. I feel sorry for the other people that cant do that as they are kind of stuck shopping there. This seems to happen a lot in smaller towns. Too bad about the prices as they have a good variety and the store is clean and not busy the different times I have stopped there.

Store is definitely a lot cleaner than when it was Gordys. I think new flooring and meat deli area would be nice. It’s always more appealing when your in a clean atmosphere while buying food goods. Prices seem a little better than before.

I find this store to be very expensive. I prefer to never shop here if I can. I feel as they are trying to make up their money they list from Gordys by gouging the customers. Very sad to see!

I just pulled 6 bottles of ketchup off the shelf that had expired 4 months ago. It’s a common issue, check the expiration dates on the items.That aside, all the workers are very kind and helpful!

Hallie store is working hard to keep it together. Glad its staying open. Hard to know whats going on but glad to have a grocery store downtown!!! Deli Dept is great. Good food choices all around! Convenient!

A native visitor back to the IGA days. Parking lot is too small and difficult to maneuver our larger family van. Good service, process were fair and the stocking was top notch. I dont have any complaints about the inside of the store.

Today service was very quick. I just needed a couple of items. Ran in and out in about 5 minutes.

Basic grocery store with nothing super special. Items are expensive unless they are in the sales ad-which can meet the regular pricing at walmart lol. The aisles are super narrow so it can be hard to move around. I do like that they have people that will bag the groceries for you. This location has a large parking lot with a mail drop box and a lottery ticket machine. The meat here is pretty good. Overall, its not worth it to come shop here unless you live right next door. There is an ALDI and Walmart in Lake Hallie that are way cheaper.

Prices are sky-high, and they constantly move items around. Dont waste your time getting ripped off.

My 1st time there a girl at the information center was very friendly very helpful went out of her way to help me learn the computer system for the coupons. Then when I was checking out There was a problem with my credit card and the manager spent almost 20 minutes trying to help me Get it sorted out and buy as much food as I could with my credit card with the amount of money left on it. We had to have run the food through the checkout line 5 or 6 times before it finally accepted. I was absolutely embarrassed felt 4 inches tall Because there were several people behind me waiting. In the end the manager even gave me ttwo items that I didnt have the money for to be nice to me. I absolutely love the people that work there. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars Is because the food is expensive there. So I give 10 stars to the people that work there and 2 stars to the grocery store. Thank you to the people that helped me that day

They have food, you may need food. Their prices arent great however but its the only option in the area really for groceries and I think they know that.

Its a grocery store, what can you say? Having worked in one for 14 years it is hard to get excited.

I always look for the managers specials here and they tend to have really good stuff on sale each week too. Look for the free item on Wednesdays 😊

A little more selection than Gordys. I dont see any difference in prices.

Not very welcoming. When you walk in the store the first thing you see is yourself on a big TV screen and it says, YOU ARE BEING RECORDED. Just didnt feel very customer friendly. This isnt Chicago

Gordys Market is a family owned grocery store. The downtown location has been in operation for many years and is a full-service grocery stop. They have a deli, the usual grocery stock, a small flower section and an amazing bakery selection. The biggest drawback is that the store is relatively small and is often out of things Im looking for. Also being a locally owned store means the prices are typically a little higher than the big box stores. Its great if youre close and just need a few quick things.

I shop there a lot. Staff in Chippewa Falls store very helpful and polite. Can get some decent deals with their advertised specials. Senior discounts on Mondays I think.

Every time i go to this place its long waiting lines because they have only had two check outs open.Pricey place as well.

Staff here is hard to find at times, seems like there’s only ever two registers open even when there’s lines. Hot food and deli is decent although a bit pricy compared to going to Walmart or Woodmans.

Very nice customer service and selection and quality of food. I am giving them a lower rating though based on their treatment of employees. With the new Woodmans in the area and knowing that they are employee owned and treat their employees impressively, I would like to see Gordys focus on improving the work environment and pay scale and benefits instead of the expansion weve seen in recent years.

Small grocery store not far from home. They are not open 24/7, but they are open decently late. Not as low priced as I grew used to living next to a Woodmans.
