Where do I even start.... with COVID putting a damper on pretty much EVERYTHING now, it didnt take long to realize it would do the same when we began looking for our new Suburban. After looking at several different dealerships we ended up at Steves Chevrolet in Chowchilla (not in our hometown but they wouldnt honor the Educator Discount and I work for the School District so we went looking elsewhere) and boy am I happy we ended up there! We received exemplary service! Wayne Chapman (no relation to us even though we share the same last name) went above and beyond to provide over the top service to us. He helped us order the perfect Suburban and stayed with us every step of the way with updates and confirmations AND he honored the discount. Due to timing we had to wait a little while but the entire time he stayed in contact. The service we received from Wayne and Steves Chevrolet was amazing to say the least. Amazing people, amazing service and I ended up with an amazing Suburban. I have already spread the word to everyone I know and will continue to do so. If we are ever looking to purchase another vehicle we will definitely choose there.

Alex the service advisor is so nice and prompt. This is my first oil change but Ive had a couple of warranty issues before. They were all handled perfectly. Coming from a technician point of view, this place would seem to have it together. The waiting room is nice and full of amenities. 10/10 would recommend!

My favorite car dealership. Staff are friendly and low key. They dont use high pressure tactics. They have an excellent service dept and provide a free shuttle service.

As on former visits for service, Jared was terrific. Efficient, polite and kind. Noting my cane, asked if I needed a ride and declined as my wife was meeting me across the street at the Save Mart. Received a call a couple hours later to come pick it up.

Brianna was so lovely to work with. She answered all of my questions and when the vehicle I originally inquired about sold she checked incoming stock and their other store to help me find an even better option with everything I wanted in the vehicle. They made the process easy and didn’t try to upsell me and made me feel like they really had my best interest at heart.The service didn’t end there I was having an issue with the app and not getting the correct features. She’s followed up with me along the way and helped me troubleshoot the issue well after my purchase. So happy I found Steve’s Chevrolet!

Great customer service. I decided to take a chance and stop by early morning, to see if I could get my Z71 crew cab truck serviced, without an appointment. The service advisor informed me that it would depend on how the other services went- meaning that it might not get done, but that he would do his best to get it done. Well, he came through and they serviced my truck. They also offer free shuttle service back and forth to your local home. They also have a nice clean waiting room. But most of all, is that all of the employees are very friendly and helpful and they do not try to up sell unnecessary services, they are very honest. I will definitely keep taking my truck back for all of its maintenance needs.

We just bought a certified used vehicle from Steve’s Chevrolet. The buying experience was great. They weren’t pushy on the sale and after we decided to buy the process was very fast and painless. Special thanks to Dave Larson for the great experience. After having the truck for a few days we had a morning not issue with the truck. I bring trucks in for the ranch I work for. The team in Chowchilla have always been great. I dealt with Wayne on the purchase. I’d give him stock numbers of what I wanted. They were already sold so he got on Le for me that was in transit. The whole experience was amazing. When I picked up the truck they treated my daughter the same as they did with me. They were very upfront and open about our options. They had one vehicle on the lot, but it wasnt exactly what we wanted. That was not a problem. We sat down with Wayne and did a build order. We left with a reasonable time frame for delivery, as well as a pretty close out the door price estimate. The vehicle arrived about 3 weeks earlier than expected, and the out the door price was pretty much what we had been told. Thanks to Aracelli for her calls and emails making this purchase happen. I would highly encourage an internal customer data system that ensures that my Portfolio information carries through year to year, update to update, as it is disconcerting when Im initially told its not in the system even though Ive gone to the same dealership for years. For repeat service visits, I dont usually carry my hard copy Portfolio information with me and cant imagine that anyone else does either.

Steve’s service department is always friendly but was recently told they can’t do warranty work on GMC vehicles. I’ve taken my Sierra before but now I’ll have to drive to Merced or Madera.

Today my Wife and I were treated like real people. In the past Ive taken my vehicle in to dealerships and i was never treated like i was today! They treated us as if we were buying a car! We brought our SUV in today for a diagnostic. Quoted over the phone for $125. Not a bad deal to start. After finding a broken motor mount, part and service all covered by the warranty. Even diagnostic fee waved because of drive train warranty! Only a couple hours and wife had her car back all for nothing out of pocket! We were coming through the area and needed some work done on our 2004 Chevy Suburban. Not only were they priced under any local shops, their customer service was exceptional. They realized that the original part that they ordered off of the vehicle vin was incorrect, once they had the vehicle torn apart and had the actual part in their hand. They had a driver bring the needed part from another dealership a few hours away, and stayed after hours to complete the job and get us back out on the road. Their customer waiting room is very nice with complimentary snacks, drinks, coffee, tea, computer station, and a great selection of magazines.
