I waited in the drive through for thirty minutes and the coffee was cold and they said the can remake my coffee but i was running so late from waiting in line i had to go. They did not give me a receipt. I go here every morning and this is not the first time they have givin me cold coffee. Yuck

I got to this Starbucks if it’s my absolute last resort!!! They never fail to make my drink wrong. One time I complained and the lady said I should probably add something to it, I told her this is the only Starbucks that can’t seem to get it right so I probably don’t need to add anything.

Every time I come here these lovely people make my morning a little bit brighter. They’re incredibly kind, polite, and always wish me well on my day even when they’re slammed! There are many places in Christiansburg I could get coffee but this Starbucks is always my first choice because of this team. Thank you!

It is new. The staff does not coordinate things very well. If order couple drinks you do not get them all in a reasonable time. Ordered latte and Frappuccino. It was 12 minutes between drinks. Hopefully they will get better.

Was excited about a brand new Starbucks in Christiansburg...until I visited this location a few times. There is a barista there who cannot be bothered to return a greeting or respond to a, “thank you, have a great day.” I find it unusual to be treated with indifference or even rudeness at Starbucks. The drinks seem fine, but the atmosphere, walking in to pick up a mobile order) has not been welcoming or friendly.

Iv ordered multiple drinks and everyone Iv gotten is not blended or completely dark. Keep in mind I’m getting iced latte’s. I don’t think they know what they are doing. Worst Starbucks Iv been to. It was better before they moved locations at least the drinks were.

Since they changed locations, it has been the most disorganized, slowest mess. I understand a change involves some downtime and slowness - but this long afterwards it shouldn’t. They’re usually out of things. I know the pandemic affects availability of things sometimes, but other local Starbucks manage to have what they don’t. When my daughter ordered a dragonfruit drink they didn’t tell us until we got to the window that they were “out of the thing that makes it purple.” It’s a small thing but that’s part of the fun and love for those drinks. It tasted fine, but looked like tap water with ice. Why wait until people get to the window? Just tell us off the bat. Another time I placed a mobile order for drive-thru - that’s #1 of telling the store my order (a sandwich and a drink). When I pulled up to the speaker, they couldn’t find it and I had to repeat the entire thing (#2). I double checked the app and made sure it was the right store. When I got to the window, they handed me the sandwich and were like “bye.” I had to repeat my drink order again (#3) and they said they were going to work on it right now. I know Starbucks has a system because it works at other locations, so not sure why they’re not following it? And the lines/wait times are ridiculous. Avoiding this Starbucks from now on.

A nice, small location, with a few pleasant seating areas, a clean interior, and an extremely polite staff.An interesting note, this location does not serve any of the packaged foods/boxes. I was told it is too far away from a production facility for it to stay fresh during delivery. First time seeing this, very interesting.Enough of the usual options to make sure you still wont go hungry, but definitely dont expect a lot of healthier options.

If youre looking to get coffee in a reasonable amount of time, please dont go here! Arrived at 2:16pm, got to the window at 2:40, still had to wait for them to correct my drink. Paid for additional stuff in my coffee, they didnt add it because the cup will overflow because the overfilled it, but yet I paid for it! Leaked all over my console and in my cupholders :/Ive came many times thinking it may be the time, staff working, etc... I havent had them get my drink right but once. Only come here bc its the closest drivethru near me, and hoping theyd improve. If you want better Starbucks, the one in Kroger on N Franklin is always great.

This has to be the slowest drive thru ever. I’ve sat in line for easily 30 minutes. Won’t be making that mistake again! As others said once you’re in the line there is no way out! Save yourself the trouble and go to the one in Blacksburg. After the wait time here you’ll still be done faster by going to the Blacksburg location.

Unfortunately they are constantly out of inventory, and the wrap around drive-thru doesn’t allow space to leave it. I’ve been stuck for 20 minutes before. I thought by moving locations their times would improve but I was mistaken. Blacksburg Starbucks it is!

It has been hard to get a hold of the store over the phone. I have questions that could not be answered through the app. The drive thru is not the best set up just do to the location and amount of room the store has for its location. You are unable to get out of the drive thru once you are in it. If the line is slow you are stuck. This would have been a 5 star if not for the trouble getting a hold of the store and the drive thru.

Do not mobile order from this store if you’re trying to get anywhere in a timely manner. Several times now I order ahead and end up waiting twenty-thirty minutes AFTER I get to the store and have already ordered 5 min ahead. While people continuously come in and order at the counter and get their drinks while mint STILL hasn’t been made. I thought the point of mobile order was to avoid the line and get your drunk quicker 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Music is so loud, even at lowest setting, orders cant be properly heard, and is incredibly hard to navigate if youre Autistic. Staff was fabulous happily replaced my misheard order, and gave me the incorrect order as a bonus.

The key is to order through the online app. It makes things much quicker. The inside of the shop is on the smaller side so when its busy you tend to have to stand. The wait inside is hardly ever over 10-15 minutes at the longest. That being said, if you do get a table and plan to stay the environment is cozy and the staff is super friendly!!

I love Starbucks! I have to drink decaf and they are very accommodating in making varied drinks for me so I dont just get plain old decaf coffee. The staff is great and go out of their way to learn your name and know what and how you order.

This is your standard Bucks location. Its not as large as some, but there is outside seating as well as inside. We typically order online and only collect from here. Makes things much quicker!The parking here is a nightmare! There are never enough spaces, and even when there are places to park the road is so narrow! Reversing out is a catastrophe even with a backup camera.There is no drive-thru at this location.

Extremely thoughtful, kind staff--my grandparents visit here every morning and the staff always have their order ready at a table for them (seen in the photo through the glare). My grandma has dementia and so this extra step goes SUCH a long way. I live out of state and it always warms my heart to know that theyre looking out for them. Decent Starbucks and a great place to study. The staff there is relatively quick for the amount of volume they deal with and facilities are extremely clean. I usually just get a blonde roast coffee so I can’t comment on the quality of their drinks but the staff is friendly

The coffee is never consistent and the service is ok... I just moved up here I havent been really impressed with this store... Its extremely slow. Ive just decided to wait until I get to Roanoke and to get my coffee. The stores in Salem and Roanoke are much better and much faster. Ive also been to the Starbucks in NYC... Which are extremely busy and I still get my coffee faster than I do at this store. I will still go to Starbucks because I enjoy there coffee, but just not this one. I think when you pay that much for coffee. Your coffee and service should be consistent.

Its a Starbucks, like many others. Light on seating, but there is outdoor seats if the weather is nice. There is a drive thru, but once you get in line, theres no easy way to get out of line...you can end up stuck for a while (and it seems like theres always a line).

We all know Starbucks. This one is just average. Weve visited a dozen times since it is in a convenient location, but 50% of the time, our simple orders were made wrong. The wait time is usually overly long. Also, the parking lot is narrow and small and dangerous to maneuver an SUV or van around. We now go out of our way to get to another SB.

But when you are so far behind there is no excuse for the management/trainers to not be stepping in and helping to speed things up for the customers. The inability of this venue to consistently produce a uniform flavored coffee is mind blowing. Not sure if this is a training problem or an application failure. The half&half has been empty the past 2 times we have visited, and orders from more recent patrons are consistently prepared before our chronologically senior drinks are even started. Rather frusturating.

There are certain staff that are super friendly and have great energy any time of the day. The coffee that they make is definitely worth the money. But, several times throughout the year, certain employees have made my $5 coffee taste like burnt $1 McDonald’s coffee. I’ve had to ask them to remake it almost every time. Once an employee gave me attitude about it even though I’ve always been polite. I just got my 5th or 6th burnt tasting coffee and noticed when I was too far to turn around. Waste of money. I wouldn’t go anymore but it’s the closest one to the interstate on my way to work.

NEED another corporate location in Christiansburg. I usually use mobile order app but what I wanted wasn’t listed as available. However when I got there in person it was available and had to wait with 48 other people. I counted. I avoid coming in person because it takes almost an hour to get what I ordered. It’s not the staffs fault they do an awesome job and still cheerful and helpful when they are over the maximum occupancy limit. I hope there will be another location in Christiansburg soon, Christiansburg has grown so much over the last 10 years. It needs more than just one corporate location.

Ive been coming to this Starbucks since the day they opened. The team there continues to strive and go out of their way daily to make you happy....and when you pull in the parking lot and the Manager, Kim Tribble brings out your coffee before your can get out of the car, you know this place is EXCEPTIONAL!!!! I went to the store just now. Ordered a coffee and tea. One order was wrong on the specs and the other on the size. To top this I waited for twenty mins straight because the girls working there bumped up their friends who ordered after me. One of them wasn’t even rung up as an order. This is the worst experience at a Starbucks I’ve ever had. I’m a regular at a different store. I’ll be calling customer service. $5 for a wrong late drink is uncool.

Definitely need a drive thru.... I was in there a month ago and waited more than 15 min to get my drink. It was very unorganized. Plus a young man,that was a customer was on his computer playing music loud to were it was annoying.... Also parking is horrible I seen almost 2 car accidents while waiting... I purchased a granda mocha last night around 5:20pm. About the 3rd time i picked up the cup to take a drink it just collapsed d in my hand causing the mocha to spill all over me and my car! no, i did not use too much force when picking up,. it just folded! I had to be at work in 30 minutes so it was a race to run home and change clothes to get to the job on time. My husband had to clean up my car in the dark due to i have an appointment this morning to have it worked on. I was very disappointed in this! And i asked for an extra pump of chocolate but the drink was watery and tasteless....for the price of Starbucks the quality has tumbled...very disappointed....C in Cburg

I dont generally like to give reviews, so only do it when something was exceptionally good, or in this case bad. I went to this Starbucks with my daughter on our way home, and was left sitting waiting for food that never arrived. When we asked about it, the waitress glibly replied that they were out of what we had ordered. No apology. We left and went to Applebees and had the best waiter ever.
