I was working on my M4 and lost a detent pin. These guys are great to deal with. The part i needed immediately, they had and the person who talked to on the phone said we have one for you come on over. When i arrived the person i spoke to had two of the pins in a small zip lock bag, that i purchased at a reasonably low price. I apologize that i dont remember the persons name, but he was very helpful and very professional. you guys are life savers thanks . I was going to the desert the next day with some buddies to test and adjust some new sights. Before i found this shop I called around and no one had one. I know this is a really small part and may be insignificant, but these guys really go the extra mile. I really appreciate the great customer service, and definitely will call these guys first on the next firearm purchase. Thanks again.

FPC is in my opinion, the best in San Diego for customer service, quality gunsmithing, and firearms information. I came to them for my first time gun purchase, and they helped me with the whole process, and even helped me a second time. They also did the custom work on my wifes new 1911, which came out amazing. Dominic, Jordan, Zach and TJ are the best at what they do. I highly recommend this place for all your gunsmithing and firearms needs.

Took my gun here to be shipped back to Ruger. Ruger replaced the gun and sent it back with a new serial number and I have to get another background check. This is not the issue.... They are so inefficient with their scheduling, I now have wait another week before even being able to do the simple background paperwork. Extremely slow process and didn’t make any effort to expedite things. I had* a hunting trip coming up and I will no longer be able to do that. They also never called to tell me the gun arrived back in there possession like they said they would. Now I’m not getting my gun back for a minimum of 17 extra days (background check excluded)

Had a great experience fixing the cycling malfunction on my AR 15. Great friendly and knowledgeable staff, would highly recommend to anyone.

After deciding to have a sight mount installed on my firearm, I emailed Firearms Performance Center in order to receive a quote or estimate. I specified what sight it was, and even included a link containing the installation instructions for the sight mount. They promptly responded that the install was no problem, and that it would cost $40, and that if I dropped it off at the beginning of the day it would be ready by days end. With this information, I then ordered the sight mount; I had not ordered it beforehand, because I wanted to be sure that I would be able to get it installed for a decent price. Upon delivery of the sight mount, I went over to FPC with the mount and my firearm. When there, the person who greeted me took a look at it as well as my firearm, and reduced the quote to $20, and explained that because they were backed up at the moment, it could take several days instead of that same day. I was fine with this, and left the store. No more than ten minutes after I had gotten back home, I got a call from them that it would actually cost $120, and would take up to a month. They had, apparently, completely neglected to read the instructions included with my initial email to them, and hadnt realized that a hole would need to be drilled and tapped. I went back to the store to talk to them, and interacted with two people. One, the gunsmith that was handling the order, was apologetic and professional. The other, the same man who I had interacted with when dropping off my firearm, was much less so. At the end of the day, I have lost money in multiple ways. I will have to return the sight that I ordered, and not only lose the shipping I paid in the first place, but also pay return shipping, despite the fact that I ordered it after receiving confirmation that they would be able to install it. They were also not willing to at least reimburse me for the initial and return shipping. I should have heeded the 1 star reviews below, but I did not. Avoid doing business of any kind with them at all costs; not only did they not bother to read the email I sent them before quoting, but they were also incredibly rude and unprofessional, save for the one gunsmith that explained why he wasnt able to do the work.

This place is legit .. i recommend to all gun enthusiasts.. theyre very knowledgeable when it comes to fire arms and not to mention the prices are even better !

Best customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Having a wife who is afraid of guns come out comfortable about us finally owning one is really amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone experience and inexperienced.

Do not deal with this store!!! I was promised ammo the next day, went to pick it up and they said it didn’t come in as promised so I gave them 4 days for it to get in. Called to see if it was in and the owner of the store started to say I was yelling on the phone at him when I was asking why I had to do the whole process again. They said they lost my paperwork. He then proceeded to hang up on me. I V went down in person to resubmit everything and the owner came out of the back like an animal upset because they made mistakes. I had never seen anything like this before. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS

Called one day about a firearm repair and was quoted with a great personality and was asked to come in the next day. Luckily I called before I left the house the next day. Different man answered the phone (with a bad attitude) and proceeded to explain to me de did NOT do the work thepiece that was quoted the day prior. In addition pawned me off to another place.
