I picked up my prescription from kroger today. My Rx is $12. I hand the pharmacist a ten and a five. They spent 10 minutes trying to load $3 onto a Kroger card after they realized they didnt have cash in ANY of the pharmacy drawers. Why is there no money in any of the pharmacy registers? At one point someone mentioned going to get cash. The best the pharmacist could do, to my shock, was an I OWE YOU . No, I did not get a receipt when I asked for one. I have no idea if their drawer was over at the end day or what happened to the money. Its only $3, no sweat off my back. My biggest concern is the pharmacy handing out I OWE YOUS to customers instead of change. Im not the only cash paying customer. I called later to try to understand what happened. The manager explained it is common practice for the registers to be empty. Why did the pharmacist accept my cash payment if its common to not have cash in their registers? The manager replied, Its a whole thing with Kroger. Why did I not get a receipt? No paper. I asked what happens at the end of the shift when they need to count the drawer, if the register is over or under? The manager explained they dont count the drawers personally. Shop this Kroger pharmacy if you enjoy your Rx with a side of money laundering.Update: the pharmacy called back after I wrote this review to say they have a note in my account to credit the $3. Though I appreciate the gesture, this fails to resolve the bigger issue. Instead of giving me $3, I would rather they introduce better business practice by starting each shift with at least one counted register before opening for the day. These drawers should also be counted at the end of someones shift. Ultimately, try to avoid putting the pharmacists in a position where they have no other choice but to give the customer an I OWE YOU instead of their change or reciept. Until then, Ive called my family doctor to move my future prescriptions to a different pharmacy.
Store riding carts never charged up over night. Carts dont make it half way through the store. This is at 7am 🥴 Kroger night manager should do better. Carts are lined up sometimes but not plugged in !!!!!
Generally laid out like superKroger in Anderson Township but store is smaller. But this store also has some clothes and home goods.
Dont shop in the evenings. Checkout lines are incredibly long, waited almost 30 minutes today. They close one of the self checkout areas in the evenings and only have two registers open, it is one of the busiest times as well with people coming after the gym/work. Its insane. Also they are frequently out of stock of many items. Its always a crapshoot if you are going to be able to get everything on your list or not. I try going different days, but it seems to always be like this, very understaffed. If it were open later like it used to be that would help. I go Aldi whenever I can now, or drive a few extra minutes to go to the Hyde Park Kroger. Oakley Kroger SUCKS!
Look, WE ALL KNOW WHY WE GO TO THIS ONE. Lets just keep It classy.
Came into this Kroger on 09/29/2021 to do a bit of shopping. I noticed how short staffed they are seeing how long the lines were. I could see a lady with a name tag on a red lanyard and identified her Marlana, the Customer Service Manager (CSM).I noticed that she was NOT wearing her mask correctly while their is a pandemic happening. Another thing I noticied about her is that she was EXTREMELY condescending, rude, and disrespectful to both staff and customers in the way (tone, pitch, etc.) she talked to them. I overheard her yelling at the Armed Security Guard, yet he was minding his own business. Then I noticied her talking to a few other customers and employees. Let’s just say that if I had an employee talk to my customers or employees like that, she would be fired!I will NOT return to this store to do my shopping!
Food court is suck. Several times my stomach was sick and today, I found a bug at the chicken salad sandwich. Hygiene level must’ve been pretty low. I am never gonna use it.
Its a decent place; Sometimes the employees can be nasty and rude, Other times they can be peppy and actually happy to be there. Its a 50/50, hopefully you get the good side
Very nice krogers. Its well stopped and kept clean. And the staff can be helpful and friendly.
This Kroger is great but the staff is really hit or miss on terms of friendliness. I had a Kroger employee behind me checking out whom I had to stop her loading groceries with mine on the belt. Really odd and rude behavior. All the front end people were carrying conversations with other employees and not addressing customers at all. They need a night manager who understands customer satisfaction in my opinion. P
We had a nice shopping trip..from clothes and blankets to groceries. The store was busy but still seemed clean and well stocked . We ate there, which was nice and saved time. I got a wrap sandwich and my husband got a sub sandwich. Both were a good value for the cost. Most employees were very friendly.
Came into the store on 8/29/21 at 830 p.m to pick up a couple of items. When i went to check out there were only two cashiers and at least 20 people in each line. I kept walking farther, and farther to the back of the line until I realized that the line was still continuing back into the aisles. I gave up, went home, and ate cereal for dinner. Krogers must be really short on workers becuase when i worked at Krogers, if we were short, the manager would get on a registar, and call people from different departments to get on a registar. I guess everyone, including the night stockers were on their off days.
First, even though I only give it 2 stars, I like the store. People are friendly enough and it is well supplied in general. I can almost always find what I need there. But during the pandemic I was using the drive-up pickup service and it was just horrible in terms of quality control. At least twice part of my order ended up in someone elses car. At other times I received items that belonged to someone else. If you engaged with people to correct these problems it could literally take HOURS and multiple trips. So I gave up and went to Blue Ashs Kroger instead. They are generally quite good about getting the order right (not that they are perfect). When I return to normal visits in store I will go back to Oakley Kroger. But I will not use their pick-up service. I learned the hard way not to trust it. Now I havent used the Oakley for picking up orders for almost nine or ten months. Maybe they have gotten some quality control in their operation by now, but - frankly - I doubt it. What struck me was that folks doing this work really didnt try too hard to get orders right. I hope, for their sake, they are better now.
In the wine department a sign is displayed that you receive a 10% Discount on 6 or more bottles of wine purchased (mix & match). But, when trying to purchase 8 bottles of wine I was refused the discount on the 2 additional bottles of wine because it wasnt a multiple of 6 bottles????? This is insane and stupid.
Terrible customer service. I have been using the grocery pick up for a couple months now and constantly have random issues. The main problem Ive ran into is that the workers mark items as unavailable, and Ive walked into the store to find the item still on the shelf. They have been having staffing issues recently also. One evening I parked to pick up my order and waited 2 hours only to be told that I had to come back the following day. One thing they did compromise on was giving me my baby food for free, but that doesnt help my older children. My final draw was today. I pulled in and a new worker asked if my name was Melanie, I explained, and they found the correct customer. The worker came back, verified who I was and took my ebt card and debit card. The worker returned and informed me that they put my pin in wrong so many times that it blocked the card. The worker told me to call the number on the back of the card to get it reversed. The ebt company informed me that once a lock is in place, there are no measures that will unlock it for 24 hours to prevent fraud. I then call the assistant manager who asked if I could come back tomorrow evening, I explain that I cant, and she very reluctantly offers me $20 off of my order and theyll hold it until tomorrow. I was informed to contact a female manager to speak to a GM. At this point I need to leave because Ive been waiting for groceries that Ill not receive. On the way home I called and asked for the GM. A younger man picks up the phone and says he is the manager. After explaining my situation, he asks if I can call the card company or wait until tomorrow to pick up my order. At the end of the conversation, he offers me $30 off of the order, and says if I could come back and pick up $30 worth of groceries, I could take it home and pick up the rest when my card is unlocked. When I got home, I called Krogers corporate number and left a complaint. No customer should have their only means of paying for groceries blocked, and then be told that they cannot be compensated. I now have zero groceries until tomorrow evening at the earliest and have to cancel a very important trip out of town to pick up my food that should have been in my fridge at this point.
I love having this here! I think Kroger is so much better than Walmart and food is fresh with friendly people. Cant beat the other shopping available.
Kroger Marketplace is always fully stocked with the very best fresh fruit! I love this Kroger!!
Self checkout lines are backed up halfway through the store. No employees working.
I miss this store being 24/7 but they always have what I need. You can get some great cardio in here
Worst Kroger in the whole Tri-State!!!I waited for almost an hour for my clicklist order! Other people arriving after me came and went. Even called the store to check on the order but clearly that did not help. I wish I could say this was the first time this has happened but its not.
Reading these reviews you notice all of the lower reviews are pickup orders.. people who unfortunately physically cannot, can’t walk into a store because they’re too tired or lazy, don’t feel like being around people from being too pretentious, and others who look for anything to complain about. I’ve been visiting this location since the day they opened and absolutely love it. I have had full time jobs, my 6 year olds day care an hour away, visit at 9am, or 9pm beyond exhausted but always was able to find anything and everything I was looking for. I understand some people are unable to park a little further away to walk a cart around and get what they need themselves but these click list workers work their booties off. Every one I pass filling orders is pushing a giant cart around and noticeably look for the best quality product, in a good mood and work to their highest potential. Veggies are always fresh, the seafood, meat counter are always beyond amazing with great recommendations..I always get salmon or shrimp with the buffalo seasoning and was just introduced to the Asian one.. yum!! I could go on and on. The bar always has great drafts and a great selection to choose from. Especially Jay, Stan, Tom and John. I’ll visit kroger and not even getting a beer I still love to see their smiling faces. Stanley is also great, always helpful if I’m looking for something I couldn’t find. Jennifer usually at self checkout is so sweet and so personable, she definitely knows how to make you smile. On top of the best quality food and options, my fav 5/3 bank is there, def visit Ana. She is astounding at her job and always makes sure her customers are satisfied and wants the best for us all. The store is always very clean, perfectly stocked, very convenient if you’re in a hurry and has a great location. The security there couldn’t even improve, so nice, were always covid friendly, especially Zach. Thank you to my fav Krog, I go at least 3-5 times a week not only for the perfect food but I like the positivity which is rare for a grocery store!
Very pleasant experience with the customer service here! I love how they introduce themselves and Ty the customer service manager was so nice
The fried chicken is delicious 😋and Kroger has a great wine selection💜
I will never do kroger pickup here again. Not only was the staff moving at snail-like speed. The line of cars was 45 minutes long to even get into a spot to check in. Why do they let this many people schedule for that time if they can’t handle that many cards outside?!?
Usually it’s a nice store. Stocked pretty well. Customer service is never prepared in the morning. How is it that you know the store is gonna be busy pretty much all day but you don’t have the cashiers there in the morning. Again it’s never. Especially during the winter season. I understand hours and all but this store has got to pull in 1.5-3 million a week. 30 registers and no body working them. Stop being cheap. CEOs made a killing during the pandemic. Schedule your workers to meet the needs of the customers. And to top it all off the cashier gets mad because I didn’t want my juices in the same bag as my yogurt cups. In the past cashiers have done that and the yogurts break. I thought that was common sense somewhere in the world. Terrible attitude and wack service.
Ridiculously slow and 90 percent of cash registers closed .. horrible customer service
Loved the produce here
This Kroger location used to be very nice when it first opened. But now it is the nightmare. Specifically the click list area. Several occasions now I have dealt with incompetent workers who are merely children who simply do not care about anything. They’re listening to AirPods the whole time so you can’t communicate with them. They put your groceries in the back of your car and they just throw them in there. Everything smashed, everything is broken, things are not even in bags. They laundry soap on top of your produce. These things that make no sense to anybody who has ever been trained properly. Wish I could give zero stars.
I always look forward to shop at Kroger. It has the best food, beer, and wine selections. And their service is excellent. Maybe thats why it is the best grocery store in the country! Highly-recommended !!!
Today I spent 2 hours parked in spot 15 to pick up my order that was confirmed for pick up between 2-3pm. Right after I arrived an associate told me my order wasnt quite ready and that I could run errands if I wanted to. I declined and proceeded to wait. Only after calling the number at almost 4pm were my things brought out. I was missing the most important item and it hadnt been indicated that they were out of stock on my order summary. The young lady was nice enough, but seriously, Kroger?!
Grocery pickup is horrible... wait a hour out in my car. then they come out out and tell me i could come back in 30 mins if i wanted. its just a piss poor system. wont be using the pick up anymore.
The largest and nicest Kroger I have ever been to!
I do not recommend this Kroger, the click list is a joke, half the time you wait 20 mins or more, or they dont get whats on your list. Dont even think of going to the bathroom here they are disgusting, not sure who the store manager is but wow he doesnt have to be good at his job, whish I had that luxury.
Do they slip prozac into every employees drink? If not, then they are probably being threatened to be nice. Either way, Im ok with it. Friendliest Kroger I have been to. Clean, very few outs, all fresh served foods available.
Went looking for gloves (not plastic, regular warm gloves) didnt find any, but doesnt mean they werent there. Yet an employee said, I dont think so. Got other things worth.the trip.
Friendly employees each time that Ive done clicklist and this location always has my items !
Customers and employees openly not wearing masks during a pandemic
Long wait at the deli, long wait to check out. Not enough employees.
The first time I did grocery pickup from here I waited for 6 minutes and I was extremely pleased. This time I have been waiting for over an hour and am still waiting while writing this. If you can’t offer grocery pick-up at a high level of service consistently, don’t offer it at all. Also, the employees walk out very sluggish and unmotivated as well, not helping the situation. I should’ve shopped in-store today.
Very happy with the customer experience in the beer/ wine section. The gentleman asked if he could help with anything and I asked if they had any Hefeweizen beer. Not only did he know exactly where it was but was knowledgeable on the different types at the store. Very impressed and thankful I asked for the help!
Love this place!
For one thing you could spend time in there just looking at all the different types of meats and cheeses that are in the deli area. They do have a Star Bucks in the store. The deli also has 3 types of cheeses and meats to choose from, you have Boars Head, Private Selection, and Kroger Plus at this Kroger you can buy clothes, small kitchen appliances. This store is the best Krogers I have ever been to.
Big. Really big.
I originally entered the store in the hopes of finding some free Friday products that had recently been out of stock. I asked Robert about the items and he took the time to check the back and upon seeing it was still out of stock, he offered an alternative. I was highly satisfied with this interaction. He went above and beyond to make sure I got what I came for!My interaction at the seafood counter wasnt unpleasant, I just felt as if the employee felt put out when I asked for my crab legs. Perhaps I had my service bar set high after my interaction with Robert, but it seemed as if the employee barely acknowledged me then just mumbled for me to have a nice day while he was already walking away. I will say, this is not the norm at this store. I typically have such a pleasant experience. For those who havent been, this store is HUGE! It has everything from fresh produce and seafood to fine jewelry and clothing. I especially love the bar! Who wouldnt like a nice glass of wine as they grocery shop?
Set an appointment the day before for the little clinic for 3:35pm it’s 4:16pm and I still haven’t gotten to my appt yet on top of that the receptionist let someone who didn’t even have an appt set go before me. Really unsatisfied with this Kroger and little clinic and also to the patients who come here please get control of your kids and stop letting them run all over the store like mad men.
Fine. But please update your operating hours to the correct hours.
Seriously? 9:15 and there’s no cashiers, only self checkout and lines halfway back the store.Pay your cashiers enough to hang around past close or watch your customers skip the checkout line and get their groceries delivered to the home from Amazon. They won’t be back.
Oakley is fortunate to have this new Kroger; the one in Hyde Park is dark and needs updating. This Kroger, however, is bright, easy to navigate, and has clean, wide aisles (and plenty of parking available outside). Sundays tend to be pretty busy--especially in the fruit/veg area and deli. One thing I like is that there are self-checkout lanes at both entrances, though the one by the customer service counter tends to have a line fairly often. There are also 15 items or less checkouts available. The Kroger employees are very nice here!Need a coffee or want a snack (or lunch or dinner)? You can go to Starbucks and order food--sushi, BBQ, sandwiches, etc.--near the deli. Need clothes or household decor items? You can buy those here, too.As long as you have a list before you go in, you can get in and out rather quick; if not, you may get sucked in by all it has to offer and may spend more time than you planned. ;)
We have been into this store to visit the pharmacy multiple times to fill a prescription for one of our dogs. The medicine is a controlled substance and it is hard to find places to fill it in the quantity we need. Unfortunately, ever time we come here we have a worse experience than the time before. In the last three visits that I can recall, we have been quoted inaccurate pick up times by techs, we have been told our prescription was ready when it wasnt over and over again, we have wasted countless hours waiting in line and sitting around for prescriptions that will never be filled because the medicine isnt even there, etc. This isnt even the most frustrating thing to me, although it is EXTREMELY frustrating. There is no accountability and no one there will take responsibility for anything. I have pointed out the techs in the past few visits who gave me the faulty information and the person I am talking to wont even go speak to them about the incident. The past two times, I have watched the tech walk back and forth over and over again to the pharmacist to ask questions because they dont care enough to just come talk to me themselves. There isnt even a hint of empathy or a apology to be found with these associates. I understand it might not be their fault directly, but there is obviously some break down with this team and they could at least act like they care. When I asked the tech tonight, Jordan, who I could issue a formal complaint with, the pharmacist, Allen, who was a few feet behind him didnt even look at me. Jordan didnt know and had to ask someone else who said that I could call your 1-800 number without even stopping again to acknowledge me. I called the number and stayed on hold the entire drive home and no one ever picked up. As someone who has worked in management for big box retail for over years, I cant imagine ever being in this situation and not trying to at least intervene and apologize. Pathetic. The worst part? I have to go back again tomorrow to try and get this medicine that my dog desperately needs and hope that it will be there while I wait in line and waste my time again.Once this is done, we will travel as far as we need to never come back to this or any Kroger in the future. Im sure no one will read this or care, so we are left to speak through our wallet. My advice to anyone thinking about using this pharmacy, is to look elsewhere. It will save you a lot of time and frustration.
Great grocery store. Its very nice. They have it all. This Kroger has become the grocery we shop at the most.
Thia particular Kroger is one of the best ones Ive been to. Its not overly crowded like the one in Newport and because of the part of town its located in, I feel safe. Although its a little bit of a drive and traffic is sometimes a problem, its worth it because of how well stocked it is and the freshness of the produce. The parking is almost always full but youll find a spot towards to back. As this area continues to grow, I hope this Kroger can maintain this standard.
Overall I enjoy how big this location is. Never have problems when I come here. Only down side is sometimes they only have 1 self checkout open and there will be a line of 15+ people waiting. Never seen a store let this happen before. Kinda rude to your customers. Shouldn’t have to start a line of people like that. It’s unheard of.
A nice upscale grocery store with a modern feel. I go all the time and can find the typical items available at all Krogers. The only difference is the emphasis on local product options which I think is amazing! I love the layout of the store. Very open with wide aisles to walk through. Great store and much needed.
Im very upset because they double charged me for my groceries that I purchased on Saturday. I returned to the store to inform they of the incident, the Customer Service Manager, Kayla told me it was nothing could be done. My response to her was that I will be contacting my bank and corporate office on Monday. Please be aware and watch very closely when using your credit card at Krogers in Oakley.
Pickup was over 90 minutes late. Recommend buying your own groceries here.
Nice store
I am giving 2 stars because it’s very convenient to be able to use the drive thru for pick up on medications and because of the hours, but the staff that answer the phone calls are very rude and seem like your a bother that your calling. I feel that as a pharmacy tech you should be more understanding and professional!
On 8/23/19 @ 1:30pm I stepped in line at the customer service desk, there were 5 people ahead of me and only one employee at the desk. I stood in ljne for 25 minutes waiting. By the time i was able to talk to the employee there were 9 people now waiting behind me. While in line I phoned the store and spoke with a man explaining the situation, no additional help was sent to the desk. Very poor service, this is one Kroger I will not shop again.
Why are the bathrooms always gross here?Never enough check out lanes open including the self checkout. They have 2 on both sides and one closed with a line. I guess they need a help wanted sign. Hard to get fired with the union so I guess they dont care
Not taking coronavirus seriously at this store. Bathroom absolutely disgusting! They dont seem to clean the freezer section. Whats the point in the mask when nothing is clean. I wouldnt go in here until they start taking cleanliness seriously
Ive been going here from time to time since it opened. The store is great if you want more variety or selection. I also love the cafe and used to go here frequently for work lunches. I highly recommend it, especially if you work nearby and need something good during lunch. Its also great for filling up on gas. However, traffic is a nightmare, so I recommend entering from the far side near the movie theater.
Always have a great experience in your facility, but I would really appreciate it if you would incorporate an isle dedicated to Hula Hooping. I would feel more comfortable being able to obtain all the necessary chalk, gear, and clothing to pursue my passion without driving almost 2 hours. I think it could also help bring the freeing experience of hula hooping to people who would never have the chance.
I had recent foot surgery and am in crutches. Both electric carts at one entrance was dead so I walked the entire store with crutches and a cart. At the prepared foods case an employee asked me to move so she could put away sandwiches. Again I am on crutches!I love this location and usually have great experiences. Now seeing a different perspective I just ask that people be more aware and courteous to others. ESP those who have a special need.
Amazing grocery store. Clean, organized, friendly employees. So many different offerings. Love the added perks such as the jewelry store, bank, bar, Starbucks, etc. One thing I would change: ITS TOO CROWDED. Try not to go during popular shopping hours.
Grab a beer and then get to shopping. I dont know how I lived until now.Really good bakery, great meats, great deli...Would love to see more options in produce. What they have is of good quality, but I expected a much wider selection.
Tristan and Cecelia are the managers here and both are extremely pleasant when I come in!!! Paige and Amira in the evenings know my order and never fail to talk to me about my day before I go home, I go out of my way to come here rather than the drive thru just for the experience.
I love shopping here. Great location and parking lot. The isles are nice and wide. Outside and inside easy to navigate Even when there are lots of people, never feel crowded. Great selection of everything. Helps me save on gas with fuel points.
Always fast & friendly service! Plus a great selection!
I have always have the best of service at this Krogers. Today while the person was doing their best to help a customer to understand how it was not policy, but he would do it fir him. And the customer was not listening and still arguing, Ryan looked like he was clocking out, stopped to help me with lottery. The machine was not working again and he apologize as if it was his fault. He got me and the others moving in the line. I have seen him jump on the register and help people with their carts. He is a great employee and I want it to be known!!! Thanks again Ryan for all you do !!
Mikaylin (Im so sorry if I spelled it wrong!) Was wonderful and extremely sweet and got my groceries in my vehicle quickly. Thank you!
They satisfied my primary pet peeve and had a sufficient number of registers open so there was no real waiting in line for no reason. Well stocked store and u can find what Im looking for pretty easily.Im not sure who heads to Kroger for jewelry and clothes so that seems like wasted space, but it doesnt seem to detract from the regular stock. The family and fuel efficient parking is kind of a joke but I guess their heart is in the right place.
Best Kroger ever on Marburg. It is a small city inside with many items not regularly found at the local Kroger grocery store. The have clothing, furniture, sushi, and deli foods. The bakery is bigger. The stock Dr. Beginners Peppermint hemp Castillo soap, electric tooth brushes and jewelry.
Theres good and bad. Lots of specialty sections, baby, furniture, clothes, decor, a Starbucks, sushi, cheese bar and hot food line, and wine to drink while you shop. But its almost to big and the selection of its doesnt seem much better for the grocery items. Lastly, they are frequently out of certain items that must be very popular with the shoppers in Oakley area. Maybe that will continue to get better since its still a newer store?
The employees are always friendly. Im disable I have a hard time walking, but they always have rider cart charge & ready to go. The store is always clean & stock, you can anything you looking for.
Scheduled a 5-6 curbside pick-up on May 16th. Waited until 8:15 before leaving. Told that waiting for one dry item then waiting for one cold item then we lost an entire tote of yours. I indicated I needed to leave, and the manager called my on my return home and promised that Kroger would have my order ready 100% the next morning. I called on Sunday, order misplaced, and promised a manager would call me back. No manager called, and I have been billed for over $200 worth of groceries that I never picked up and Kroger acknowledged an issue on their side. I really appreciate all that the front liners at Krogers are doing durng these trying times, while this overall was a bad experience, and I am still out over $200 and dread trying to resolve this issue now...Day 10 of Instagate. I was pointed to the corporate website by the store manager. Kroger Corporate customer service has assured a refund in 19 days. 🤞🤞
I love going to this Kroger because its huge! They carry a large assortment of products & also different & new brands of products. They carry clothing items too & if you look hard enough, you can find deals all over the place. The Kroger brands of products are the ones that pleasantly surprise you with their lower cost, but still comparatively high quality.
This store is well-stocked and well-kept. The only thing the bothers me is that the associates checking IDs for alcohol purchases can be extremely and frustratingly slow at times.
Best Kroger in the world. I love this place!!! You can get nice clothes and nice house stuff and use your Kroger card and its so nice, neat and new, bright, beautiful and organized. Its one of my favorite places to shop.
How is it possible that a store this big NEVER has what I need? Last week they didnt have cucumbers. Time and time again they dont have their own homestyle orange juice. They have also gotten in the habit of replacing name brand items with Kroger brand goods that dont compare to the original. I feel as though its not worth my frustration to continue shopping here for fuel points. Also, fighting for parking spaces with Crossroads doesnt help.
The Marketplace is excellent, the Murrys cheese counter and prepared foods are definite wins. The grocery feels too big and you can get lost there for hours. Love the amenities, but prefer smaller format stores. They have everything you could need though. Go prepared to spend time shopping.
This is my new favorite everyday store. Good selection, acceptable prices generally, and very friendly and helpful staff. Bow Id they could just stop reorganizing produce in the produce department...
I think its one of the best Krogers in this area. Its a lot less congested as the Hyde Park Location. Normally you get out pretty fast and they always have great sales on the clothes.
This is the newer Marketplace Kroger. How many times can you go into Kroger buy some jewelry, do your banking, see a doctor, buy some clothes and relax at the bar with a beer or a nice glass of wine? While youre at it you can grab some fresh made sushi or have a sandwich made. How did I grocery shop for years with none of these perks?
Robert in the meat department was too kind. We came specifically for the amazing spinach & feta turkey burgers but the person in front of us ordered the last 2. He said if we had more shopping to do come back after, hed make us some when he was a little less busy. Came back and he had them all packaged up for us. Totally made our day!! Thanks Robert for the excellent customer service!!
Good Kroger but how you all saying it’s 24 hours when they only open till 1am. Past that it’s big and has it’s own pizza and chicken and burrito place in it. Plus you can buy shoes up in this one and shower curtains.
Best Kroger I have ever been to. Best deals in any grocery store, and its just different than any other. Highly recommended!
I really like shopping at the Kroger Marketplace in Oakley. The aisles are wide and easy to navigate. Plenty of employees when I had a question.I am still learning where everything is located. Sale items are easy to find and usually in stock. I have had problems with sale items being in stock at the Norwood location in the past.
I love Kroger. Ive worked for the company in the past, I have family that still does. Kroger as a company really seems to believe in their business model that states that putting the customers needs first is of benefit to them. This store is a great example of that, having as wider selection than most, and constantly adapting to what sells so as to best provide for the needs of the community.Like any Kroger, though, it is always crowded during daylight hours, and there are some areas where things could probably be spaces out more. Still, this is the best grocery around for sure.
Check out the wine bar if you have not. Usually has very knowledgeable staff to help with tastings. Also you can buy a bottle, have them open it, then drink while you shop. Excellent for a date night, split a bottle, shop for dinner, go home and make the dinner together.
This new store is awesome. It has many many choices and brands for every product. Great place to shop. You can spend a day in the marketplace shopping if you dont watch your time.
Okay, this place is so huge it even has its own wine bar inside... like, COME ON! Cincinnati is LIT apparently! Haha.Fantastic range of products from beauty to home to food and everything is relatively easy to find considering how ginormous this store is. Really enjoy shopping here, which is saying a lot considering how much I detest grocery shopping usually!
Very nice, new marketplace! Store is well maintained and stocked. Most importantly, they usually have enough open checkout lanes to expedite the process when things get busy.Only downside is that they dont display their Free Friday Coupon items and they are usually difficult to locate, and when you finally do, its generally out of stock.
Today I visited the Kroger’s in Oakley with my two young children, It’s about 30 degrees outside literally freezing 🥶 but on the way out with a cart full of groceries I was greeted by Mr.Pete and employee of your store, Mr.Pete asked for me and my children to get in the car while he loads our groceries... THANKS AGAIN Mr.Pete!
