I started shopping here when they opened I loved it, the workers were very nice and helpful and I went there almost every day for something but the nice ones are gone now and two of the workers are extremely rude and i will no longer shop here - sad. And corporate said i would get a call but of course nothing happened.

The people working there were fine as well as the products on the shelf. My visit would have been a lot better if I didnt forget my wallet at home.

I shopped at Big lots at least once a week, love the store. Theres just one major problem, time after time there clearance items ring up full price! When I get home I look at my receipt have have been overcharged. There food items on clearance only have a few days fresh left, thats why there on sale.

Garbage merchandise priced far above a dollar. Rip off store. Go to Dollar Tree.

They have everything I want its really cheap and I want to go there tomorrow thanks for reminding me Dollar General is the coolest simplest place to get something simple things and its not expensive and they got pretty much everything you need thats on the go or better than nothing Dollar General is a bargain store and it is a cheap place to get good stuff food everything I love Dollar General with all my heart and I shopped there many times before and not one time was I ever treated with class

The store itself is nice. Shelves are stocked and prices are reasonable. The reason for the 4 stars is due to the fact that if you go onto the website it shows they have items in stock but once you get to the store those items are not in stock. I suggest updating the inventory online more often.

I like to shop this little store they always have something I need, last year I needed a xmas tree at the last minute and I got one and all the decorations right at Dollar General, I used the same tree again this year 😊🎄

I visited Dollar General in Citrus Heights CA while visiting my son, because I tried some cookies and cream like crumb crunch donuts and I just had to have some before returning to Roseburg OR. Not knowing for sure if we had them at home I bought all 5 bags that they had 😆😂😆😂. While in the store I got a bunch of other meet stuff that they had that I forgot we didnt have room for in the 🚗.

Took almost two months to stock products their website said was in stock. Was told by an employee not to go by what the website says because its never right. I was looking for a specific in-store only Christmas item and visited two times a week for two months to be told its not stocked yet. Ichecked their website two days after visiting and then it said limited stock so I went and checked - sold out. 🤬

They follow everyone around the store like you are a thief and it upsets me and my wife. We are honest Christians.

I love this place. Im in there nearly every day because they have basic household products I need at an affordable price.The staff is always friendly and helpful and there is no wait when checking out.The name may be misleading to some, as it is not just a dollar store. They do have items for a dollar but most items are more than a dollar but affordability is great!

They are somewhat pricey for being a dollar store but they have a good selection. I would have given them more stars but they dont keep up on the inventory of items that fast sell right now like fake nails and beauty products. They have been out for about a month now and they said the get there order every tuesday so they have not been ordering the items people seem to want right now.

I actually found a certain item for a child for Christmas that I couldnt find at any, any other store. It was a great surprise for her.

Not what I expected from a dollar general. Quite large, like a moderate grocery store with a dollar general attached. Relatively clean. Quality liquor cabinet.

The location is a little older and out of shape. A good amount of homeless, although still a safe place. There are a lot of wonderful deals.

Good value on most things. But price isnt everything. You need to make sure you are getting fair amount for your buck. Sometimes better to spend a little more but get a lot more.

Smaller store but awesome for quick trips instead of the long lines and packed walmart in the area.. has almost everything you need from clothes/ hygiene products to bathroom/house decor cleaning/house supplies.. food.. except no produce.. but what a great store!!!

Usually I love this store, great staff always! This time when I went for milk and kix cereal they didnt have either. Guess it was shipment day or something. But they almost always have what I need!

Most of the time I can find what I went there for. It close to home so perfect for a quick trip instead if going to grocery store or another retailer. The cold medicine, which is why I went today, is very reasonably priced and a good selection to choose from. The cashier was nice but did seem like he just didnt care too much about the guest. Didnt ask if I found everything or even tell me about the coupon on my receipt. However he did ask the three customers before me. When I got to the register he just ignored me rang up my items and I left. Made me feel a little unwanted there.

Cashier was nice, she greets everyone that comes thru the door and treats everyone with respect.

It is hit-or-miss for customer service. Some are great and others you can tell they are having a bad day and not hiding it. It is convenient to have the store nearby my home. Inventory changes often although they do have some items they always carry.

Oh my... Heebie jeebies to the max. The selection is good but I got this god awful vibe the whole time I was there. The staff werent very helpful and borderline rude. Feels like everyone around you is staring through your soul. If I ever get asked to go to Dollar General, count me the hell out. Never again.

Because the manager, Alan, is rude and talks smack about customers IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS. Extremely inappropriate, waiting on a call back from his DM / Corporate to complete a full blown complaint. Yes, he was truly that rude. Marilyn (assistant manager) deserves to just take the store over; she’s kind, patient and willing to try and make a moment right. Definitely won’t go back to this location as long as Alan is in charge.

The variety is decent, although they could add more if they wanted to improve.

Overall I really like this store, but we have purchased two movies here at this location, and neither would play. It was a Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Horton Hears a Who. I wouldnt suggest purchasing movies here.

This is a great store! I love everything they have available, and even find great deals when Im not looking! The receipt also prints a $5 pff coupon for your next trip. Plus, the employees are great! I enjoy shopping here everytime!

It says dollar but most iteams are 4.99- 7.99- 12.99? Seems like false advertising. You go in thinking dollar store but thats not the case. They were understaffed and only two checkers with about 10 to 15 people waiting to get checked out. Took quit a wail to get checked out (checkers were great and really hustling). Understaffed but the checkers that were there did good job. Also there is an assurance wireless (free phone) rep. Who is there often to sign and give qualified people free phone free service. .

I love Dollar General!! Its not advertised as a dollar only store like dollar tree because its not dollar only. You can find Great deals on food items, cleaning items and great national brand products!! I wish there were more of these throughout the Sacramento region!!

Convenient to have nearby because in some ways its like a mini walmart. They dont have produce and the perishables are limited, but its nice to have random kitchen, laundry, cleaning, etc supplies right there.

They are there for when you dont want to go to the BIG supermarket and just need to get in and out with a few items. They have some good prices on items.

All staff are AMAZING. Ive been too many Dollar Generals around the area out curiosity and this is the best yet. My only complaint would be that the staff always looked over worked/under staffed. As well as the amoint of time that is spent standing in line beacuse either there is one cashier or the system needs resetting.

The selection is solid. Most of the staff are questionable. They’re either extremely (and unauthentically) friendly or super stand-offish. Their backpack policy is ridiculous. If I need to steal from this store, the last place I would put anything would be my backpack....
