Mike at this Radio Shack is helpful and honest. He skillfully handled 3 customers at once (me being one of them) being the only one there. Each of us had different needs and we were done in less than 10 minutes. Great place to buy a variety of parts etc. Highly recommended

Radio shack is trying to make a comeback, and they are but at a snails pace. I used to really like to visit their stores when they had several, as you could find neat little gadgets that you couldnt find anywhere else.I liken RS today in 2021 to a convenience store in that you pay much higher prices for convenience.

Very small, not much inventory. Salesman was very polite and nice. But adapter for phone charger broke within a week of buying it. Loud popping noise and puff of smoke.

(updated 7/20/18) The re-opened store across from Reasors has a good selection of RS stock items and also some other things too. Got an Adafruit Raspberry Pi 3 and various parts... they also ordered parts for me that werent normal stock items, if they dont have it you can always ask if they can get it. Nice selection of cabling and adapters. Handy local source for electronics/communications hobby and STEM type items.
