This place was a life saver! My brakes squealed so bad and after having a bad experience else where I was very cautious. As soon as I walked in they were friendly and explained everything for me and end up working out a deal with me, which was amazing and my car is awesome now. Best place ever, I will come back every time and recommend to EVERYONE! Thank you guys so much.

First let me start off with I read the reviews and they warned that this place was a rip off. Still I Went in for a brake job told me I needed a master cylinder and brakes cool. Paid for it no problem $451 left. I had to return 2weeks later with the same problem as I brought it in for. Was told I had no issues was low on fluid. Lies! 2 weeks later had the same problem took to another shop they told me it was something totally different than what was fixed and was most likely the problem from the start. Called corporate and they said they talked to the other shop (of theirs) and they confirmed it wasn’t properly diagnosed the first time and it was wrong. Corporate then told me they would only give me 10% off the service they should’ve done the first time. This is the most jankiest unprofessional unskilled establishment I’ve ever had the displeasure of patronizing. Save yourself time and money do not go to this place.

Had brakes done and brake lines done and a couple other things. They were so nice. I didnt catch the managers name but he worked hard to find the parts I needed and figured out what can get me safely back on the road. Thank you so much guys. It was well worth the wait.

Joey was fantastic. I had taken my car to get new tires at a different company and they tried to more than double my bill, tried to manipulate me into cheap tires to make very unnecessary repairs and replace perfectly good parts! Joey pulled everything apart and said new brakes is all you need, everything else looks fine! Went from a 1K repair to under 300! Thanks Joey for awesome service even during a time when you were short handed! Fully recommend going here, don’t get ripped off at other places trying to take advantage!

Absolutely phenomenal service! Ive never met anyone more honest and dedicated to the work they do than Brakes 4 Less in Clarksville, IN. They charged me $589 for a job where I was told by Tire Discounters would cost me over $1200. The experts at Brakes 4 Less took the time to explain and show me what was wrong, and showed me the repairs I DID NOT NEED that Tire Discounters said I did. In fact, when B4L initially gave me an estimate, I said it was great. However, they later said they made a mistake and it was actually LESS expensive. I cant explain how much that meant to me and to my family. These are just honest, knowledgeable, good people. I will be a customer forever.

I have to go back for the third time. I brought the third package. They didn’t put new rotors on but charged me for them. No new brake parts. My boyfriend took pictures and yes the same parts. Again!

I went in for a brake sticking and they found over $1000 dollar worth of repairs. I was shocked and very hesitant to do the repairs because my truck is probably only worth $2500.

I went in with my traction control and my brake light on and thought it was gunna be bad but it was a flaw on my end when i changed my own brakes. They got me together no charge and even shown me what was up. Good place.

I am so happy I decided to come to brakes 4 less on eastern Blvd in clarksville indiana. I knew my brakes were pretty bad and the price was probably gonna be high. Joey (manager) took me out and actually showed me what was all wrong with my car and told me to fix everything it would be $1300. Yeah that wasnt an option for me I didnt have $1300. He then told me he can get most of it for $569 plus a 40,000 mile warranty. He actually ate the cost for a couple things that needed to be done which most shops wont do. I have been to shops that tell me I need work done that i really dont just to get more money. So due to their honesty and compassion they now have a lifetime customer. The mechanics here were friendly and obliging they let you know what you need to get done and try to do it with a deal to help out their customers to be inexpensive. They also have loyalty to the customers that keep coming back by giving you safety tips on what you need and what you can wait on and the cheapest way to get it done. I always keep coming back.

Went in for back pads, was told I needed front pads, rotors, back pads, rotors, and that the back calipers were leaking. Quoted $897. I told them no thank you, just do the back brake pads. He then told me $600 out the door. I said no thank you. He said well you definitely need the back rotors, calipers and pads. The back calipers are leaking. I said weird I havent seen any fluid and its still full. He said well its leaking inside the caliper. I said ok Ill take care of it myself. He said well we can do just the back calipers and pads for $400. I said no thanks just put it back together. Ill just go do it all myself. He said ok came back 5 minutes later said we cant let you leave there isnt enough pad on the driver side. I said what do you mean I cant leave? He says well we cant put it back together so you have to get the pads. I said how much he said $150 I said why 150 when it says all 4 179 he said ok well I can do 120 I said man just put it back together cause you keep jumping around in price now I dont trust what your saying Ill go home and do it myself. He said ok 100 and out the door. At this point I said ok just so I could go home. He then told me to buy the calipers and bring them back and he put them on for $100 He got done I said man can you just torque the lugs on the back to 60lbs so I can get them off he said no we have to torque them good. I hear him using the impact going to town. I get home try to take them off they wont budge. So I take it to big o in jeffersonville they try to take them off. It took them 40 min to get them off. They tried every impact gun they had nothing. They had to use a big breaker bar with a 5 foot extension on it and 2 of them pushing on it to break them loose. Please explain why they put them so tight? Just to be jerks? Seems like bad business glad it didnt mess up the studs.

I have the endless warranty from this location on my 4 wheel brake job. I had an issue that wasnt related to their work not too long after I had my brakes done, I came in this morning and they had it fixed quickly and at no cost to me. The manager is great at explaining everything so you know exactly what theyre doing to your vehicle before its done.

Took my troubled vehicle to Joey and his team and was very pleased with the service I received!! They took care of my car by finding an issue multiple mechanics had overlooked, and made sure I was fully taken care of and everything was squared away! A total rip off! $200 an axle for brake parts (without rotors) when top of the line lifetime brake parts cost $100 an axle at the most with the rotors. So at best you get $350 4-Wheel Brake Job on your SUV out the door for $650-$700... Guess the $159-$179 is to pull your vehicle into the Bay....

Not crazy about the $13.50 fee they charge as a shop fee, which basically is a fee they charge for me to use their garage for repairs.

I went to Brakeway after another place quoted a ridiculous price for my brakes. After inspecting my car, the lead foreman Joey told me my wheel bearing was about to snap. Alan and Joey worked with me and my schedule to make sure my car was safe to drive. Went over every pricing option and made sure everything was taken care of. After a few hiccups, due to my car being worse then they thought, they still kept me informed and delivered the best quality work. I was telling some friends about it and found that one of my friends has already been to the Eastern Blvd location recently and was VERY pleased. Word gets around when the service is GREAT. Warning! The corporate office gives ridiculously low quotes to get you it. Once there the price doubles. The shop was fine but couldnt even get close to the quoted price. If you call for a quote all to speak to the shop NOT SOME CORPORATE IDIOT!

If you for it, their lifetime warranty truly is for as long as you own your vehicle that you have the lifetime brakes put on.The brakes last a long time & when you need new brakes they replace them for free as well as all new free hardware.I know because Ive had 2 brake jobs so far & I was NOT charged a single cent for anything.

So I have always come to Brakeway before because its affordable, and fast.. this time was even better, the shop is under new management, and have an all new crew which I appreciate, Long story short the new manager had my truck fixed, he repaired issues that was caused by previous work done( again notby his current staff) and he honored all of my warrantys. Because of Covid a part i needed couldnt get there till next day so they even had a shop employee pick me and my kids with carseats too.up at my house to get my vehicle first thing the following day. Loved the service I recieved! Thanks Joey!

However, my daughter’s car had been neglected (by us) and we did spend more than we thought we were going to....but it makes her safe on the road as a new driver. I brought my 1996 Chevy S10 to this location because I had a brake line break. They quoted me a price of $300 and I felt like that was entirely too expensive! I called Big O of Jeffersonville Indiana and for the exact same work to be done they quoted me a price as $157! Brakeway is entirely too expensive!
