I have never had any problems with the people at Hutson. But I will NEVER buy another piece of John Deere equipment. I have used assorted cheap mowers in the past without a problem until they were old and falling apart. I thought I was stepping up to a better mower. I was wrong. The transmission has failed for the third time with 150 hours on the mower. Total junk.

Tried charging me almost 400$ for a service. When I told them that was outrageous, the clerk told me it would be almost 100 for an inspection fee. I never singed anything that I would owe anything, and the clerk informed me they would call prior to performing any work to authorize it. Biggest rip off. Go to your local shops! The clerk also said that there is a sign posted for the inspection fee, just bad business practices.

I have been most pleased with the Hutson Equpment and with my new mower. I had trouble pushing the clutch in far enough to start it because I am so short. They worked with me until the perfect solution was found - a few more inches were added to the clutch rod. Perfect and my thanks to the young man who came up with the solution and made the improvement and to all the brainstorming done to arrive at a solution.

Customer service was excellent. Everyone was friendly. We purchased a used mower and it was shipped to the store for no extra charge. Knew the price upfront. All questions we had were answered honestly. They are very reasonable and accommodating. Would definitely recommend them to others.

Call the guy to have a machine delivered, no show, no call. Waiting all day. We rented this machine. Wasted my day

Like a grown mans Chuck E Cheese!

Because, I was there driving up a ramp that was a loading ramp and when I got to the top of the ramp my truck which sets up high because its a four wheel drive and sometimes things that are actually real close to the front of the truck one cant see so I got to the upper part of the ramp and you guessed it, there wasnt a dock door and I ran off the top edge of the ramp and they came out after I went to get their help and brought out a fork lift and picked my truck up and if they hadnt done that, I guess I would have to call a wrecker to do what they did for FREE...

The salesman, Greg, at John Deere was very knowledgable and made my product decision easy.

Mark and Greg got me set up with the 1025r tlb and I couldnt be more happy with the purchase. The tractor far exceeds my expectations. I loved being able to stop by at anytime to check out the machine without being pressured or hassled. These guys are super nice and answered all of my questions with immediate answers. I also had a couple questions a couple weeks after I received the tractor. Once again, immediate answers and Mark thanked me for calling. I will be back.

Best price on a 32in bar for my 661 Stihl

They stayed after a few minutes to help me. They had already closed the system, so I couldnt purchase anything, but that was my fault, not theirs. Will printed off an illustration for me so I could make sure to redo the hydraulic system correctly.

This is the best John Deere Dealership I have ever been too. I have been a JD customer for 40 years and their customer service and attention to detail is beyond excellent. It doesnt matter if its John Deere or Stihl, Hutsons Clarksville is SUPERIOR.

Tried to buy a Stihl chainsaw (661) I wasnt worth anybodys time, went to CO-OP instead... Received immediate help bought two pieces of equipment.

I went in to Hutson in Clarksville, having done my research and ready to buy a 500 series lawn tractor. The sales rep, Greg Stone was annoyed by my mere presence and audacity to ask him any questions about a product. He was more concerned with tinkering on his computer than selling a mower. No problem, Ill buy something else, somewhere else.

Seemed to be low pressure, I had a lot of questions and the sellsman was very knowledgeable and patient. Will probably buy from there.

Be Careful if you take any equipment in for service. They are not the most organised and will try to get you to pay for parts and service that is unnecessary. They even charge you for a quote. I suggest you go elsewhere they dont want your business with small home equipment.

Very good place to shop for John Deere Service and LAWN Mower

So far, I have purchased a John Deere zero turn, a Stihl leaf blower and a Stihl chainsaw from Hutson. All the items have manufacture’s minimum selling price so everyone would be selling at the same price. I figured that I would buy from a place that I would get good service.The lawn mower was delivered to my home at no charge.Since then, I have purchased a few accessories for my lawn mower from Hutson. Their pricing was the same as on-line sellers.

Worst customer service in the Clarksville TN location. Needed help finding a part and the parts person looked at us (while we waited for him to get off the phone) and turned away as if we weren’t there! Didn’t say I’ll be right with you or I’ll help you in a minute. Rude and lacks basic customer service!

Quality parts and reasonable prices

As I was walking in I passed one of their employees on his way out. I got the serious face and a head nod as he was vaping. No hi or hello. Once I got through the door I pass a big gaggle of salespeople standing around talking....again no greeting or acknowledgement from any of them. Then I pass the customer service desk and once again...no greeting or acknowledgement. I decided to browse at their Stihl products for a couple minutes and was considering buying a hedge trimmer and weed eater. Of course nobody came to see if I needed help during my browsing. After a few minutes I just decided to take my business elsewhere....someplace where customer service is a higher priority. I will not be coming back.
