I worked with Taylor and he was so informative, nice & funny! He gave me a 2 1/2 week time frame for my car and got it done a week before the expected date & he made sure to call and give me updates on the status of my car. My car was hit and I was recommended this company, by my insurance. The Southfield location is closed on the weekend, so I contacted this location. I stated to the man what happened, and were they able to look at my car, because I leave for vacation tomorrow, and the Southfield location is closed. Instead of helping me, he stated, “all our locations should be opened. You should try calling them.” So I called and of course they weren’t open. So I called this location back. No answer. I called again. No answer. So I called back from my other number, and he immediately answered. So he watched my number call and call, but didn’t pick up, but picks up another number. Instead of trying to help me or a simple, “we are busy today,” I got ignored. So I definitely won’t be considering this company at all, just off my intial encounter.

Would highly recommend to anyone who needs body repair work. The work was performed flawlessly. My car was returned in pristine shape and during each step of the process I was notified of the status of my vehicle. The original estimate was 21 days for side swipe repair. The team finished it a week early, even over the Christmas holiday time period. Support this great group of people at Clawson Gerber Collision and you will not regret choosing them for your collision repair work!

Very clean friendly staff !

Updated 9-3-20. I brought my car in for repair after a fender bender. I had to have the front bumper, bumper support bar, some trim replaced. JT and Taylor were great about keeping me informed about the progress. The AC condenser did need replacing which added on a little time to the job and Gerber was great about resolving my concerns. I was kept updated almost daily on the repairs and status. My car looks great and the AC is working great too! Very happy with the end result and service here!

Exceptional customer service & quality work. I dropped my vehicle off for a minor repair and they were wonderful from start to finish. They had the car rental place pick me up and allowed me to drop it back off with them upon completion of the repair since I was crunched for time. My car was spotless when I picked it up; vacuumed and washed! Highly recommend.

Professional, courteous, and the car looked great when it was done!

They were relatively pleasant, and their work is acceptable.Wasnt a fan of them implying the bumper was defective due to peeling paint (peeling that only occurred in the area where it was hit with a trailer hitch while parked). AFAIK this was an OEM bumper and considering the collision cracked both the grille and bumper, it would seem obvious that the issue at hand was not caused by a coat of paint.Fortunately they changed their mind and decided to replace it.

Everyone was great! I loved getting the text message updates regarding the status of the repair. JT was very thorough and thoughtful. One of my tires was low and he put air in it before I came to pick it up. Additionally, they gave my car a wash which was a nice touch. Kelli was very accommodating. She was able to pick me up in the morning from my house and take me to the shop to get my car so I didn’t have to worry about getting there since I used a family vehicle instead of a rental and had to return the family vehicle prior to getting mine. I am very pleased with the courteous customer service and quality work. I will definitely recommend Gerber to anyone I know!

From the moment I dropped off my van to the day I picked it up, the staff was competent, courteous, and eminently qualified. Some examples:. They gave daily updates on the progress of repairs. They set a reasonable goal for completion and finished repairs well ahead of schedule. They restored my van to like-new conditionsTheir customer-centric focus is best demonstrated by describing the events of the day I picked up my van from their shop. I picked up the van in the morning, and later that evening, my van wouldn’t start—dead battery! Although Gerber had been closed for almost half an hour, Taylor answered the phone and, together with JT, came to my home to address the problem, working in the cold Michigan winter evening to effect a repair unrelated to the initial visit.

Used them for collision of my vehicle. Amazing service at all levels, including knowledgeable receptionist, fair assessment, timely work, coordinating car rental and insurance, and professional final repairs. Moreover, they cleaned my car inside and out, looks like its brand new. Would definitely use them again.

This by far was the best experience I have ever had dealing with insurance and a collision shop. Gerber contacted me quickly after getting approval and I was in the next day. I dropped off my truck on Friday afternoon and picked it up on Tuesday. That includrs parts, repairs and painting. Great work on top. Highly recommend.

Color match not great. Did not mask service van side door aperture and trashed inside of service van with Bondo dust. Just finished a there hour clean out. Wont return.

Horrible service. They put on the wrong trim on the hatch and also didnt attach the rain shields. Filed a complaint and said they will order the 2 parts and put them on. Its been more than a month and the parts still havent arrived. Really?

The process you have to go through after getting into an accident is nerve-racking. Gerber Clawson made the process of getting my vehicle fixed a smooth one. It is never easy to be without transportation, and I was scared it would be weeks until I had my car back. Taylor got my car back to me within a week. Not only did he get the car fixed in a timely manner for me, he personally brought the vehicle to my work.
