What a pleasure to have an exceptional on-site Coffee roaster in our neighborhood. They take great care to roast their beans perfectly to coax out the best flavors. We always have a bag of their most recent offering in our home pantry.Bonus: Check out the baked goods provided by local bakeries such as Dooped Donuts for a great vegan option.Staff is always friendly and welcoming.They do not have seating although there is one small table in the alley.

Just ordered a filter coffee and pumpkin donut. The donut was pretty good, nice cream and the bread had a nice texture. The coffee was pretty good as well. I will say that personally, $4.75 for a donut is pretty crazy. Probably wouldnt recommend getting a donut here unless it was piping fresh. But the coffee was good.

Loved this little cafe as soon as we entered! The staff were super friendly, explaining and recommending us drinks. I ended up getting the Iced Honey cinnamon Oat milk Latte and the frozen Oat milk latte. Both were sweet but in a well balanced flavor and I loved it! Would highly recommend if you are looking for a nice cafe in the area!

It was not part of the plan. While I was waiting for my sushi order from across the street to be prepared, I came to this coffee shop to try it out.This coffee shop does not offer any seating (inside or outside). I found that very unusual for a coffee shop. It would be nice to see that happen in the future.The menu is simple, direct, and to the point, and the drinks are fairly priced.I ordered the frozen latte with vanilla bean added flavor. However, the coffee shop was out of the vanilla bean flavor so it turned to caramel. The first 2-3 sips were overly sweet, and I really did not like it. But after those first few sips, its sweetness decreased. The drink was not well blended. But the ice blend for this frozen latte was great. It had Slurpee like texture to it. If the flavoring was evenly blended throughout the whole drink, this would be a five star drink (especially on a hot day).

My new favorite coffee place! I drive out of my way on days I really need a fix its so good. You wont find a confused menu with a crazy amount of drink but what they do.....they do to perfection.

Coffee was really nice and flavorful. They have a decent selection of pastries as well. The only disappointing thing are the cups and lids are prone to leaking. So be extra careful when moving around with the coffee.

Please do me a favor and go get their frozen latte with caramel. It literally is perfection on your tastebuds. Most coffee places, the caramel tastes bland, but here the caramel is so rich and delicious, it is very addicting. I wanna know the recipe so badly.

Well worth your time, good local coffee.Way better than any chain place.Was skeptical of laser cut head that makes drip brewer more like a pour over. I was wrong, black coffee was really good, and sweet options like lattes and frozen are also delicious.

Im really happy that this place exists! Ive been partial to local craft coffee for several years and was pleased to see a new offering so close to home! Ive been buying bags regularly for a while now and enjoy my regular trips in there for a drip (free when you buy a bag of beans) and a bag to take home for the week. Ive really enjoyed all of the varieties so far and hope this becomes a long time staple here in the area.

I was visiting Michigan and needed to find some good coffee. I came across Sabbath at a local grocery store and picked up a bag of the Ethiopia. I had 5 or 6 different local roasters while in town and sabbath was hands down the best. It rivals some of the better coffee I’ve had in the Pacific Northwest. Can’t recommend this coffee enough!

Just love this place! Their coffee is delicious and their staff are all very friendly. I wish they sold some gluten free treats but for now I’ll stick with my coffee and a pup cup for my dog.

The best coffee spot I’ve found!Their Oatmilk Honey Cinnamon Latte was a 10/10. I took a bag of their Ritual blend home and I will never buy another blend from anywhere else again! The owner was on hand and took time to make sure I knew the menu options and detailed their best selling products. Super friendly staff and really great interior/atmosphere. Cant wait to go back!

The aesthetic is awesome! Love the details of the shop, like the wall paper that matches the bagged beans! I love that they ship too! I can try new roasts at home, even if I dont have time to swing by and grab a bag!

I’ve known the owner for quite a while and his attention to detail and making the experience a complete joy is amazing. Cool shop location - easy parking - close to other cool shops to peruse. It’s a must if I’m out and about in the area. Bomb coffee too.

We were there for their soft launch and LOVED it!! Can’t wait to frequent here. The owners are the friendliest people. It’s the cutest little shop, and so clean. We had lattes that were delicious and also got a bag of the house coffee beans to take home.. oh my gosh so good! We drank it all up so fast and can’t wait to go buy more!

If youre not near Ferndale or Royal Oak, it used to be really hard to find a good roaster nearby. Glad I found Sabbath! Had a few questions about what would be good for my coffee setup at home and they pointed me in the right direction.Bought two bags of whole beans today, both roasted a day ago. Amazing. They even let me try the espresso to see what it tastes like, just so I know what I should be aiming for at home. Absolutely delicious. You can tell the pride and passion they take in their products, and I loved how educational they were. Cant wait to go back and get more, try the other beans, and learn some more!

I haven’t had a latte this good in a long while! I ordered a vanilla latte with regular milk and it didn’t taste fake-sweet at all. Really delicious!

Where to begin. The folks that run this place have the art of coffee down to a science. There are only a few shops in metro Detroit that can rival sabbath as a coffee shop. Drop Starbucks. Forget Biggby. And if you like tim Hortons we were never friends. Their espresso shots are always perfectly dialed in. Their lattes are exceptional. And if you have a special request they are more than accommodating. The beans that they use they roast in house and they never last long on the shelf. (An organic endorsement if Ive ever seen one) Long story short. Go early. Go often. And tip well. Lets keep these people around for a long time.

This place is awesome! I walked down to Biggby to get an Ice Coffee. Biggby made the iced coffee wrong, which is astonishing, so on my way back home I tossed it out and went to Sabbath. They saw me toss out my Biggby and told me how great it was I came to them instead. The workers are super friendly and you can tell they like working there. Their coffee is fantastic and roaster right in house. They have a wonderful selection of drinks including an espresso soda which Im going to have to try when I go back. If you like small coffee shops and friendly faces then you will love Sabbath Coffee Roasters.

Great new cafe in downtown Clawson! Opens at 7am so perfect for morning cuppa! They are keeping it simple with focus on quality with their drinks. Its just a small cafe without any seating to pickup coffee and some baked goods. Friendly service. Recommend the almond chocolate pastry if you enjoy a treat with your cappuccino.
