Kirk is a great guy, and the car we bought is in amazing condition. I called in the morning and asked if the car was available. It was. We (my son and I) saw the ad on KSL, but we were over an hour away, and I was working around my work schedule and couldnt leave until 1:00 p.m. - I explained this all to Kirk, but he couldnt hold the car, and I understood, but told him we were very interested. At 12:50 Kirk called me to say that someone was driving the car and preparing to get financed for it. I asked if I could put down a deposit, but my question made Kirk so uncomfortable... I could hear it in his voice that he didnt want to sweep the feet out from underneath the other buyer. At the same time, he also knew and was sympathetic to how badly my son wanted this car. Still, he explained he couldnt hold it for us. Again I understood, but this time I was also impressed. I knew from our conversation I was working with an honest, respectable man with a conscience (a unicorn in the world of sales).We decided to take our chances and just hope the car was there when we arrived. It was! I paid with cash, but was a dollar and six cents short. Kirk took a dollar from his OWN wallet and the secretary found six cents to cover us. And listen, Im not naive... I realize salesman get a commission on sales. I also realize that car prices are seriously inflated right now. But, I didnt want to short anyone, they had already reduced the price once, and times are tough.Kirk taking a dollar from his own wallet was a metaphor for our whole experience. He LOOKED like a regular guy, but I kept asking myself, Where is his shining armor and white steed?This is a small lot in a rough location, but they are organized and honest. I recommend you talk to Kirk. :)

Beware of this company, they doctor J.D Power values and then accept deposits which they refuse to refund when financing falls through. They do it on the milage line seen in the pictures. The JD power they provided shows a credit of 2000.00 dollars to the value. The other photo was provided by the bank and it shows the real value of the milage 975.00.

My wife and I left Idaho at 6:00 am in hopes of acquiring two new vehicles from Westgate Auto Sales. When arriving we met the sales manager Kirt, who without being pushy or overbearing showed my wife and I one of two cars which we would acquire. They have an ad on there website that says they will buy your car even if you dont buy ours! Went in there trying to trade it in or to just sell it to them and they wouldnt let me! They dont do what they say! Id give them 0 stars but it doesnt let you! I was there for over an hour to find out they wont do anything!

I filled out the online application for a vehicle I was interested in, I received a text saying that vehicle was just sold. The salesman asked if I was interested in anything else and I replied maybe on another but it was more than I wanted to pay so lets wait on pulling my credit. He proceeded to run by credit with two different lenders which lowered my credit score. When I called to ask to reverse it, I was told no. I even took a screenshot of the text telling him not to run my credit. I am in the process of having it fixed with an attorney. Would NOT recommend filling out anything online with this dealership

We purchased a car from them about 2 weeks ago. It ran for a week and then boom, it has needed over 3000 dollars In repairs. Its our fault for buying a car as is with no warranty. Pls dont do that. RUN! They dont care at all. I believe they even knew it was a lemon. It has been a nightmare.

We found the vehicle we wanted on west gate auto sales website and the following morning test drove it. They pulled my credit while I was at work got approved and even worked with the bank to get me a lower rate then the same bank previously approved us for a couple days earlier.We got to the dealer when I got out of work and drove off with our car less than thirty minutes later. The sales man Kirk kept me posted throughout the day and sent me pictures of parts of the car I had questions on. Very responsive and zero pressure like large dealers. The car had to be jumped when they first brought it out for a test drive and ended up replacing the battery for us.Price of the vehicle was less than KBB retail suggestion. They didn’t try to hide any issues and even brought up the paint being faded (car is thirteen years old). We are happy customers and after a dealer nightmare the day before finding this dealer we will be sure to look here first next time we purchase.

Great buying experience! Very friendly and excellent follow-up! I drove 2 hours to make the deal! Thank You!THAT WAS MY ORIGINAL REVIEW... BUT NOT ANYMORE!!!!. Jeremy and Kirk were nice to deal with INITIALLY. The vehicle I purchased had a 1,000 mile, 30-day guarantee that was supposed to cover ALL drivetrain Issues! 2 days after I bought the car, it started having overheating issues. 2 DAYS LATER!!! I called Jeremy immediately and let him know about the issue. I let the car cool down and found out that it was low on coolant. I topped it off at a local jiffy lube and drove it back home with out issue. 2 days after that, it started overheating again and the coolant was low, again! I called the warranty company to get approval to get my car looked at (per the procedures on the paperwork). I got approval to take the car to a local shop where it was diagnosed with having a $5700 head gasket issue.The warranty company immediately absolved themselves of taking any responsibility for the repair, because the issue had been reported to Jeremy (when I called) two days before. Also the vehicle was too old and had too many miles for the warranty in the first place. Jeremy did not take any steps to make the situation right, even though HE was clearly at fault.Upon further inspection, I found paperwork and receipts in the glove box that showed ongoing cooling issue repairs for the vehicle from the last owners. This clearly shows that not only did the vehicle have issues before I bought it, but it was also not inspected by Jeremy or his staff for any issues before the sale to me. He offered $1,500 towards the $5700 REPAIR...(WOW, THANKS!!!)....on a vehicle that clearly had issues before I bought it! It really doesnt matter if he knew or not, he should have taken care of the situation and made it right. Best part is,Jeremy only offered to pay up AFTER the repair was completed and the bill was due (lol, yeah right)!!!... I asked if I could get that in writing and he said youre not going to pin me to the wall on this one..So needless to say I took that as a NO, IM NOT GOING TO PAY EVEN $1500!SO, now I have a $12,000 vehicle I havent even made a payment on that requires $5700 in repairs! Jeremy either should have known about the issues, because thats his job to look over cars HE IS SELLING, or he should have made it right after the issue was presented... because thats good business! ... HE WILL NOT MAKE RIGHT!So I am changing my review to BUYERS BEWARE!!! And DONT EVEN GO THERE!!! This dealership does NOT take care of its customers, DOES NOT INSPECT ITS VEHICLES, AND WILL NOT MAKE A CLEAR SITUATION RIGHT! Great buying experience. Fast financing and paper work. Nice people. Comparatively a great deal for the car compared to prices elsewhere. Honest about the vehicle history, which I corroborated with my own CARFAX account. Only concern was that it took 2.5 months to get the license plate. But they called me before I had to call them, shipped a new temporary tag, and got me the plates before the second tag expired. Next time I’d ask to see that they had title in hand before handing over money (I paid a significant down payment). All in all I’d buy there again. Thanks guys!

I’m updating my review from one star because Jeremy, the owner, reached out to me to make what happened right. Well I would still not go back to Shawn, Jeremy was very honest and helped us out, which I appreciated.I’ll still leave the short version of what Shawn, the salesman, did: when I said that I wanted my husband to come see the car, he said “well I’m a salesman so I’m really just interested in selling the car” and also tried to push me to make a non-refundable deposit. I wasn’t going to do that since I didn’t know if it was a good car. I got home (more than an hour away) and realized that he had kept my driver’s license from the test drive. I was upset by this, and he even admitted it was a sketchy move. I couldn’t make it up that same day so I sent my husband to get it the next day they were open. He was rude to him as well and didn’t verify who he was.However, if you aren’t dealing with Shawn then definitely see what Westgate has to offer! Jeremy was great to deal with.
