Live shrimp prices are about average of whats around. Only live bait shop within a couple mile radius of its location. People working there are friendly and the store part has most little things you could need. It would how ever be nice if they increased their tackle selection. I come here often.

Before the store closed I ordered medium shrimp which is bigger size than the regular shrimp, apparently they gave me the regular shrimp size instead of the medium shrimp size. So sad that this is how they do business.

They had great shrimp even in the afternoon. And the attend was very friendly.

If you will be buy live shrimp you have to check before leaving because I was buy 3 dozen but 70% was died. But good store... outside decorations amazing. If you have plan to store in afternoon so you have to call for order shrimp than they are will be keep for you because last 2 times I went there afternoon around 5 pm and shrimp was sold...

Great little mama pops store .have everything you need for fishing from live bait to rods and tackle .very nice people just cant beat it I like to go to the mom and pop places not the big market places. Ive been going there since my daughter was a child they would always give her something a free bracelet or a necklace something every time when I went there everyday thats why I still go back there

Nice shop. Count your shrimp and check the size. 9/6/2020Bought dozen large shrimp. Only got 10 shrimp and half were not even close to large. Not the first time this has happened. Happened again 9/7/2020.Bought 2 dozen medium received half dozen medium and 1 1/2 dozen regular and small.

Second time in one week that they didn’t have live shrimp bait. I think it’s been sold recently and the new ownership could be the problem.

Its a great place considering location and especially hours. Its the only bait and tackle shop open that late in the area, right next to the causeway, and it has a good system set up of buying inside and then picking up bait outside. The guys running the bait aspect of it give good advice, dont mind having a conversation, and will cut or divvy up your bait exactly to your liking. I dont even fish and I was impressed with their service. If I did fish I would definitely use them. My friend loved them and went several times when he was there. The outside also has some interesting things to take pictures with if you like that kind of thing.

Really friendly staff, they have all the bait you need for basic saltwater fishing and have a very convenient location. They also have shirts, knives, and some cute belly rings. They have fresh jerky and shrimp that tastes amazing too. If you need poles, hooks, a bucket or sunscreen and snacks theyve got that too (small stuff is easy to forget which is why this place is great)

This bait and tackle are open early and closes late. They have great prices on their bait and the store carries just about anything you may want or need for your fishing trip. This is the only bait and tackle I use when I am in Florida.

Variety of live bait, priced fairly. Was impressed with all the other stuff they sell in the store as well. Was described to me be the employee as a “little wal mart”

They got this guy working their name “snook” the shrimp he gave me we’re under size for what they had the day before... I pointed it out I was over charged for the size they had left...so Snook was mad and I only two dozen not five.. out of the 24 shrimp 6 big ones were dead old shrimp 6 were extra small and four had the heads pulled offWill never go back and will make it a point to tell this story over and overBecause I was never refunded the full amount I was chargedAnd both employees lied to my face over shrimp

Are you a Maryland transplant? Do you need some feisty blue crabs to steam? Look no further! Nabbed a half bushel of live blue crabs this morning, and they were kicking all the way into the pot. Thank you to the folks at Clearwater Bait & Tackle for the great crabs, ice to calm them and super quick service.

Terrible...went in there and paid for 2 dozen grunts. been a long time loyal customer so didnt check bucket until I got to fishing spot. when i looked in bucket I was surprised to see Not even a dozen fish in the bottom. start counting n packing through them and come to realize I have 2 grunts and maybe 8 pinfish plus one tiny/micro perch I threw out immediately. i left fishing hole with bait to drive 15 minutes back to store and when i get there the bait guy Jose starts laughing at me. tells me Im wrong. and that he counted 2 dz... regardless of count I still didnt get the correct bait which is what I was most mad about. on top of that him laughing at me and saying Im wrong (implying Im a liar n suggesting I just thru out a dozen bait fish) wasnt the correct move... needless to say I am no longer a loyal customer and highly suggest management rid of jose. and thats me being modest.
