Great service, honest and professional. Braian found and fixed a problem in a system that is no longer sold or manufactured by Yamaha. He never gave up on fixing the problem and was able to get it working perfectly again, at a much better cost than replacing the system.

100 hour Engine Service for my 2 Yamaha F150s - Braian and Trey did a great job, and made sure I was a happy customer

We were wanting to purchase a boat and found Brian to conduct a full diagnostics of both motors and a survey. He was very professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and had great communication with us during the process; especially since we live 3 hours away and were not there. He sent a full email with all of the findings, plus photos and called us afterwards and spoke to us for about 30 minutes to answer all of our questions. Great Job Brian! Thank you Gearhead Marine!

Very professional and honest experience. I had anxiety about taking the boat to a mechanic because it was my first time having to do so as I have done all of my own maintenance to date. My tilt and trim motor went and I had bad seals on the pistons which was just a bit over my skillset. Bryan put me at ease and walked through everything with me to ensure we were on the same page and I was comfortable. He also performed a full motor tune-up and installed the newly required by law kill switch. I will be back again, hopefully NOT anytime soon, and if you need a mechanic give these guys a shout!

As a professional in the Yacht business I would highly recommend Brian. His a quality marine mechanic and is HONEST. While working in tight quarters he accidentally broke a part. We called Brian after our boat overheated. He assured us he could be out to assess our situation and fix it in plenty of time for my 60th birthday celebration. After most of the follow up was on our end; he appeared a week late in the afternoon. He told us he would give us an estimate that night and be back the next morning with the parts to fix our boat. He knew it was important because we were taking our boat out for my 60th birthday. We had already paid for a marina slip to go celebrate and lost the money on that too. He never showed up, never called us back, never returned a text. Totally unprofessional!

I was introduced to Brian when I purchased a Scout several years ago. It had twin Yamaha F150 engines which he surveyed and performed 500 hour service. I also had him install a new Simrad electronic system and do an number of other upgrades. I referred him to a friend who needed a new powerhead and he did a great job. I have since sold my first boat and Brian is servicing the newest one w F300 Yamaha. Brian is very competent and takes time to discuss your service needs, He is in demand but when on your job, he is totally focused on completing everything so you can go back to enjoying the boat. Highly recommended!
