Nick fixed my sea star steering. I blew out the seals and he fit me in to knock it out over the weekend. It was a fair price and he is good dude. I would use him again.
Service pro marine is not even a shop Nick has his house as a garage shop. Do not go here they will rip you off like they did me. What a mistake don’t be fooled from the bogus reviews this place is a joke. Be aware
I was having a hard time finding someone to work on my 67 Chrysler outboard. When I called Nick, he said Yeah, we can fix that for you. And they did! Motor runs better than it has in years. Super kind people, as well. I recommend them for motor repairs.
We have been taking our boats to Service Pro for years and never have been let down. Always top notch work. We highly recommend Nick and his staff.
I took my boat to Nicks shop for an alarm that would not turn off after the engine started, and for a routine check-up. He was very meticulous in all the maintenance he did to the boat and got me back in the water safely.
Really hard to find a good honest marine outboard mechanic.Service pro marine has worked on 2 different boat motors for me (Evinrude Etec 250 and a Yamaha 70 and I have always been happy with the service done! Both times he had my boats only for a few days—when I was used to leaving my boat for weeks at other mechanic shops.Very reliable and honest.
Great place! I have a old 75 hp Johnson singer from the 80s very fast boat! I was having little problems with it here and there! I looked around and could not find anyone who knew how to work on it or even look at it! I called Nick and he was very nice and helpful on the phone trying to Diagnose the problem. I took the boat to him for repair and he had it done in a couple days! Nick is very knowledgeable with boats and walked me through everything he was doing! He sent videos of the work being done and keep me updated on any unexpected things that came up. Overall this is the place to go! I would recommend to anyone!
Service Pro Marine did an outstanding job repairing my boat and had all the repairs completed on time as requested and the cost was a good value compared to other quotes.
Good reliable service. Had my lower unit rebuilt there for a reasonable price with a 1 year warranty. Started leaking oil about 8 months later and Nick honored the warranty by replacing the bad seal. Had me back up and running for the holiday season.
Run from this operation ...they asked for a paypal gift card as prepayment ...i had to pick up a part and help get the motor on/off the dock ...charged 550 to replace fuel pump ...and oh yea ...the motor didnt work after they put it back on the boat
Great service provided by Nick and Zack, they came quickly to check my boat starting issue and soon diagnosed it and it’s now up and running perfectly. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again...very nice personable guys too.
After getting ripped off by a boat shop on Cross Bayou Dr. in Pinellas Park, I asked on line for a reputable ETEC mechanic. I was referred to Nick and took my boat to him. Nick has more knowledge, deep technical understanding of the ETEC and so much experience to draw upon. He found the problem with the motor and had it fixed in under a week. He also replaced some extremely hard to get to fuel lines. He accompanied me on a water test at ten oclock at night so we could have the boat. If you have an ETEC, avoid the two certified shops south of Ulmerton and take your boat straight to Service Pro Marine. Nicks fees were also absolutely in line with his skills and ability to quickly diagnose and repair the engine. Thanks Nick !!!
