Excellent selection and customer service!!!! Claude helped us find the right cart that fit all our needs and wants. Ended up purchased an Icon i40L due to the stock features, ride quality and price. Discovery made the process of street legalization super simple and now we are cruising around almost every day! Had a couple small issues with the cart after delivery and Claude/Discovery took care of them without question. Cannot recommend them enough and will certainly be returning for all our cart needs!!!

While on vacation we decided to rent a couple of golf carts to easily get around with the family. Discovery Golf Cars has such great customer service and were very accommodating to what we needed. I can’t wait to come back next year and will definitely come back to Discovery Golf Cars next year. They made a great trip even more fun.

Please BEWARE, this company changes its name more that most people change the tires on their car. I have done business with them ONCE. The person that claims to own the place is a fellow by name of Ethan who through a simple google search, you can see he starts and closes many many different companies. Most of which get beat down with BBB complaints and negative reviews so he is forced to switch, and Golf Cart Depot, I mean Discovery Golf Carts is no different...I looks like when his angry customers pile on him too much he simply closes down his business and opens another fly-by-night. He has sold everything from used ear buds that do not get cleaned before he sells them to airplane parts, yeah go figure...The sketchy service I got for my cart here is one thing, but when I came back to complain they did a poor job on the fix, they had already changed their name and business. It went from GOLF CART DEPOT, to DISCOVERY in that short time.They gleefully told me there is nothing they can do to help me and that I am stuck with my problem. I should have warned people in advance because it is obvious they are paying a internet reputation building company to fix their 2.5 star problem they had a year ago.DO NOT BUY OR SELL ANYTHING TO THESE PEOPLE.. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...

My wife and I recently moved to Florida and one of the first things we bought was a golf cart. Discovery was very easy to work with and allows so many fun customizations that I didn’t even know I could get. Extremely happy customer. Now my wife wants her own, so that will be next.

I’m always going to be one who prefers buying from a company that has the ability to service what I bought. Discovery has that in spades. It’s super easy to discuss and schedule maintenance and service. We have even taken advantage of their invaluable on-site road side services.

Thankful for the on-site road tech that came out. It was so much easier than having to transport my cart to them. They made quick work of the repairs and had me up and running back to the golf course.

The level of customization offered at Discovery exceeds all others I have experienced. Cruising around the course in our ICON outfitted with all its ‘bells and whistles’ is almost as much fun as the sport itself. The envious looks we get from other golfers aren’t bad either.

My dad has been wanting a golf cart since I was little. I was finally able to get him one for his birthday and came to Discovery Golf Cars. They helped me find a great cart and get the financing in order very quickly. Great people to work with.

Definitely recommend! Personally used Dave Broker and was amazing, let us walk around without being on top of us like other places and was just there to answer our questions. Ended up building a custom lifted cart with all the bells and whistles. Warranties and quality work as well.

I bought a refurbished golf cart at the Clearwater location as a surprise for my husband for fathers day and after a test drive was told the cart only needed a few cosmetic upgrades, battery change and brake check. The salesman was very helpful offering all those things to be ready by delivery day (one day prior to fathers day). After I left a $3000 check and had signed a contract for the remaining balance I left happy thinking that I had the perfect gift. Only to receive a phone call an hour later that I couldnt buy the cart because it had a broken frame that they had magicaly not noticed before. Couldnt buy it? They had already sold me the cart! I have a contract, keys in my hand and had paid for it!!! Why would you even put something up for sale without inspecting it prior? After a 2 hour ordeal with a very arogant owner that was trying to make me buy a newer cart for almost $3000 more than the first one, he made it seem like hes making me a huge favor offering one or two upgrades but at the end said it wouldnt be available for fathers day after all. He knew this was supposed to be a fathers day gift! Be aware of this place, take your money somewhere where it is appreciated. This seems like they are trying to lure you in with something that is in your price range only to be surprised that its not available after all. Now they are still refusing to mail my check back. This was a very dissapointing and nerve racking experience.

WORST customer experience EVER!! DO NOT USE!! Kym was happy to take my money on December 14 for a Christmas gift order she said would be fulfilled by the week of or after Christmas. Today is January 28th and they clearly failed miserably. They over-promised and under-delivered the entire time. Ethan lied directly to me, saying he would make my issue correct by picking up and delivering the cart to me 3 weeks ago at no cost, then pretended he never said that today. Lets hope they refund my money timely. Thanks for ruining a Christmas gift to two retirees who rely on their cart!UPDATE - company continues to lie; not surprising. Please dont allow them to over-promise to you. They PROMISED once they received the part I purchased they would only need it in their shop for 2 days to do the work, then would deliver to me. They say one thing, then do another. At least someone on their team is quick at handling the negative reviews online! I found several much more capable and honest providers in the area.

Nadherick was amazing, super helpful and very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to get us the right cart for our needs. The entire staff was friendly and willing to answer questions. We drove all over looking at different dealerships and they were the best by far.

Not even sure where to begin what a horrible customer service experience wish I could share the pictures of the cart that was sold! The only positive since they wouldn’t swap it out was they did refund me! Went to Schaffer’s on Ulmerton! Was like night and day 5 stars for shaffers!

Dave, our sales guy was OK. Biggest problem was delivery. Kym said cart would be delivered 9-10am. After multiple confirmations from Kym we made sure we were home at that time period. We waited.....waited then at 10:15am I called I called. Tommy was running late. Then at 11:05am I called again. Tommy had to go to Palmetto and wouldnt be able to deliver until 3PM. Tommy shows up at our house at 2:45 when we were not there!!! The cart is great but I would suggest you give new owners a instruction manual on caring and charging of batteries.

I called Kym today the day after thanksgiving she sent me her personal number, had me take pictures of my flat tire and broken rim, text me back and had me bring it in right away. Eric didn’t even have us take the club car off the trailer, had a new tire on in 10 mins. Fabulous experience. Great shop. I highly recommend! Thanks guys saved us this weekend

Owed $85.75 for new title, $10 to print new title, and $53.10 for registration because Discovery Golf Carts registered the cart under a storage unit address rather than the mailing address of my business that shows up on Sunbiz.org. Owner was rude and did not apologize for anything. Also they damaged one rim/tire on the new golf cart and exchanged them out for a new rim set however now the brand new 2021 cart is badly wobbly at 21 miles per hour. The owner hung up the phone and said I cant help you. I was told by Naderick that there is a service ticket setup for 1 week later however when I called back to confirm the lady on the phone said 2 to 3 weeks and didnt care or wouldnt send it an email to confirm. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. MY INVOICE SAYS 2021 however the title says 2020. The lies continue! Notifying E-Z-GO Monday.

I dont ever write reviews, and would typically let a bad experience go by the wayside, but this is a big ticket item. These guys are disorganized and shady. First, I had a delivery scheduled 2x, and nobody showed up either time. They didnt communicate along the building process unless I called them, and whatever they communicated back to me was just incorrect when I did hear something back. So the owner knocked off $200 for 8 hours of my wasted time. I should have just refused delivery of the cart and walked away then.Second, when I went to pay for the golf cart, I gave them my credit card information, and said I just want to confirm the amount as $1234.56 and she said its actually $23456.78 because of a credit card fee. This fee was not on the invoice, and was never communicated to me at any point in the sales process. I would have had a check or cash upon delivery if that were the case. I told her she cant do that, and she said I already ran the amount. Then she put the owner on the phone, who said he would refund me that credit card amount. I have my doubts because I already see the incorrect amount on my credit card statement, but not the refund.The kicker on the whole transaction is that they never communicated that upon receipt Id need to get a license plate -- I mistakenly thought when the salesperson said they titled it and made it road ready that that would be taken care of for a road-ready vehicle. So now I have it, and theres a wait of a week to get into the DMV to get a license plate. Had they let me know about this with a firm delivery date, I would have made the reservation last week to get the license plate upon delivery.These guys are disorganized at best, shady and dishonest at worst. Beware. There must be someone better in town.

Purchased a brand new golf cart here in early 2019. Decided to get it serviced. Called the office on Tuesday and was told the computers were down but they would call me back. Nobody called me back. Stop by on Wednesday and was told they still could not schedule my service. Received a call on Thursday stating they could come pick up my cart on Friday for service. On Friday I receive a call saying they actually can’t pick it up for another week.Feel free to contact me if you read this and can get your service act together. My name is in your computer system somewhere.

My wife and I have decided to travel full time RV, and knew we needed to have a golf cart in this new experience. We each researched probably all of the golf carts available then visited the dealers that had the carts. Let me tell ya, golf carts are hard ro get ahold of when we started visiting. We had visited several cart dealers then we visited Discovery Golf Cars. Nadherick Morla asked us if help was needed, but told him we were currently looking. He stepped back into the business telling us if help was needed. We then began asking him questions about the quality of carts. What made them different is when talking to other dealers any cart we mentioned was junk. Mr. Morla instead of slamming the other carts explained why the carts were different, and even agreed that some of the carts had the same features or same drive features. Each cart we looked at needed to be ordered or wait until one arrived. Through networking the exact cart we wanted was found and was available the next day for us to view. There was not any pressure, no hovering from him. We decided then to buy the cart from Discovery Golf Cars because of the exemplaryservice and attention to detail. I would recommend Discovery Golf Cars to anyone that is entertaining the idea of buying a Golf Cart. There is not a single reason to go to Golf Car Depot, their prices are not competitive, their salesmen do not appear to be interested in selling you what you want, they are difficult to do business with.I just wanted a simple cart for me and my husband, but salesmen E kept pushing us into a cart with things we do not want or need.We had to leave and take our business elsewhere. Finding Golf cart sales in Florida is like finding fast food, we originally thought it was going to be difficult to find a store, but there are literally hundreds. Do your homework and find the one that YOU WANT not they one that THEY WANT TO SELL YOU!

We came in just to browse the selections, but left with a brand new golf cart, customized to our taste! Our salesman, Blair, was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of each model and their options. He graciously allowed us to be picky and help us to choose every option to our exact tastes. They have a wide selection of carts and accessories. I would (and will) definitely recommend them to friends.EDIT: I had some work done under warranty and they were a pleasure to deal with again. They came to my home and did the work right there. Awesome guys to work with.

Awful. We sent our crew lead to buy a cart to make life easier on them. He dealt with Ethan at the Clearwater location. He came back to the office and said not to bother at this place that the Manager Ethan was too impressed with himself to really answer any questions.I went down personally the next day and was also treated with, less than enthusiastic reception. I do not know if the Golf cart business is that good that these folks can just walk around and be impressed with themselves or what? I do know that the manager/owner Ethan can be googled and brings up many, many questionable business dealings in his prior businesses.There appears to be a great deal of angry customers left behind. I did not want to be another one of his orphaned customers so I went online and got a much better deal, had to wait a week, but soooooo worth it.

Great customer service on an early Thursday morning. Easy time through the buying process. However, the cart was to be delivered as soon as the next day, didn’t get it until the following Tuesday (after calling twice). The one thing I asked to be taken care of (glue on the windshield) wasn’t. So it’s a follow up issue after the sale. UPDATE- Ethan called me first thing this morning and they installed a new windshield immediately, great service follow up.

Not a great experience. Arrived and waited while one young guy talked on the phone with his girlfriend or wife non-stop while the other was helping another customer. Waited and waited and waited and waited, I guess I was not dressed to impress that day because the guy on the phone never even made eye contact with me while I waited and waited and waited. Sat there and listened to his entire weekend plans, I tried whistling really loud to get him off the phone, made obnoxious dad noises, nothing worked.What kind of place is this, how is it still in business. Are golf car sales that good that you can just irritate and humiliate people like this? Golf cars are not Mercedes. Lose the attitude. Dealt with young guy at the Clearwater location, he was condescending and unusually pompous for selling golf accessories. I just wanted to buy a golf cart for my husband but this young guy evan or ethan or something was more interested in lining up his night out than trying to make a sale. Excusing himself for 15 minutes coming back laughing at something while I sat there and stewed.I asked to speak with the owner, he indicated that he was the owner. At which point I laughed and walked out.There are MANY golf cart stores in the Tampa Clearwater area, do not bother with this one.I may be old but I do not have time to waste, or spending money on companies that will just be turned into a seasonal Halloween store in the next year.

Wife and I went to just look. We already had a nice RXV. We looked at the new lithium powered golf cart and we were shown the new 72 volt TXT Freedom 72. We were sold, great cart. There was no pressure, again we just went to look. Wife and daughter wanted some changes, they simply said no problem. Very knowledgeable and nice people to deal with. By the way, cart runs 25 mph and is smooth. It looks great. I highly recommend checking them out and will recommend to friends.

Very helpful employees and good prices

My girlfriend and I visited Golf Car Depot a few weeks ago simply to get a feel for our options. One thing we definitely had in mind was a street legal golf cart AKA low speed vehicle. Even though we arrived shortly before closing, Blair was extremely helpful and patient with us, and in no way did he resemble a high pressure salesman. Blair introduced us to the EZ GO Freedom 72 Volt model, which we immediately loved. He also explained the end-to-end process of equipping and certifying a standard golf cart for street-legal use. It is an arduous process for any individual to attempt on their own, which includes trailering the enhanced golf cart to a particular DMV in Hillsborough County for an inspection and issuance of a VIN. After milling it over, we returned to Golf Car Depot a week or so later, where Ethan wrote up our order. We felt no pressure whatsoever to add options and upgrades, although we did talk ourselves into several! Golf Car Depot was flexible with deposit, payment and delivery options. Our street legal Freedom 72 was delivered 4 days ahead of schedule. Registering it with the title office and obtaining a tag/plate was a snap -- hint... first obtain proof of liability insurance for your low speed vehicle, and bring it with you when registering. We had a small issue and a question after taking delivery. Golf Car Depot promptly responded with great post-sale support. If you are looking for a beautiful feature-rich golf cart that may optionally be legally driven down Gulf Blvd (or anywhere with < 35 MPH speed limit), then Golf Car Depot is your turn key solution.

Blair was quite knowledgeable but not pushy. Suppliers held delivery up more than three weeks, but parts finally came to convert a two seater into a four seater. Had to go back for a couple of minor things, but Stephanie was a great help in expediting a quick turn around. Will definitely recommend GCD to friends.
