I highly recommend Countryside Hearing Aid Services (CHAS). Tom Mitchell is very experienced and is always the consummate professional. The service provided by Tom goes way above and beyond what you would expect. His assistant Jennifer is always friendly and professional. Shes terrific.Ive been a client of CHAS for over 15 years. Since Tom took over, its a difference between night and day. Hank was a fine guy, but very few hearing professionals can measure up to Toms experience, professionalism and customer service.Please see Tom for your hearing needs. Youll be glad you did.

Our family cannot speak highly enough of Thomas Mitchell! Since my mom received her new hearing aids several weeks ago we feel like she has been given a new life! She can hear us talk again and actively participate in family conversations. It has been years since we could communicate with out mother and it feels like we have her back! Jennifer is the kindest person you could ever meet. Excellent, just excellent. As a new user of hearing aids I had no idea what to expect. Tom is the expert in hearing aids AND customer service. Highly recommend Tom whether you are new to hearing aids or need a new pair. Tom was able to identify the right hearing aids for me and adjusted them perfectly. I want to emphasize the customer service is beyond expectations. I work in an environment with video calls and work conversations with people who like to whisper and its so much better not having to worry if I can hear or not. Thanks to Tom and his awesome assistant Jennifer. Highly recommend.

I have to say it. My unsolicited gratitude and appreciation is due here.Something super exciting and amazing is happening at Countryside Hearing Aid Services and it didnt cost me anything but about 40 minutes of my time to be blown away with information I would have never found elsewhere on the internet, not even YouTube!And it has nothing to do, except incidentally, with hearing aids. It is about education on what hearing is and does, how it functions and what types of things that go wrong with it and why. And it involves something you wont find on YouTube either.What wont you find on the internet?YOU!Thats the final factor is you can do all the research you want, talk to people with similar problems and experiences to yours or hear their stories and explanations, even their successes, and you wont find the exact right thing for you until you become more self-aware. And THAT is what Tom Mitchel, to my surprise, gave me today in this comprehensive testing and evaluation.He even has a high-tech sound room and testing tool like nothing I have seen (or heard rather lol) where we did the comprehensive hearing check. This is no elementary school hearing test at the nurses office. This is 21st century technology and a graphic report that shows every aspect of every type of sound you perceive in work and everyday life!Did I mentioned he didnt charge me a dime for it? Thats right, I found out more than I even thought to ask or wonder about and WAY more than several hours of research of the internet has shown me. And thats because I left more self-aware.He wasnt there to slickly sell me hearing aids. In fact he really didnt pitch me at all except to make some recommendations on which ones to consider. But he was up front and honest about pros AND cons.But based on all the facts that came up in the testing he really left the next steps up to me, totally and completely and made his strong recommendations on what I should specifically do and consider moving forward. That is the kind of empowerment that is rare these days.And here I am recommending more people see him and get tested and evaluated. It is something that cannot be done on any YouTube video which, not to mention I realized after this experience, has a pitch, if only their advertisers pitching you.No, I was able to isolate my specific challenges and predict where future plays out from here, not by being told what to do, but being let in on the technology and knowledge of basic audiology Tom has. He really let me see it though a professional perspective.I SWEAR this is unsolicited BTW !!!! lol Im starting to sound like a commercial!And all of itthe result of him not trying to force-sell me anything. Hes really cause-driven in terms of isolating the real cause of the problem so a person can see their own options to handle it.I work with musicians professionally as well as other people who have sound as a vital part of their occupation and life and I have already been telling people about this place and to make an appointment.It doesnt end there. Jennifer at the front desk is so welcoming and friendly and you cant help but want to hang out there with the lot of them. Truth be known I was kind of sad to leave!If youre sitting on the fence, call up, set something up for a consult, like I did, and drill them with all the questions you had. I got answers to all mine including ones I didnt even know to ask! It didnt cost me anything to find out but the advice is invaluable. I am now doing the right homework based on ME!Thanks guys for an amazing experience! Ill be sending you more of my peeps for sure!!!!!

I would like to share my experience with Countryside Hearing. I have been partially deaf since childhood and I am now over 60. I made an appointment to have my hearing tested and it did not take long to get an appointment. I chose to buy 2 Captivate 100mini RITE hearing aids. I have been extremely pleased with this product. I have heard words to music that I have never understood in my previous years. I found the service at Countryside excellent. They do not just give you hearing aids but they want to make sure you know how to use them and that you are happy. I am so please I chose Countryside Hearing. Cathy C

We have been more than pleased with this company. They have superior products at very fair prices. We know you can get many of their products elsewhere but what you cannot get elsewhere is the type of personal service that Jennifer, Laurie and Tom provide. You can tell they truly are interested in you, your family and most importantly your issues. They understand that hearing loss affects the entire family and help you all get through the learning curves. They work together as a team to benefit you and your team. When Tom says he will make something right he does period. He often “hears” an issue with the aids before my husband knows! Kudos to this company for making a difference!

If you are a smart shopper (not looking for charity) who buys used aids, and cleans/maintains them yourself, dont go here. Tom now refuses to charge you for an hour to program your aids. He said I must pay for an annual 350 dollar service package which includes hearing test and routine maintenance for a year, which I dont need or want. Very sad, I had been a very happy customer here since even before Tom took over the business. No longer.

I want to thank everyone at Countryside Hearing Aid Services. Tom has been wonderful helping my husband Jim find better heading aids at a fraction of the cost of new hearing aids. We are Sri thankful for Toms knowledge and compassion. My husband purchased his hearing aids a little more than a year ago. They are refurbished and totally fantastic. My husband can even hear me whisper now. Lifetime batteries are a huge plus and he gets regular checks on his HA which keeps them running like clockwork.

Tom Miller is phenomenal as is his office staff. He has decades of experience and provides the best customer service of anywhere we’ve experienced – for any professional service! My husband was skeptical and didn’t think his hearing loss was bad enough yet and that I was overreacting. That didn’t turn out to be the case after the hearing test. Tom offered several options, fitted my husband, tweaked the computer programming and in general, provided caring concern, expert advice and professional service. We returned once/week for 5-6 weeks to further tweak, get questions answered, and each time the filters and tips were replaced and fine-tuning was performed as my husband got used to the aids. We are both fully satisfied customers – my husband with his new and improved hearing, and me with no longer having to repeat everything!

I had a poor experience at one of their competitors... and my mother is a little more challenging to deal with since dementia and Alzheimers play a part of the process. I was one of those guys that did not want to wear hearing aids. I hated the thought of it . I needed them for years, after having them I wish I had not waited so long to get them. I am %100 satisfied with how they feel, how they work and the service I have been given from everyone at countryside hearing aid services. its a bit of a drive to get to them but well worth the time out of my day to go for service when needed. the price was fair and the product is amazing. thank all of you at countryside hearing

After a very thorough hearing evaluation, I purchased a set of hearing aids over two years ago from Countryside Hearing and have had nothing but exceptional service!! Tom is very quick to solve any issues and/or, answer any and all questions. I have been a customer since 2016. I am a younger patient in my 40s who has struggled with poor hearing caused by a childhood illness. I was hesitant to get a hearing aid due to concerns about the appearance of such a device. Tom put me at ease with a wide array of options. I am very pleased with my hearing aid since it is virtually invisible and works great! It even has cellular compatibility to adjust the settings. This office provides outstanding service, prompt appointments, friendly reminders and always ensures my device is working at its peak performance! The entire staff is personable and eager to help. I have worked in hospitals and medical offices for about 40 years, so I get the challenges of creating a patient-friendly office ambiance. After a prior discouraging experience attempting to get care from one of the corporate hearing aid outlets on my insurance plan, I was referred to Countryside Hearing by another independent provider. I walked into the office and was greeted like a long-absent family member by Jennifer (receptionist): with kind cordiality and effusive warmth. Tom (Hearing Aid Specialist) and Laurie (Toms spouse and assistant) respectfully listened as I described the challenges of living with poor hearing on a retirement income. Toms elicitation of my history and his examination were thoroughly professional and he proposed options without pushing. I always look forward to follow-up appointments and feel blessed to be part of their family!

Had been visiting audiologists offices for over 20 years with my child who has worn a hearing aid since age 4. When I needed a hearing aid, I knew what great service should be. I was referred to Countryside Hearing from someone who had been a customer for a long time. The consultation visits were very thorough and the follow-up visits have been exceptional. Ive had hearing for 5 years(not cheap ones).I needed new parts, so Googled for rep. Found Countryside Hearing near me. Wow, what a pleasant staff!! I complained about my hearing aids to the man with my parts(I now know is the owner). He offered to sell me traded in $7000 hearing aids for $2000 that would far exceed the hearing of my current ones.We left, but called for an appointment.I had the test and bought the best he had to offer. These Re Sound hearing aids are giving me amazing hearing. If you are having trouble with hearing, I highly recommend Countryside Hearing Aid Services. HEY!!! Listen Up, I have a story to tell. I have been wearing hearing aids for 30 years; have spent over $ 20,000.00 on them and dont have a one of them today. The man that got my hearing straightened out was Tom Mitchell. I had been to at least 7 audiologists and not one of them could solve my problems. If you fall into this same realm, I suggest you go see Tom. His office is the greatest; everyone of his employees are super. Tom will give you his utmost attention, and I can assure you he will solve whatever problem you have. He has taken care of me for about 3 yrs. GIVE HIM A TRY!!!

I have been seeing Tom at Countryside Hearing since 6/2015 and purchased the ReSound hearing aids. They have been wonderful ! I havent had one single issue or problem in the 2 1/2 years of having them. I get to see Tom every 3 months for a check and cleaning, and what a nice guy ! When walking in the door, I always get greeted by the wonderful and professional staff of Laurie, Rachel and Jill. It has been a terrific experience ! I cant recommend this place enough. The entire staff is kind, gracious and very helpful. Dr. Mitchell knows his stuff, offers free hearing tests and competent, informed, no-pressure guidance on hearing aid devices ways of managing tinnitus. After a loud concert incident a few months ago that resulted in tinnitus in one ear, I went to an ENT on the recommendation of my primary doctor. Cost me over $500 (after they told me it would be no more than $300) and they didnt tell me anything more than Dr. Mitchell did...in fact, much less. Countryside succeeded in every way my ENT failed: kind and gentle ear-side manner, no-pressure guidance on treatment options and plenty of literature and explanation on my condition. You can tell the difference between places where youre just a number, a chart or a paycheck and places that actually CARE about you as a patient and as a person. Countryside is definitely in the latter camp and thats why they will get my business (and my referrals) from now on. Go see Dr. Mitchell first. You can thank me later.

Im a 20 year hearing aid wearer, a Registered Nurse, and have moved to Florida permanently 3 years ago. I dreaded having to find new hearing aids and waited until my old ones were more than worn out. I tried Audibel, but couldnt even get past the fancy waiting room or them making me wait a half hour in it for my scheduled appointment. I do not respond well to being up-sold or pressured.By sheer luck I found Countryside Hearing aids doing a voice search on my phone while driving home from audibel cursing under my breath. I arrived on their doorstep unannounced and they made some time to simply tell me my options.Tom and his team are straight forward, down to earth, and friendly. There is NO pressure sales and no air of judgement there. Just great people doing a fantastic job.I hardly ever do reviews, but these people impressed me. I was fitted for 2 new hearing aids and they are leaps and bounds beyond my expectations! I can hear what my wife whispers to me in public and the rain on the porch.I highly recommend anyone who values your hearing to check them out! Update:4-16-21 I decided it was time for an upgrade to my hearing aid technology and when I went in for my routine check-up, Tom helped me find the Widex Moment hearing aids that had all the features I was looking for. There was absolutely no pressure or up-selling/sales stuff. Still just a great experience. I told him my budget and he worked with me in a very fair and simple way to get the right hearing aids and I can spread out the payments over time. Now Im able to stream phone calls through my hearing aids and hear perfectly without holding a phone up to my ear or using speaker phone. The upgrades in these hearing aids make the sound quality way better than the ones from just a few years ago. I can connect to blue tooth devices and stream music and sound if I want to.Im very thankful for Tom and his team and cant imagine going anywhere else for help with my hearing. This is a small family business with a lot of heart. Youd do well for yourself to check them out.
