The young lady was so friendly and helpful - she took her time and helped me decide which Ice cream cone I would like best, I was like a kid- it had been years since I had been to a soft serve ice cream stand. And dairy Kurl was outstanding!! The inside was nice and neat clean no flies buzzing around like you see at some places! And outside the tables were all nice and clean. The trash bins were clean and neat as well. Very impressed! I will go back!

This is Clearwaters oldest soft serve ice cream establishment on Gulf to Bay Blvd. Lots of great options here and they have a continuously changing Dole Whip flavor rotating out. One of my favorite stops during the week!

If you are in the area looking for dessert.. Look no further!! Really good Ice Cream the soft serve is creamy and delicious. Got a brownie sundae with hot fudge and nuts.. It was unbelievable! You can tell its real homemade ice cream. One pro about this place is they not only have small, medium, and large sizes... But they have whats called monster size. We got the large but if youre looking to enter a food eating competition monster is the way to go.

Really wanted banana milkshake. There was a line of a few people, but girl working there worked hard and fast. She complimented my Tshirt. It was amazing to see her working and still make time to give a compliment.

I have lived here 6 years and just came across this gem a few days ago! Absolutely amazing and the young girl working there was so sweet and friendly! We went back a second time on the same day! If you love soft serve, the Dairy Kurl is where you need to go! I highly recommend! Enjoy!

This place was disgusting. All the tables were very dirty with melted ice cream everywhere and sprinkles. Trash was everywhere. Even the trash cans had ice cream all over them. Clean up your place It looks so trashy. We will never be back. Many places I’m sure better than this this trashy place. I’m amazed you get any good reviews the way this place looks.

I hadnt been to Clearwater in a looong time. This place I can remember from back then, and am almost certain as s young teenager living in Clearwater. Always loved it then and my kids loved it now.

Great soft ice cream. Pretty small spot so they have a small parking lot. You can get the small and it will be more than enough.

Ive been there twice in the past week, both times in the early weekday evening. 1st time they were already closed and the 2nd, the swirly machine was malfunctioning. The prices seem high, the parking is extremely tight and Gulf to Bay Blvd. is RIGHT THERE (noise & all). I dont see what the big attraction is.... Not going back.

Ive been coming to Dairy Kurl since I was a kid, Im 28 now, I had a really difficult day at work and thanks to Sam and Maisie making my candyblend so amazing and making my bad day a lot better. I have loved getting ice cream here for years and will only get it from here. Best ice cream in Clearwater thats for sure. Thank you for keeping this place going and providing the same great ice cream and family vibe.

Just went here about 10 minutes ago. Me and the 7 others I brought with loved the icecream here. But, I had ordered a chocolate mint shake and the teen working gave me chocolate. She then talked to her coworker to see what I had ordered and I saw she rolled her eyes. She then came to tell me I ordered chocolate and I disagreed with her once again. The people I came with heard me say chocolate mint as well. Anyways, she then offered to add mint to make it. Was good icecream tho but definitely will not be back because of how rude they were to tourists!

Me and my family go every day. It’s my husband’s and I favorite little treat of the day together and now we have my mother and brother addicted to it as well. It’s the best ice cream ever. The day time worker is also awesome and very kind. They are so good most times we go back at night for another.

I got a vanilla with sprinkles last time i went here and i remember how cute it looked and how it was put together so nicely. not only was my ice cream perfect but the girl who gave it to me was super sweet and kind and im excited to come back. i think the girl had redish hair and a LOT of necklaces but yeah she was great!!

The shop was ok for a hole in the wall ice cream shop. The food surpasses dairy queen hands down. But the service personal is spotty at best. They need a real lesson in customer service and how to deal with the public with a smile.

I’m all about supporting small businesses and first impressions are EVERYTHING!!! The first time I came to this establishment they closed everything down earlier than their operating hours posted. I gave them a second chance and ordered a banana split, I was told they had no bananas. I understand this establishment has been around for quite some time but I guarantee their business has declined. I will never return again due to the frustration and aggravation from my two visits. I certainly hope for the best to this establishment but I’ll take my business somewhere else.

Having an ice cream here was like stepping back into a simpler and better time. I went here with my two friends and their dog and we all got ice cream. They even had a pup cup for our furry friend! Everyone was friendly and accommodating when they ran out of the item two of us wanted. I would recommend stopping by this place to check it out!

I love ice cream. Im a dairy farmer. This is the best milk shake Ive probably ever had. Even the banana was pureed enough to not clog my straw. 5 stars is not nearly enough

Usually expect these mom and pop places to be better than mainstream but I was a little disappointed. Candy amount was lacking and the outside sitting was in need of wiping down. Just overall not that impressed. We got the Kandy Kurls for our selection which is much like a DQ Blizzard. For a better experience Id recommend getting extra candy.

The ice cream is usually pretty good but the service can be awful. Went there around opening time and the employee was 10 minutes late arriving then said it would be another 30 minutes before they opened. They were not very apologetic and seemed more irritated by my presence more than anything. I know this place is old but it could be cleaner and needs a little TLC.

Its been there since 1953 if you grew up in Clearwater or know somebody who did they all know about this place its a dream specializing in a variety of cones and toppings worth it still reasonably priced same old red and white building thats very nostalgic and its funny to go there since I was in high school and its still in business today worth the trip
