I have done business with this Company for many years. Why, because they treat the customer like most businesses use to, decades ago, with respect and honesty. The staff is knowledgeable, the equipment & parts are top notch, the facility is clean and well maintained and lastly, the owners are the greatest people you ever want to do business with. Roy has always treated me as a friend, rather than a customer. I would never take my business any place else. If you want the best, go the Royal edger & mower.
Three weeks ago I brought three pieces of equipment in to be repaired. A weed wager. Edger and backpack blower. I need a blower and purchased a new Stijl for over 500.00. During the three weeks waiting for repairs the first call was to tell me the trimmer could not be repaired the cost was to much. I ask how much was a new one compared toThe repair. I was told the shop feed would be waved if I did purchase a new one.The second call was the edger was complete. When I asked about the back pack blower and then I was told they were waiting on parts. Today I received a call the blower was complete. I went in today to pick up all my equipment service gave me the receipts and I went to the front counter after waiting about 10 minutes for someone to check me put. I ask about the shop fee on the trimmer if I purchase a new one for 369.99 I was told it could not be waved. I found the hole experience not good And after 20 years of going to royal I will never return. I call another dealer and purchase the trimmer cheaper. Their loss. Three weeks for repair And bad attitude
I came in on Saturday, to buy a new weed eater and also to get some supplies and have a old weed eater repaired. The service department jumped right on the situation and basically rebuilt my weed eater while I waited. Both the service department and the parts department were very friendly and attentive. They were eager to help me out. I highly recommend Royal Edger for anyone wanting reliable service both residential and commercial.👍

This is a great store for tree / Chainsaw and landscape equipment. They have all types of climbing gear a mechanic service and great staff. My dad has been frequenting Royal Edger & Mower for over 20 years now and has never had a problem with any of the employees or repair services that are provided.This changed this last week when our Stihl hedge trimmer throttle trigger snapped in half in the middle of a job. We brought the trimmer into the shop, informed the clerk of what was wrong and what we needed repaired, and were told that we would get a call in 2-3 business days.6 days later, after not hearing from anyone my dad called the business and was informed that no one had looked at the trimmer yet...After speaking with the person on the phone and asking to pick up the trimmer, we were assured that it would be looked at that day.The next day we get a phone call and we’re told that the carburetor was leaking, the values needed adjusting, and nothing was mentioned about the throttle trigger needing replacing at all...We were told the repair price would exceed 50% of what the trimmer’s worth, that it would be cheaper to buy a new trimmer at the price of $359, and that it’s dangerous to let the trimmer leave the shop with a leaking carburetor.My dad said he didn’t want any of that done and only wanted the trigger repaired, but was told they couldn’t without replacing the carburetor with a new one as well. So my dad drove down to the store to pick up the unit and was charged $48 to remove 8 screws...The unit was still dissembled and the trigger was clearly snapped in half.We traveled to another Stihl dealer and paid $4 for a new trigger and installed it ourselves.There is no leak in the carburetor at all.And the trimmer runs normally.You guys tried to sell us a new unit or upcharge us on a $4 part to $150-359...We’re very disappointed with the way we were treated and don’t know if we should bring our equipment back if we may be taken advantage of again.

I went to Royal Edger&mower C....today.now Im a older women but I went in to buy a part for my mower and was carrying t lawnmower wheels.No one offers to help me.the man with the gray hair got me what I needed but when I got my wallet to pay his phone rang so he put that person on the phone before my all I had left to. Do is pay.i felt that was very rude..The customer were more polite and helpful than the people that work there I was in shock I couldnt believe it what happened to customer service these days you know common courtesy why havent you dont exist no more I know some places it does but they already did it so if I have to go to lawn mower place I think Ill try somewhere else because I dont like rude people now if I was young and you know could stand there without because of my I got a bad knee and I got arthritis real bad so it was hard for me to stand there holding two tires and my purse and he just stayed on the phone like,,,, oh well !
I guess wearing masks not mandatory in the store. Employees without them at least 5 customers in the store without them. You have the signs up youre just not caring about the General Public. Obviously just profit. Its a shame I wont be coming back for the part that I was going to order. Which my family will need if a hurricane comes . To run my generator . I appreciate your response. But when you have three people smoking in front of the door double wide door single one open. Then you walk into the store you maybe have a 6 foot span. Once you put everything around it you have a 4 foot span. I was forced to stand in front of two other people without mask. Watched one of your employees walk from outside pass me without a mask. I guess he is holding plexiglass that is invisible. Step up people. When it comes to business no one should die. Including your family. Everybody stay safe
So I was a customer for 3 1/2 years. Last time I took my mower in, Royal was unable to diagnose my issue. I came to pick it up and asked if they could put a clean fuel filter on it, which they did. At this point they saw no fuel entering filter so they asked if I would leave it, I did. Two days later I called to check on my mower and was told if it broke down again, don’t bring it back, which I haven’t and won’t. It takes months to build a relationship, but seconds to destroy it. Royal fixed the issue though once they tried

Told me turn around for a weed eater tune up was 3 days... a week later they haven’t even looked at it. When I asked what the hold up was, they said they had customers who take priority over me... Unless your a “priority” go somewhere else!

I’ve dealt with my share of mower shops. Royal edger has a great group of employees and fair prices. The reason I only gave them or stars was because I had the same mower in the shop Eight or 10 times for the same thing since February and they have had my other mower for the last five weeks. In their defense neither one of the mowers were sold to be fired them nor is it a brand they carry. Jose and Brian in the service department have impeccable customer service skills

I was in a bind, concrete saw pull cord needed fixed. It was holding us up on finishing up a big project. They fixed it on the spot for me, got me out of there in less than a half hr!

Went to a pro shop Royal Edger today to purchase a chain saw and I was impressed beyond words by their employees. Even though I spent weeks researching chain saws their employee was able to give us extremely detailed breakdown of every single part of each model and spent an hour with us helping us select two different types of chain saws, oiled it, filled with gas, adjusted belt, explained gas ratio, how to use it and after we purchased and left the store he went online to double check a detail he wasnt sure about and called us immediately leaving a voicemail with detailed explanation. We were MIND-BLOWN with the quality of their sales force. It is extremely rare to run into someone who knows his job these days. I would wholeheartedly suggest avoiding places like Home Depot and going to pro shops like Royal Edger instead. Whata service. WOW !

Turn around for parts is very good, theyre excellent with pricing, and have a very friendly staff. Im a small business owner and I know how hard it is to find good help these days. My business relies on every person on my Team being superstars. Thats why my Lawncare business relies on Royal Edger and Mower Company to provide professional equipment and repair services. When I started my business earlier this summer I knew how to cut grass but I didnt know everything I needed to know about the equipment used. Roy and Justin helped me every step of the way to outfit my Rig with the proper equipment. They made sure I bought exactly what I needed and also how to properly PM or maintain the equipment. They provide a family feeling when your in their shop. They want to help your business succeed and they show it every time you walk in. If you own a lawncare, landscaping or tree trimming business I suggest you try these guys out. I personally drive from Riverview to Clearwater and will never buy equipment with my hard earned money from anywhere else.

I needed an earmuff replaced on a helmet so I called Royal Edger. They told me the earmuff was no longer available for my relatively new helmet and said they would be glad to sell me a new helmet. I called two other Stihl dealers that said the earmuff was available for around $11. I ordered one and had it in a couple days. When I stopped by Royal Edger after this I took the helmet in and this time they said they could get me the earmuff but Stihl only sold them in pairs, and I would have to buy two of them. So on two accounts they have been dishonest. This isn’t the way to do business.

Bought a mower from Hudson tractors found out I over payed by 3k had problems with the mower 3 days later mower was in and out of shop several times and charged my wife hundreds to still not fix the problem sham on you .mower was never fixed .Hudson tracters never resolved this matter .So went to royal edger mower shop clear water fla .With in 1 week new engain was put on no charge thanks for doing job right the first time .Any one who sees this post in my book royal edger is #1 Tell next time thank you guys for getting me back to work.
