I bought an older Sea Ray with a Lofrans Windlass on it that was missing parts above the gypsy and wasnt getting power also, so I replaced it with Lewmar V700. I tried the old anchor rode and it jammed up several times. I decided to replace the old rode with 8 plait and chain. Bobby helped make sure I was getting the right one. Super fast shipping - two days! Just loaded it into the windlass today and it went in super easy and smoothly. Ill try it out in the intracoastal later this week. Very pleased so far.

It was a pleasure to order my new anchor rode from Dark Horse. I called and spoke to Anna and she helped guide me to order what I needed and not overkill and I didnt feel any pressure. I wanted to order 5/8 rode with 5/16 chain and that would not have worked with my windlass. Thank you for your help in ordering what I needed.
