I love this store. They have so much to offer. If you’re looking to furnish a new home I recommend stopping here once a week. You will surely find some staple pieces here that you can play with and even some decor. I found some Arhaus fabric patterns that I will turn into pillow or curtains. It’s always so exciting to go in here
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit that focuses on building affordable housing for lower income families that may not otherwise be able to own a home of their own. They do this with the help of many volunteers that collect, organize, and sell a wide cross section of household items from furniture, lighting, and paint, to dishware, tools, and soap, plus everything in between, at their retail stores branded ReStore. The proceeds are used to buy the materials to build homes, also heavily reliant upon volunteer work, and eventually provide that home to a family that can afford the nominal zero-interest mortgage. The home recipient is also required to volunteer at least 200 or more hours as well. Its win/win for everyone and by helping out, your not contributing to any political or religious organization. Whats not to like?
Went yesterday to browse. As I love this store and have been many times in the past. BUT, the prices have soared in the year that I havent been. It was crazy to see a scratched up and dented dresser for $699.00. My husband about died when we seen all the prices. Staff is always friendly and accommodating.
I love Restore!!! You never know what youll find. Its like a treasure hunt each time you go. They offer brand new and used furniture. Ive incorporated both in my home and youd never know which is new or which is used!! I love this place and it serves a great purpose.
Friendly workers. Lots of stuff. Great prices. Held my item for 3 days until I could pick it up. Helped us load the vehicle. Need better signs for pick up/loading area.
Great place for used/new home repair items. Has almost everything you would ever need, at one time or another.Sometimes whoever is pricing the stuff is a little crazy (in a bad or good way)
Everyone here is so helpful and great prices on furniture :-)
The place is supposed to be a thrift store. But they sell top end Arhaus furniture for $1500 and so on. And or course thats a fraction of what it would sell for at Arhaus. But they take this stuff in donation. Arhaus gets a big tax credit Habitat for Humanity makes almost 100% profit on it. So I just wonder why they feel like the people shopping in their store would have $1500 to spend on a sofa. They do have used furnishings priced appropriately. But you have to get lucky and find something that doesnt look like a 1970s nightmare. All in all it is a good thrift store. Area rugs priced nicely as well as some of the mattresses.
Love going here, never know what youll find
I was impressed by the friendly greeting from the lady at the counter as we walked in the door. They are really trying to clean and fix this store up nicely and I appreciate it and you can tell others do also by the increased traffic they are getting. Thank you! We were looking for some things that we did not find, but as we know from past experience, we shall try back. We did find a beautiful antique-looking porcelain pedestal sink for our mexican-styled bathroom which we bought at a great price. Thank you to the man and woman who helped us. Some of their prices are great, some fair and some way too high for a thrift store, even though its for a great cause. Thank you to the man who stepped up to help at the register when they got busy and thank you to the courteous and efficient service we received all over and even at the pick-up dock. You made a fun shopping experience even though I forgot the door latch and handles I bought on the checkout counter. Oh well, that was my fault and after all Im only out two bucks. I just consider it my additional donation to the cause! Thanks again for everything youve done and continue to do!
Loads of stuff, new and used, at rock bottom prices. Very nice cashier.
Everyone working here was so amazingly nice and helpful! Especially Pete who went way above and beyond!! I will be there every chance I get! Great staff and a great cause!!
This store has an incredible selection of items. Youll find electronics to toilets!
Lots of cool stuff and great prices
This was my second visit to Habitat I give kudos to Terri on the sales floor and happy in the pickup area thanks so much Terri for great customer service keep smiling happy
Nice idea. Havent found anything great for some time. NFL draft items are disappointing and overpriced.
First time here. Love seeing good used stuff ready for a new life in your home. Why not call and arrange for your donation. You may chose to Volunteer too.Why not.Tell them Joe sent you...they will say Joe Who...thats me...👍
Terri 😊 was awesome! Polite, helpful and very nice. We enjoy trifting and I found the dry sink, sorry about removing the tag. I didn’t want anyone else to buy it!
Spacious, un-crowded and organized. Prices were reasonable, but not great.
It was ah really great experience an they had what I needed .there prices are ah bit steep but its ok .
I love this place! I always go out with something from the store.
I was disappointed to after not being there since early summer to be treated by a very rude worker standing on the dock who directed us toward the end of new entrance by talking to us like we were retarded not knowing where the entrance was. Prices are very reasonable but staff attitude really ruins the shopping atmosphere.
As others have stated, the prices have significantly increased over the last year. They have purchased returned/damaged items from Ashley and Arhaus to resale. The items are way overpriced and not moving, limited inventory of affordable items.
Great place to find stuff for your house, but they need better stuff that doesnt look like its been thrown to the curb for the garbage men for the prices they are charging
I shop at this location a lot and I love it! Tracy (I believe) who works the floor is always very helpful. The two women that frequently run the registers are great (the one lady is a little “no nonsense” but in a good way) and Dave who works on the dock is always very helpful and makes sure the guys over there are on top of things. The only way to improve my shopping experience was if there was more stuff to buy and longer hours! I’ll definitely be back. 😁👍
Wholesale building apartment to find all kinds of stuff in there
I love this place! The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have everything thats on or in a house. Fantastic prices! Inventory changes daily
No matter what you need...you can find it here...and then some! Fair prices for Quality items. Ill definitely be going back!
Great I will be going back gir my eye on somethings
Shoutout to ReStore for making used furniture beautiful as well as affordable. I have been searching online for a large dresser for a good price and they are SO expensive! On my first trip to ReStore I found a large Oak dresser for $85. Also, the employees who helped me were very kind. A good place to go for furniture as well as to donate used household items. Thanks ReStore!
I cant believe the prices, extremely high for someone on an average income. This store is catering contractors and business owners.
Very well organized. Friendly staff. Always something to buy.
My husband is a general contractor and we went to habitat yesterday with a whole load of great material. They told us they are not taking anything at this time, so we threw the whole load out. Very disappointing..................
That has to be some of the most ignorantly overpriced damaged goods that Ive ever seen. I will not go back
Nice store with alot of new furniture thats still on the pricey side
Never going there again literally had bed bugs on the new furniture and the staff keeps taking their maskes off for any reason
Great place . The essence of repurposing found here!
Nice friendly staff and they have a lot of stuff there.
Big warehouse full of stuff for the house. Prices are decent, except some of the nicer or antique furniture is priced higher than I would expect. I think they do come down on the prices after so long, though. All the clerks there are friendly, but Shondra (at the register) is the absolute best. She used to work at the old Unique Thrift on Lorain at Fulton, and she really knows how to treat people. We come in just to see her.
Best place to find supplies for repairs to older homes. Great furniture finds for kids first apartment
Good variety of building materials and household goods, however, slow moving items should have prices dropped for quick sale.
Always find what I need. Very affordable!
Great way to recycle, reuse, and rediscover. They accept lots of different items for donation like unused wood, pipes, tiles, carpet and some items gently used. Please call to see all the items they accept they will even come and pick up items from you. All items that are sold in ReStore goes towards construction of houses for families ♥️
Habitat is a great place to find bargains you never know what you might find and the whole program supports a great cause homes for families its great
They have a lot of cool stuff and decent prices but pay attention some stuff is broken or over priced. Its all donated. Parking can be tight if busy. Overall worth checking out.
Ok. I wish they had a more efficient (safer, because of the narrow backstreet of heavy 2- way traffic) way to pick up large merchandise by truck
Excellent staff! Nice selections.
Always a great find at a great price!! Thanks Habitat for Humanity Restore!!
Ridiculously over priced for used merchandise. They should be ashamed of how much of a rip off they are. Acquired for free yet sold for 5x what they are worth.
This is an essential store. Emergency home repairs can’t wait until May. Home Depot is open but poor people don’t have that kind of money. This can’t wait until May
Used to love..but theyre prices are just as high as buying new...dont waste your time!
Prices are very high for Ashley furniture pieces. Limited selection of used washers.
Its been awhile since Ive been there theyve taken over another building and you just have to go there and see for yourself
Friendly staff and vollenteers. I think the prices are high fo a resale shop...In some cases, they are retail.
Better than ever! Very neat and orderly so its easy to find things and the prices cant be beat. Everything from recovered leaded glass windows and Architectural Salvage to kitchen cabinets to door knobs! And I love supporting the cause of providing people with homes.
Always a good time checking it out even if we dont find anything were looking for. We have bought quite a bit from here and there are so many hidden treasures for out projects.
Super friendly staff
Called a few different stores for info before I made the drive. Jeanette is officially the most helpful retail employee to ever answer the phone. After our conversation I stopped calling & started driving! Kudos for taking the time to answer my questions thoroughly!
This place is my aid into a healthier living. And the ingredients are fresh so the drinks taste really really good. That’s my word on everything I know. Just try the coconut water. The only way it can taste that way is if it’s fresh.
I love shopping there, its a great place & the employees are polite & helpful!
Im disappointed with what this place is becoming 3 years ago I entered this store and everything was reasonably priced i went in there 2 days ago and now the prices have gone up so dramatically you might as well buy new ...
Never again will i go to habitat for humanity,i was threatened by the manager kevin kelly and was told to leave because i would not wear a mask, freedom??in our society we could be killed at any time for 1000 different reasons,im least scared of viruss...
Brought a few things but for the most part way too expensive for items that are donated. They should lower some of the prices
Simply the BEST thrifting...
I love the bargain.
Excellent place to get doors, sinks, furniture, flooring, light fixtures, lawn and garden supplies, tools and much, much more to fix up your home at unbelievably low prices. Also, donate your unwanted items or fixtures you removed from your house to them. Youll be helping people in need by buying and donating. Now thats something to feel good about.
A variety of used furniture and everything for the home. Prices are very reasonable. I will shop there again.
Horrible customer service I called just to ask a simple question. Got hung up on twice.
Donating our couch was a quick and easy. However, the workers were kinda rude.
Make sure you have plenty of time to browse! There are all kinds of treasures here, from ( sometimes) vintage pink bathroom fixtures to furniture, cabinets, building supplies, doors, windows... Well, you get the idea. If you need inexpensive home building/furnishing supplies, check here first and have fun!
I bought a 200$ fridge from here about 2 hours ago. Used a man Habitat for humanity recommended. The man charged me $40 to move the fridge to my house. The delivery guy broke the door to the fridge. Left the thing in my living room. He told me I just delivered it, what do you want me to do about it. Habitat for humanity told me theres nothing you can do. The delivery guy told me he isnt doing anything about it. Police say civil matter. Nothing they can do. So Im out of $240, still no fridge and I have my grandson here a lot so what am I supposed to do with his bottles?
Found some Italian Ceramic tile for my Bathroom for $40 a box!
No problems great experience
Manager was real ruled I will never go there again they are trying to sell things like if it was brand new when you guys get everything for free
It was sanitizing good during the pandemic. Friendly employees also. Id go back
I bought a washer and dryer here for a nice price for both
I went there today its been a while since Ive stopped in. I dont like the renovation, the entrance is nice but I feel like they had a few better items before renovation. The staff sucks. Talked to one of the younger male workers today, he had this look on his face of not wanting to be bothered. The atmosphere is not welcoming at all.
The resell store for home goods ever and you helping the homeless of Cleveland
Didnt find what I needed. Thought somethings were over priced.
You can find some truly amazing things at ReStores, but Ive found that thus location lacks a lot of the really great bargains that Ive found in other locations. I am standing on a rug and illuminated by a light that came from a ReStore, but not this one. Its all cyclical... And the inventory frequently changes, so maybe theres hope yet!!
A very resourceful place with great deals on all your needs...
Always the best. Usually pretty reasonable prices, helpful staff and sometimes youll find some real gems.
Used to be a great place to bargain hunt. Those days are long gone
My company works with this Habitat affiliate and they are top-knotch! Very attentive and caring staff. My entire company enjoys working GCHFH.
Really great treasures you can get beautiful furniture at reasonable prices. Will return
Good selection most of the time. Inventory changes daily so you never know what treasures you will find. Tools, furniture, odds and ends of hardware. I go at least monthly juat to see what is new.
I love this store. So much stuff and great prices. Friendly people and clean.
If you do not want to get banned from this place for doing absolutely nothing I would not recommend going to this store i donate something and is shop there and I get treated nasty by most of the employees there and I spoke with the manager and he got real nasty with me and banned me from ever going to their store ever again so I would not buy their friendly act
This place could use more helpful people.
Price gouging for extremely over-priced, dirty junk. Many of the ReStores items are filthy, and are so over-priced, that they are close to retail! The items are so marked up, that they are still a rip-off at 75% off!Do not waist your time here, unless you like grossly over-paying for dirty, used yard sale items. Very, very disappointing.
Come here almost every other weekend just to see what I can find in the electronics section. Usually prices are close to that of a good garage or yard sale. Sometimes you find new stuff, sometimes you find old stuff, just depends on what people bring in! Will always be back to find more.
Found AWESOME old church doors that we turned into tables for our flower shop... This store is so fun to go look through, you never know what youre going to find here! Only thing is, the hours are kind of rough!
Love this place!!! I come here at least twice a week. Affordable and could find some awesome stuff.
Awesome, attentive, jovial, and plentiful staff here. Some things seem pricey (considering I have seen the same item or better on the treelawn more than once), but deals and markdowns abound, often hiding in plain sight. Got a nice set of two hardcase Samsonite luggage in light blue for $3 total ($1 carry-on size and $2 for a large one)!
Love this place. Found great deals on some great things. I love just going in and checking out what they have
This store is really awesome .Ive only been able to make it there once due to the fact that I work the hours that is open and when Im off on the weekend theyre closed I wish they would open at least one weekend day.
