I waited to the last minute to get a costume for Halloween and they still had a good selection great store

Its a smaller version of Party City. It cares the exact same products as Party City but some pricing and services are higher.*Its located in a suburban area of Cleveland.(about a 1hr drive fr9m downtown Cleveland) Easy access from freeway or on city street (Mayfield Rd.)*I like this store because it gives you a mom and pop vibe upon entering.The staff do greet you at the door but after that, your on your own.*I bought decorations for a birthday party.*I would have gave 4 stars but not one staff walked up to me to offer their services. Finally after 10 min in the store, I asked for help.

Love this storeI have patronize this location for years.They always have what I need for any celebration.However last night I was slightly overcharged.I asked the yound lady at check out was the amount correct. She said What.I proceeded out check my merchandise in the car she had rang amounts that I didnt purchase.Went back in and explained she had over charged me. I got a What, Whats the problem.So I explained it again she said the manager can help you very uninterested.The manager was very helpful took care of this well and tried to show the associate were she overcharged she was not interested.It would be nice for this sales associate to have a crash course in customer service. Everyone is not as patient and considerate as me when it comes to this type of unprofessional behavior.Thank youValued Customer

Ive never shopped here before today and I was pleasantly surprised at how much they had to offer. Even in peak graduation time they had a robust selection of graduation items and were quickly servicing customers. I will visit here again.

Horrible place, horrible manager. Waste of time, do not come to get your balloons here as they usually only last a couple hours. Have had bad experiences at this shop before with the rude employees. no one to help. Avoid this store overall it’s a headache.

Looks like they may be having supply chain issues as many balloons were out of stock. Many items lack Pricing information too. That said, the selection was good, staff were helpful and they were open until nine.

This place is a rip off when it comes to the balloon service. They charge a lot of money and the balloons deflate the same day. I’ve ordered from this store several times for large balloon orders and have been disappointed several times. I wanted to give them another chance but I won’t be returning here again.

The have a great selection but no staff to help. If you know what you want and dont need any help, it is ok. Maybe they are short staffed due to Covid. I may revisit to see if things get better.

Loved going in here today! The store is well organized and it’s easy to stroll along the wide isles and browse, or run in and grab just what you need. Really something for everyone. At the counter, the staff was beyond kind and giving, the type of people that make a place good to be in!

Hours on the store indicate that they close at 5, we arrived at 4:30 and they were closed. Waste of the drive down here.

Great place for buying theme items for graduations, birthdays and other parties. Great selection of mylar balloons. Favorite place to buy party supplies.

Bad customer service. I was waiting to have my balloons blown up while the manager was counting money from the register and another worker was walking around the store doing whatever she was doing. When I brought it to the manager’s attention that I was waiting for balloons while she and the other worker did other things, she offered excuses and told me that they each have their own responsibilities and there was only one person on balloons. That one person had already set my balloons aside to ring the next customer. (Mind you... I saw that same manager blowing up balloons earlier before I checked out) The only reason why I didn’t ask for a refund was because I really needed to get the balloons for a sick friend and my time was limited.

I just had the absolute worst experience here after being a pretty loyal customer for a number of years. First, I had to practically chase one of the employees down to ask where the party poppers were. She said, “if we have any, they’d be in aisle 9.” spun around, and walked away.Same girl rang me up after I found everything I needed, which was three items that cost 1.99 and two marked at 3.00. First total she came up with was over $200. She looked confused, subtracted a few things and then voided the sale. Second total she came up with was $15.09. I handed her a $20, and said that didn’t sound right either. She handed me change, ignored me and started ringing the next customer. I checked the bag to make sure my math was right and told her that it was wrong. I let her finish the sale with that customer, because obviously multitasking is not in her skill set. She didn’t understand why the total wasn’t right. I explained that 3 items at 1.99 is 5.97, and two items at 3.00 is 6.00, so was I charged $3.12 in TAX?? She said “the register did that, not me.”Then she called over the acting manager. Things did not get better from there. No one apologized, they stood there trying to figure out the math for 10 minutes. Rang it up again totaling somewhere around $19 this time, made me fill out a return slip, and handed me $15.08. Then the manager turned around and started doing something on the copy machine with zero explanation. I said at one point why don’t you just give me the $2.15? She told me that that’s not how it works. I stood there for another five minutes being ignored, and decided to cut my losses at one penny and walked out the door with my things still on the counter.I cannot believe that anyone is allowed to work a register who does not know simple math. The only person I have encountered in the store that gives a damn is the tall male manager. I really try to support small businesses, but I will have a hard time ever going back in that place.

I love Party Place! They have the best balloons, and they are super organized. Their customer service is amazing! Everyone is always so helpful, and willing to help out. Today, Jessica really went out of her way to help me create my sons 2nd Birthday Toy Story themed balloons. She was super organized, and had great suggestions. She even found specific balloons that I couldnt find anywhere. I highly recommend them for their product, but also for their employees.

My mother and I stopped in to look for balloons for my grandfathers 90th birthday. As soon as we walked in Katherine ( I believe) immediately stopped stocking on a ladder and helped us find a helium tank . Jessica was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She even blew up a couple balloons for us so we could see the colors. The customer service was outstanding and really helped make the process easy .

Terrible customer service. The employee who took our order was spaced out. She could barely speak. We asked 3 times for hi float in balloons to last 24 hrs and 12 hours later they are on the floor. Balloons were only partially filled to begin with. Came to the counter wanting to purchase 12 balloons and was told we could only have 8. Another customer left angry about how they were treated as well. Staff was obnoxiously sarcastic after the disgruntled woman left. Items are overpriced as well. Won’t be returning.

This store is such a fun place to shop, the manager took his time with me helping pick out supplies for a big party I had for my daughters birthday. I drive from Mentor to Mayfield because I prefer place place over party city

They were very helpful and when some of my balloons burst they allowed me to come back and have them replaced no additional cost

Needed a few specific items for our church. I googled them & saw party place had them in stock. When I called the mgr was so helpful. He knew exactly what I was looking for & had the items in stock. When I got to the store he had everything ready at the counter. It was exactly what we wanted. Been back several times since & its always the same great service.

I needed crepe paper streamers, which is more difficult to find than I thought it would be. I was able to find them after wandering around for about 10 minutes, they were hidden behind a displcay of costumes. I assume that the store was disorganized because of Halloween. There were only two employees on the Friday night I visited, too few for the amount of traffic going in and out on the weekend before Halloween. A good amount of party supplies are available here with the usual themes for childrens parties. If you need anything for wedding or baby showers this is the place to find them. Just try not to need them on a Friday before a holiday.

Great store for party supplies. It can be overwhelming for some with the amount of products in the store.

It was my first time stopping by this place the store is very clean and well organized..but the young man employees Not friendly at all so dawm serious like he doesnt wants to be at work or be bother thats my first impression of him not good when you have too deal with customers...sad..for my first time stopping there..

This store has a large selection of costume and party supplies. The staff were pleasant but needed direction. The only rooms available for trying on costumes were the restrooms, which were very dirty.

This is the most unorganized unprofessional business. Its all young kids including the manager. They are rude and appeared to be impaired. I went there twice and it was the same both times. I left and went to party city in Willoughby. They had everything including no shortage of hillium. They were nice and professional and less expensive. Very busy, worth the drive and wait. I will never go into party place agzin.

Really unique items and a lot of them. However the store itself looks kinda of run down. Wish they would put some money into fixing it up cause its a great find.

Then the worker in the front askedI needed something, I informed him ballooons he said I can help with that and then proceeded to walk away. Extremely over priced. I only go there got items I cant get anywhere else. But there customer service leaves a lot top be desired, shop I typically will try to purchase online before going here.

It its early August, back-to-school tax holiday weekend. While I missed any back to school stuff (signs etc.) I did see the large portion of the store that was in boxes I guess held Holloween stuff. I get its a huge money maker but maybe a little more organization, and moderzaton if the store would have gone a long way...this location always feels...tired.

Havent been there in a while but when I went back around halloween, they had a hamster kept in a tiny cage as like a work pet im assuming and it was horrible.
