Extremely friendly people. I had to wait at least 5 minutes for them to cut the plexiglass for my window. They probably have everything you need. The 1st place I called was Andys on Pearl rd. They told me it would cost me over $130.00 for a piece of plexiglass. I just saved myself $100. It was $30 at Castros on Clark by W.43rd. Ill definitely be going back there!

I went to Castros hardware for as long as I can remember.. my parents went there when I was younger and as I got older and started working I go there my boss goes there... They are the sweetest people Ive ever met in a hardware they will bend over backwards to help you

One of my favourite local hardware stores. Super nice people, and the store is different than many other similar places in that it is not covered in dust. They obviously take pride in the place and I love spending money here. They have items that are unique to the neighborhood too.

9/10 they have exactly what I need and if they don’t I’m always directed to the right place! Definitely make this your go to before stopping at any other hardware store!

I really wanted to check out this store, but they did not let me put my bike in the store which I understand but my bike is a $. 500 bike and they wanted me too locked up outside but there is nothing solid to lock it up. The guy in there was pretty rude and told me to get out of the store so I did tell him to go f himself. Probably a good store but no social skills!!!!!

I prefer to support local and small businesses, like many of us. From going to this location over 20 times, and not being a soft skinned individual, I can tell you two things about this store: They either dont have it, or they have it hidden in some darkened corner in which the lady who works/owns? the store is purely annoyed at any questions.Literally. 20 times. Same result. Not soft skinned. Id rather drive 15 minutes to HD where staff that are complete strangers are pleasant to me. Dear lady, if you are reading this, you dont have to be pompous and annoyed by every question. It cost you at least one customer who gave you many chances.

I love Castros hardware is the place to go when you need something for your house is a clean place good prices and friendly people i go there every time I need to do some repairs around the house go and see for yourself...

Came here for the first time today. Way better service than Home Depot and helped me fix the plumbing problem Home Depot couldn’t. Highly recommend and will be coming here first from now on.

Open on thanksgiving day, was the only place I could get a thermocouple for my old water heater. Super nice lady helped me, and it was cheaper than I could find online. 10/10 would visit again.

Rude over the phone, probably or dont care loosing customers over first experiences, need to learn people skills. Lady was annoyed made me feel as if I should know already the answer to the questions as if because she knows and works at a hardware store everyone should have the same level of knowledge as her.

Walked in with only a vague idea of what I needed, but the owner figured it out--not only had the solution, but installed it on the spot. Not a huge store, but the owner is smart enough to pick one each, rather than have multiple brands for the same thing. Lots of different items in a small place. And they sell tomatoes and bananas!
