Great store. They are fully stocked. I love This place. You get help If you need it too.
Great location. I hope they reopen the upper level soon. The Starbucks cafe is amazing and the baristas were very nice. I visited the location on a Saturday evening and there were a lot of patrons. However, a worker still found me in one of the aisles and asked if I needed help. All of the workers and cashiers were very friendly. Great sale items as well.
It is always a good place where we can find a good book.Sessions are well divided and easy to find. Staff are very helpful and polite. And when you need help, they are ready to answer any questions and help you find what the customer is looking for. Not to mention that there is a good place for a good coffee! Its worth visiting!
Very spacious for a peaceful walk. Pure peace of mind. Friendly service. Useful products. And, of course, wide range of good products. 👍
Riley, my cashier, was the nicest, sweetest person when I checked out. All cashiers are nice !! Dont want it to seem like they arent lol. I might add they add a huge selection of crossword puzzle books. I had to get 4!! Barnes and Nobles never fails when it comes to getting that new release that youve been wanting to read while lazing by the pool or beach. All genres!!
They are great as usual. I was just hoping to have the experience without the renovation while open. Otherwise one of the best Barns And Nobles in the area in my opinion!
I have always loved going to B&N, so to do so after a very long time was great. The store has changed a bit since Ive been there - some sections have expanded, some reduced, and some moved to different areas of the store. But as a hold the actual book in my hands book nerd, it was good to go back.
Very large location with so many media options from books, games, events, gifts, magizens, cards, music and toys. There is a Starbucks located inside the store. With plenty of seating. They have a huge selection of books. Employees are very helpful and don’t hide from the customers which is great, especially when you need help finding a section or particular book.Currently they are working on a renovation but they are still open. I can’t wait to see what the improvements are. It was already my favorite Barnes & Noble location to visit..
One of the bigger stores Ive been in really nice location, it is a little awkward getting in and out of the shopping center its located in but you get used to it after the first couple trips. Would be cool if they had the occasional poetry event or something along those lines to really engage with the community
This Barnes and Noble in Clifton, New Jersey I usually enjoy visiting. It has a lot of the fantasy and science fiction books that I love . It has a diverse selection of books in their own individual categories. The cafe is ok. Nice and spacious. I don’t recommend the cafe if you don’t have a membership because the prices are insane. Go to a regular Starbucks instead. Some of the staff are friendly and some are miserable there just collecting a pay check. I’ve run into both kinds. I’ve worked in the past for Barnes and Noble and I know how to deliver top customer service while not waisting the customers time.
Employees are helpful when asked about certain books and genres. It was a pleasant visit. Very spacious and they are currently trying to expand and renovate a section.
Who doesnt love B&N?!? You can sit there and sip on Starbucks and lose yourself in a good book. Check out a cool game night game or a puzzle. Even discover that vinyl youve been looking to find.Kids section - always a great find there for sure.
Its always great to visit this location. They are currently renovating, and some of the books arent available.
I enjoy the selection of books although I appreciate the prices of Amazon. Im also sad that the seats have been removed. A leisurely afternoon in the bookstore used to be great.
Great store. Well organized as well. Just all around great. Kept clean. Super friendly. Easy to find anything you want too.
It was nice to be in a bookstore again, Barnes and nobles has always been a very good place to shop for any of your reading materials especially for young children as their youth section is very large at this location. They also had a variety of toys and collectible items available for sale. I am a little saddened to see that some of the sections such as the self-help, are smaller than they used to be. They also seem to have shrunken down the wedding and marriage sections. They also have a very squeaky escalator which every so often would scream out and in a very quiet building, Id imagine it sounded louder than it actually was. Otherwise it was very clean including the bathrooms, well organized, and all of the racks were kept tidy. The staff was very attentive, and friendly. I would return
I enjoy this place! My niece lovessss this place so we go here often. The only diff I can notice, is that the 2nd fl. Is currently closed. The great thing is that Starbucks is now open with seating options yayyy!
My daughter is doing the barnes and noble summer reading list. They suggested some really good books and shes reading more.
Helpful, interested sales person. found qhat I wanted easily.
Enjoyed a cold brew in the cafe while I read a good book. Nice to be surrounded by books and able to relax.
Very big and great selection. Been coming since childhood. I love it here.
I generally love this store, it has a wide selection of books and a nice environment. They are undergoing construction and therefore everything is a bit cramped.
Always a fine place to buy a new journal, browse books, have a coffee and relax. Plenty of sales, and parking and conveniently located off Rt 3 in the Clifton Commons area.
Its great my experience was good they expanded the manga section and while I was there I bought No longer Human by Osamu Dazai and 2 had there edge a bit ripped but luckily I found one that wasnt damaged but overall it was a great experience!
Its Barnes and Noble. How can you not love the place. Ours seems to be renovating
I give them 5 stars due to the professional and helpful staff.
Life changing. Im never going to be the same because there was a baby getting changed on the Starbucks floor and Im totes shook.
Old fashion reading luv the smell of paper
Well stocked, spacious and friendly staff.
Whenever I’ve been to Barnes and Noble I’ve never wanted to leave. There is a wide selection of books and puzzles, they’re too of my favorite things. The staff is nice and I haven’t ordered from the small Starbucks there but I will be sure to try it out eventually. 11 stars out of five.
Love B&N. THIS ONE IS 2 LEVELS, PLENTY TO LOOK AT IN SO MANY CATEGORIES. SOME DISARRAY WITH LOOKS LIKE IMPROVEMENTS UNDERWAY
Extremely helpful staff! One of the employees saw me looking in the history section, asked what I was looking for, and then went back to research and found the exact kind of book I needed to round out my thesis. Couldn’t be more appreciative.
It the best plce to read a book and have a ice coffee
Great variety and seems to be undergoing expansion.
In midst of remodel but still large store with good selection
Nice, quite and decent place. Star bucks is a plus. My kids and I got our drink and read our books!
One of the last brick and morter bookstores left!! If you want to ACTUALLY go and buy a book in real life this is the one to go!! Its reall big. They have a great selection and a mini Starbucks inside as well. Friendly and knowledgeable staff will help you with all of your needs. The store looks immaculate 👌👌
This barnes and nobles has so many selections of everything. I used to get kids books there when I was younger but yesterday I got manga. Their manga selection was HUGE, they have everything and the latest of everything.
I love shopping here for manga, and if you’re a manga collector, here’s some advice, barnes and noble like to put up some volumes earlier than others
The aroma of coffee hits you as you enter the shop, the vibes, the energy. Different sections are well arranged and organized. The guy at the customer service is awesome as well.
Clean and not too crowded but didnt have what I was looking for.
This B&N has about half of the inventory of when the company was in its hay day. I went there looking to buy some books and/or magazines about bathroom remodel and they had exactly one book. I saw only three on the shelf about kitchen renovation. So of course I went home and ordered five books from Amazon.I tried the cookbook section next to buy Mark Bittmans book How to cook Everything Vegetarian. They had exactly one copy on the shelf.Im not inclined to return. Amazon is always stocked, I dont have to pay the jacket price and I dont have to leave my house. Sad to say, B&N has lost my business. I wish it werent so.
This place is great for discovering new books. My son loves puzzles. Great place to be by yourself or with your family. There is something for everyone.
Very nice to have a good time with a cup of coffee
I do love my books
Biggest Barnes & Noble Ive ever been to. I went to get some games and puzzles. They have a great selection of them. Try it out
I am very happy to be able to go back inside. I love this place
Relaxing store, good books, great service.
Clean bathrooms, nice store. Went to the cafe
Great customer service and great selection of books.
Great place. Last bastion of live books
Awesome place great selections on everything. Has a starbucks but limited menu but this place is a go to for me and my girls.
You gotta love books at any age. Plain and simple.
Awesome service! perfect!
I enjoy walking into Barnes and Nobles. This location is sweet as well with ample parking and Handicapped ♿ ✔️✅ accessable. The Cashiers lack of experience is a Turn offAlthough she was willing to work with me, i wasnt too happy that she wasnt sure of the stores selection, Or her willingness to provide me assistance with Someone That Would know what Im looking for.The subject is, political Science. The topic is, how to Become a public official in the State of New Jersey. She referred me to Google. So I politely accepted to search it up without her help; And that lost 2 whole stars.Because its a shame to refer someone to a product that is in a working conjunction to take you guys out of business
I used to go to this store probably 10 years ago. Over time the attitude of the people at the register has changed. The reps at register were rude and they treat people differently. I went to return an item and the clerk was insisting I did not by that item from their store, even though I had the receipt and the receipt had the address. No matter how I explained the person did not seem to have understanding of the right logic. Prior to that I had an experience where my credit card would not work (chip malfunction) and they took it as its a fake card and grabbed it from me. I will never go to this store again.
Emily was such a help! I had forgotten to ask for a gift receipt, and had already paid. Emily asked me and got me the receipt Pronto. They make it easy at B&N in Clifton!
Great place to shop for books and gifts. Toy selection is great. Staff is very helpful.
Love that this Barnes and noble has a “surprise” book where they wrap a book and give a mini description to be surprised with what book you get. It was only $6 too.
Great store. Nice layout. Like the upstairs section having mainly kids items. Friendly and helpful staff too.
A very nice barnes and noble, great layout and very clean
Great serene place. Great choices, not bad pricing. Always a favorite
Always good to go and buy books here, especially if youre a bookworm. Heck, even if youre not into reading, theres games you can buy along with manga, graphic novels, vinyls and DVDs. I even just go here to look around and see whats new, theres just something that draws you in. Also the Starbucks isnt half bad, though I wish they would bring back the buy one get one free deal for cookies. I love the cookies. The staff are so helpful and nice too!
I never leave without several purchases. The staff are helpful and friendly. I always enjoy visiting this store.
Its calm, cozy, and always a great time for anyone! Always such great memories being here!
A great place to purchase books. Ive always been a bookworm. I can spend hours reading everything from computer related technology books to Shakespeare, Jeffrey Chaucer to books involving Theology. But you couldnt get me to read any online books regardless of subject matter even if you paid me.
I enjoy the quiet atmosphere, and social distancing during this pandemic is great. I dont feel out of place while browsing through books. Nice place to go if your looking for a read, though I do wish someone would have atleast came to me and asked if I needed help. Overall 2 thumbs up.
The place looks amazing, everything well organized and doesn’t look old, it has electric escalators, and a cafe. You will be delighted by the variety, and how they have a section for every public.
The best place to get lost in your own little world. It’s so cozy and organized here! The staff is also really sweet and accommodating. I called before coming to see if something was in stock, the lady that answered told me it was, where to find it and the price of it! They price match if the price online is cheaper. It can be a bit expensive but honestly the organization, easiness and politeness of the staff make it so worth it. Love this place. ((The starbucks employees are super sweet as well))
😎 awesome bookstore,clean, Starbucks inside,kids place
B&N is always great. Helpful staff and tons of variety. My only complaint is that they didnt have Pokémon cards!
Well stocked, good looking store, staff helpful and knowledgeable.
Barnes and noble is pretty good place to look at books and other cool things. I would say you should bring a friend with you to make the experience even better. If you want to books, I recommend not getting it at the store because it is a bit expensive. However if you really want the book that interest you I say get it.
Great collection. But the prices are stratospheric. Also, got kicked out to 28 degrees F while waiting for an uber Cause it was 9 pm.
Empty while doing construction
Spacious. Nice collection of Manga that is hard to find elsewhere in North Jersey.
I bought an item and when I got home there were pieces missing and it was obvious once I opened the box someone had returned it. Too bad management cant make sure their team doesnt put returned items with missing pieces back on the shelf. Such an inconvenience to customers. I am trying to support big box stores, but they dont seem to care if customers continue to shop at their stores.
I mostly go here for the Starbucks cafe. I love the iced tea and appreciate the promotions offered
Bought a few things liked
