Its the second Indian store I visited, spices ar similar but bigger variety of vegetables and rice, prices are low. MOST IMPORTANT WORKERS AR SUPER NICE AND FRIENDLY. I recommend !!! 👌

Wanted to like this place, looks clean and nicely stocked, but found white stickers covering up the “best before” dates on some products - I could see through the sticker that one product was best before July 2019. It’s January 2021 right now. No thanks.

When Im close by and need to do some grocery shopping, this is my go to place. I really like the friendly atmosphere and customer service, prices are also good. The only reason why I only gave them 4 stars is because Ill love to see a little more variety of vegetables and fruits. Overall, it has been 3 nice experiences.

I love the owners and really hesitant to write this post. Anything frozen I have gotten either has mold on it or expired. They replaced the freezers last year and I guess some food still sat there when they were being installed. I have purchased frozen kababs and the entire package had mold on it. Still gave it a benefit of doubt. I went to got some frozen naans and those had turned green. I Honestly my last trip there I went and checked the expiration dates and most are expired. The prices do not match what’s listed below them. Unfortunately- due to this experiences I will resume going to Narmada it’s honestly worth the drive. My neighbors also have had the same experiences and all prefer to go to another store. I do not recommend getting anything frozen from this place. :(

Not very pleased with the customer service i got in the market. I was just shopping for things for a recipe im cooking, and observing the store for a international cusine class. I was only taking pictures of some of the isles just to make my market #1 questionare easier for me but a cashier thought i was being suspicious. she told me that its not allowed without permission and i told her that i just wanted to take pictures for market observation for a class but she was like still, its not allowed. AND I WAS FORCED TO DELETE THEM and she ASKED me if she can see MY PHONE to see if i really deleted them!!! Im not doing anything illegal or suspicicous but they thought i was. Idk if i should come to this market again without being looked upon as a dangerous person. Im just a regular customer just like everyone else. Many people who took and send pcitures of the isles got away of taking the pictures of the isles and sending it to google reviews or whatever review website. I never even intend to do anything like this to expose or slander anyone!!! This type of treatment that i got that day (3/6/2021) really hurt my feelings in many ways. And i really dont know if i should come back without being looked as a bad person and to be policed around. SHAME!!! i should feel welcomed in the environemnt and feel free without getting yelled at for the pettiest reasons. The italian bakery had no problem with me taking pics at their restaurant. Thats no excuse why i cant take pics to observe just because its not allowed and they think i would do something suspicious. please change the way u treat customers like this next time. This is one of the reasons why clifton nj is such a toxic town to live in since 4th grade, middle school and high school. Its a shame that clifton didnt change their poor attitudes towards certain people.

Alert to all the customers please do check the manufacture date, last time my sister bought Indian snacks ; different variety of kurkure, wai wai and pickle which were sadly expired. They covered the manufacture date with the new sticker on it. We were careless back then becoz of Covid 19 we wanted to get out of the store as soon as possible. If there’s option then I would definitely attach the pics of expired snacks and pickle.

This store seems to be very popular with people from India that are shopping for home food. But it also has a large variety of fruits and vegetables for anyone in the neighborhood that needs them.They also sell milk and an entire row snacks that we are trying one by one as we work our way down the aisle! Mind you being from India some of these snacks can be spicy so we do read the details, not that we mind the spicy.The prices are right on par with what youd expect to pay for these foods as well, so there is no overpaying simply because its a local place thats saving you time from driving far, to a larger store.The cashiers working here friendly and always smiling engaging conversation when we make our purchases.They also have a refrigerator of cold drinks from the regular Coca-Cola/ Pepsi products to other ones that are more exotic which we are now trying one by one as well!

Good grocery store for basic groceries. Their snack aisle seems too big in comparison to the other aisles. Wish they had more shan options or frozen goods instead.

Worst place to pick vegetables. None of them is fresh. Brinjal was full of seeds and half of them rotten from inside. Arbi had stems growing out. Even their other commodities also expired atleast a week ago from the day we visited. For instance, maggi; fresh roti - everything expired a while ago. Being a clifton resident, wanted to try out this place since it is the closest one. But never again will visit this place. Extremely poor management and certainly not deemed to claim as grocery store. Please don’t choose this place even during emergencies.
