Danny Miller went above and beyond to explain the benefits of the different types of carpet. He then re-scheduled our installation when we ran into an issue. The installers, Steve and Aaron, along with one other individual worked quickly and professionally to finish the project with careful attention to not damage any of our personal items. They moved a few furniture items that we had designated that we needed assistance with moving with no complaints.

I purchased carpet through the Costco and Flooring America plan. My partner had done the same previously for her home and a rental and had great success. I appreciated working with the same salesman that she had. The process was easy and as I am selling the home I did not want to invest a lot of money in the project. Danny understood my needs and offered something reasonable that looked great. The installers showed up on time and did a fine job on the installation. They cleaned up and hauled off the old carpet that I had removed. The icing on the cake was receiving a Costco gift card of a nice value! I would definitely use both again.

Jessica was fantastic to work with and very helpful.We first updated our worn oak floors with a charred oak luxury vinyl floor. Once that was complete, we realized that our staircase and upstairs carpet needed updated after 18 years! If you’re wanting good customer service, I’d suggest going elsewhere. My husband and I decided to redo our floors on the entire first floor of our house. We found something we liked and decided to go with Flooring America in Clive. A week or so passed, and we hadn’t heard anything, so I followed up just to see if there was an ETA on when we’d be scheduled so we could plan accordingly. The store manager indicated the product should be shipping the following week and that he’d check again on that Monday. By Friday I’d that following week, I hadn’t heard anything so I reached back out. He responded and indicated a date. The Friday before the week of our install, we hadn’t heard anything about if it was still happening, what needed done prior to them arriving, etc. so I reached out again. Towards the end of the day, still no response so my husband finally called. The manager blamed being on the phone and blamed another worker saying she had arrived late and hadn’t gotten around to call us. He also lied to my husband and told him he had called me earlier that month (I only ever corresponded over email). After my husband talked to him, he finally responded to my email ignoring all of my questions and just told me he’d be in that day and the next if we wanted to go in to pay the remaining balance. By this point, we were fed up with his attitude and poor customer service so we wanted to cancel. We did so and the manager was once again less than friendly when we went to get our refund and flooring product. So glad we found someone else to do our floors. They also require payment in full before the install is even started, which is absurd. If you value customer service, spend your money elsewhere!UPDATE: I was contacted by the HR/marketing person, and they were extremely helpful and apologetic for our experience. We also met another salesperson who was night and day different from the person we initially dealt with. He was super nice and willing to help. We found out just prior to them reaching out that the floor we bought wasn’t going to work for us long-term as it wasn’t scratch resistant like we thought, and the owner allowed us to return the product without any cancellation fee. While we are still having someone else do our floors, I did appreciate them reaching out to make things right. Customer service goes a long way!

We just finished building a new home, and Alison Gaskell was a tremendously helpful salesperson. Quite simply she was the best person of all of the trades that we worked with. She ALWAYS answered her phone or emails expeditiously. This responsiveness was important to us. She knew the different flooring options in depth, and always was willing to give an opinion when we needed help making a decision. We liked her professionalism so much that we ended up purchasing all of our tile needs from Flooring America as well. We did not intend to do so, but Alison made the process seamless. Alison had pictures to help us make decisions when we were uncertain of something. She guided us in the right direction with grout colors by explaining how the light grout would make the tile appear; and likewise dark grout. Recommended that we use epoxy grout to keep it from staining. Alison was on-site several times to make sure the flooring and tile installers were getting everything they needed on time, and to provide samples that we could see in the lighting of our house. She made sure that installation was completed by quality tradespeople, and they did a fantastic job on installation. I wish all retailers could be this level of customer service!

I had about given up on having actual help at a store selling flooring. My previous experience had me hiring my own subcontractor and ultimately us doing the work ourselves. Upon entering the store, I was immediately helped by Raunie, but not in an annoying over-the-top way, just very helpful. I now have gorgeous floors in my bathroom in a short amount of time and it didnt break the bank, either. The contractor who did the installation was professional and fast and tidy. I was shopping around for some new floors and was in some big box stores and our last stop was flooring America and I’m glad it was. Raunie Dardis helped us out and really educated us on the differences in flooring. We had it measured and he helped us pick out what we liked and quoted us on it. Then re-quoted us many more times as my wife kept changing her mind, and he did it quickly with a smile on his face. Raunie kept us informed all the way up to installation where Francisco and Victor knocked it out of the park and made it look perfect. Had a GREAT experience with Flooring America regarding their help on our whole house renovation project. Jaci at Flooring America was so helpful in assisting us in finding the perfect carpet! We are very pleased with the carpet and the installer did an amazing job!! Will return to Flooring America in the future for any flooring needs we have. Highly recommend.

My wife and I had Dana and his team install carpet in our home. The work took less than 1 day and they went above and beyond to make sure we satisfied with the outcome of the project. 5 stars doesnt do them justice. They really are one of the best companies we have ever worked with.

We had a new build with a lot of decisions to make plus we were moving from another state. This required us to be very efficient on the couple of days we were in Iowa and then do all follow-up via email and phone. Alison Gaskell did a great job for us. She was knowledgeable and very patient and worked hard to help us sort through the many options until we had selections we were happy with. Couldnt be more pleased!

Flooring America and the entire team did a great job helping me figure out what type of flooring to choose. They have a tremendous amount of selections to choose from and the experience can be overwhelming, however they made it easy by asking the right questions and helping us pair carpets with hard surface flooring. I highly recommend them for your flooring needs!

Jaci Wright has helped me on several projects. How refreshing to have a true professional salesperson! Her knowledge of design is a plus, too. As a realtor, I often help sellers pick out flooring for their homes for re-sale, and she saves me so much time by having options available to choose both in stock and special order. She coordinates with the installers (one less phone call to make and schedule). I love that I can refer all of my clients, friends and family to her.

Great experience all the way thru thanks to Danny and Tim. Danny was able to guide me to the right product for my basement and then set up the installation. Tim and his crew were waiting to start at 7am and finished by the end of the day. The carpet tiles look great and I would definitely recommend Danny, Tim and his crew, Flooring America and Costco. Alison did a good job of recommending products to meet our needs, worked around our schedule to organize the installation, and followed up to make sure we were happy with the finished product. The installation team was also a pleasure to work with. They were timely and did a great job of cleaning up at the end of each day.
