Best car dealership I’ve been too since being here, I was extremely nervous due to previous experiences but they made me feel more than comfortable and excited to buy a new vehicle. Elijah McCoy was more than amazing with helping me shop and was extremely patient with my nervousness. Excellent experience! JC Marrufo was the salesman who really set me up with the truck I wanted and even exceeded my expectations. Communication was amazing, anytime I had any questions he was there to help me out right away. All the other dealerships I went to had me sitting in a chair for hours just to be given news that they couldn’t negotiate with me. With JC, I didn’t even have to negotiate. He got everything exactly how I asked right away. Hamilton has definitely earned my future business!

Really hard to describe just what a down home business this is, they level of care, concern, and effort they go though in order to deliver EXCELLENT customer service. Without going through lots of details wife got stranded when the oldest of our 5 Toyotas decided to act up in route to Colorado from Texas. Needless to say the effort that everyone at the dealership put forth to help my stranded wife travelling with dog was amazing, not only did the Service staff Vidal and the tech who worked on my vehicle Daniel where just amazing. Very Disappointed in the customer service and maintenance shop.Recently my buddy had a car towed into Hamilton Toyota because it wasn’t running. The diagnosis came back as “the engine is done”. They quoted him $4,000 to put a new engine in but said “you might as well just get a new car, come take a look at this car” after spending hours looking at vehicles my friend was settled on one car but the dealer was really pushing for a different car. They even tried to offer less money on the trade if he went with the car that he wanted. With all the run around he decided not to buy from Hamilton. I purchased the car that was “done” from my buddy and I did my own diagnosis. Come to find out the car only needed a head gasket that’s costs $100. The most annoying thing of it all was when the maintenance shop took the parts out to do the diagnosis they failed to reinstall the parts and didn’t even put them into the car at all. After I had realized this I called in and they said “we trashed them because we didn’t know what they belonged to”. That mistake ended up costing me an extra $300 in parts that didn’t need replaced. I really hope this helps someone because I’ll never be going back and will advise heavily to anyone that needs a Toyota or Toyota related maintenance to any other dealership or shop. Sad that they try to take advantage of young military men and women.

Dec. 18, 2020 while passing through New Mexico we hit a coyote which disabled our van. Toyota Roadside service arranged to tow our van to Hamilton Toyota in Clovis, New Mexico. We arrived at their door around 8:30 am where they took the van into their shop, looked it over and said they could probably have us back on the road by the end of the day or the next day at the latest depending on parts availability. The entire team was wonderful! They drove to Lubbock, TX for the parts plus the mechanic bent a bar back into shape to hold the radiator and temporarily repaired another part so that we could safely drive the 1,200 miles home. The service dept. stayed 2 hours past closing to accomplish the task along with some of the sales personnel and the dealership manager to keep us company. After spending 12 hours straight with them we would buy a car from them in a heart beat! Derrick and Elijah gave us their cell phone numbers to txt them when we arrived home!!!THANK YOU HAMILTON TOYOTA!!

Took my car in for a oil change and tire rotation. Made the appointment a week ago for 3pm. Left car with them at 2:45pm (early) and never got a call. I go back at 4:30pm and car was still in lot. As I approached the desk in lobby 2 workers were eating full meals where everyones paper work is? Thats professional lol. Eat in the back or in your car.... Asked what the deal was, had no clue so they grabbed the service manager. He comes out says and sorry we can take it back now or do you need your keys? No explanation, no trying to fix it. Been taking my vehicles there for years when Watson owned it. Sorry but that is pathetic. Word of mouth goes along way.

Before Hamilton took over it was great. I bought my Tacoma and they treated me great. Took great care to get me what I wanted and service my Tacoma. First oil change I get after Hamilton takeover and they leave the oil drain plug loose. No big deal, except I was half way to Georgia when I stopped at a gas station and noticed a puddle of oil building under while I was filling up. I crawled under and yup, loose. Had to top it off with 3 quarts. I called the very next morning and they gave me the run around and told me they would have someone call me back. Never heard back. I get around to changing the oil (not at Hamilton, because of the previous reasona and a few other times they have done shady work), and what would you know......im missing bolts to the skid plate that covers the oil filter. Wow, I guess I shouldnt have expected better considering they have never really been good to me.I know sometimes its just bad luck, but when Ive experienced poor service 4 times now and the 4 times Ive had to deal with them. Just disappointed and think very little of their customer service.

Yes I posted a very disappointing bad review the first time. Now I am happy to report an exceptional service report. I had replaced a coolant flow control pump and I was not sure I had done it right because now another code was not clearing. I called spoke to Derrick and he very kind, respectful and understanding, and said that they could service my self fixed to make sure it was working correctly. Dan was good and patient about explaining the workings of the pump and some details of other things that needed attending to. I am quite pleased with the service I had received over all, that I have scheduled an oil change for this week. Thank youwith much gratitude

My car died in Clovis on the was to CA. Went to Hamilton Toyota to see about buying or leasing a new vehicle. Karey helped us look at affordable options gave us recommendations about where to stay and eat in town. She even gave us a loaner vehicle when she found out we didnt have a way to get around. We ended up renting a truck to finish the trip, but Karey was incredibly kind and the consummate professional. Would highly recommend both her and Hamilton Toyota to anyone. I came in for service before the holidays and it took over an hour for them to even get to my truck. I have an extended maintenance plan and the Platinum Warranty through Toyota, but the service manager tried to tell me I didn’t. During the service they discovered a problem with an axel seal, and even though this is covered by my warranty, the service manager again tried to charge me for it. I ended denying them from fixing it and preferred to drive all the way to Lubbock to the dealer there who had no problem finding my warranty, and fixing the problem at no cost to me out of pocket. I will be making the trip down to Lubbock every time i need service in the future as well now.

Poor customer service. Agree with other poor review about parts/service.Updated 11/5/19. I received a letter about extended warranty on 09 Camry dash. I took my car in (when it was RB) they took my VIN & ordered a new dash for my car. I was told it would take several months to get the part in as it was low priority/harder to find. I never got a call back. Several months go by & I call Toyota now owned by Hamilton. Speak with parts & they confirm my part is there. They tell me too much time has passed & they wont replace the dash. I spoke with Toyota HQ people & they contacted Hamilton Toyota. No paperwork can be found on when the dash was ordered. Neither HQ or Hamilton parts department will help.I wrote a 1 star review & the next day I got a call from Shawn Hamilton. I explained the situation and he was very apologetic. He went over to Toyota and confirmed my dash was sitting on their shelf. He calls me back & gets my appointment scheduled and will fix my dash, honoring the warranty. All that being said & to whomever actually reads all this nonsense - it seems that Hamilton Auto does pretty good by their customers. 5 stars for them. I still think Toyota parts & their HQ deserves a 1 star, but Im petty like that. Lastly, being told they (toyota part dept) were fixing the dash but I had to fix my review....no. After receiving a call from Shawn the day after writing this initial review I had decided to fix this. To the obviously bored person that is still reading this - go check out Hamilton. They seem like good people. Thank you Shawn for getting this fixed. I appreciate it.
