Step 1, if youre going to be purchasing leather items often, spend the $$ for elite, or gold at the very least. So, so worth it..Staff was very friendly and helpful. Quickly showed me the new items and gave me a rundown of the where items were located. While Tandy leather locations are typically the same base floor plan, with slight variations per space there will be the inevitable loss of direction even for old hands. If youve never been to a Tandy, step back and take your time so you dont become overwhelmed with the sheer volume of supplies offered.

It smelled amazing in there.

Tons of leather and craft accessories from small inexpensive pieces to huge whole skins. Im not into leathercraft, but found what I needed for a project much cheaper and much better quality than what could be found at the big box craft stores.

I have gone to the Tandy Leather Shop for a number of yrs now thats approx. (42yrs off & on) the staff have always been very helpful and nice, they take the time to answer questions on any of the products. The Staff have even helped me figure out the total amount of sq. ft. of leather I needed for a project. I keep going back when I need leather or the parts that go with them. Very poor customer service. Very pricey and will not sell you anything unless you allow them to put your name and personal info into their system. No thank you! Go to Ebay and save a bunch instead!Oh, and one of the other reviews was written by one of the employees. Nice.

I get harassed by solicitors every time I go near this store. There is always someone out in front of the store begging for money. It is rediculous. Maybe just shop online so you dont have to deal with it.

This is the only place I buy deerskins. I had to have a black hide for a commissioned project, so I made the trip from Kerman, and had plenty to choose from.
