I got into an accident a week ago and my car was totalled. So I immediately started looking for a newer used car. I came across a reasonably priced Honda CRV at Acura Hunt Valley. I went up there Friday night and immediately was introduced to Dennis. He let me take it for a test drive and I loved it. I came back and we spoke about pricing. I told him what I was willing to pay and he said he would call me in the morning. He called me at 9:15 the next morning and said he had it worked out. I was a little skeptical from previous car buying experiences but headed right over. Dennis was great. Straightforward and kept his word on the pricing. I started out looking at several vehicles on the Acura website and immediately spoke with the online manager John Hightower he was so extremely helpful with what I was particularly looking for. I have been a faithful customer of Frankel Acura since 2011. Ive even purchased vehicles here. The quality of service has been declining over the past 2 years. Ive had consultants in the service department who did not seem knowledgeable. The last straw for me occurred on 7/20/21. I brought my car in for repairs to the AC. When I scheduled the appointment, I was told that my car would need to be kept for at least 2 days. I said that this was ok as long as I got a loaner car for the time. The person I spoke to said ok.. When I arrived for my appointment I was told that no loaner vehicles are given for diagnostic appointments. I live about 30 miles away! How was I supposed to get home? How would I do my everyday activities? Even though I had just saw someone drive away in a loaner vehicle, I was told that there were no more loaners. So I had to just take my car back home unfixed. I finally found someone else to fix my AC. I do not plan on coming back to Frankel Acura. Im not sure if I even want to ever buy another Acura at this point.
Dennis in used cars is fantastic - he gets 5 stars!! He takes the time to understand what you are looking for and finds it. He’s very personable and doesn’t make you feel rushed or pressured. It’s good, old school customer service at its best.

He was not pushy and was very patient while we where deciding on the suv we wanted.He also made sure to listen to what we wanted and didn’t hesitate to help us even though the dealership was closing he continued to help us with the purchase.

Really great people working here! Best part of my experience. However I did not purchase a car here. The pricing that they advertise on websites and other places is inaccurate (false advertising) and higher when you actually ask to see numbers out the door. While my initial counter offer to them for a vehicle was lower than that of the website offerings, the best they would do was match what they already had on their website. If youre OK paying their asking price, great! Otherwise, theres a lot of other places that will have better pricing. Dennis K was great to talk to and extremely knowledgeable on the vehicle that I test drove!

I didn’t purchase my vehicle from this location however I took it here for an oil change, listen it’s very hard to come across a professional crew these days, honestly I could not have been more happier with the awesome service I received. I contacted this business last week after informing them that my SRS light was on. After speaking with the receptionist I was told that I would need to speak with a gentleman named John. I asked John if the part was covered under warranty and he informed me that they wouldn’t be able to tell unless I came in for an appointment. I agreed since this seemed like a fair point and he put me back in touch with the receptionist to make an appointment. This is a safety concern so I made the next available appointment which happened to be today at 3 pm. I took off time from work and got there promptly at 3 pm. When I got there I spoke with an individual named Jonathan Frank who informed me that they can’t do a diagnostic after 3 pm. I can’t even begin to describe to you how frustrating this was. This was an error on their part if this is an actual policy and I was not only inconvenienced but told to come back later when it was more convenient for them. With customer service like this I’m truly surprised they got such great reviews and that they are still in business. I don’t know what other recourse I have but I’ll also write a letter to the Acura corporate office about the lack of professionalism this business offers. I will try my luck at another dealership and hopefully they offer better customer service then this place. My wife and I are at the point where we were ready to buy newer cars but it definitely won’t be here. Good luck to anyone having to deal with them in the future!
Ron made our car-buying experience very easy and stress free. We came in looking at the used cars and Ron was able to put us in a beautiful new Acura at a similar price. Ron helped us get top dollar for our old car and Henry was very helpful with financing. Altogether a great experience!

I had the best experience walking into the Acura dealership after spotting a beautiful Honda CR-V I loved on Autotrader. I emailed with Christos before stopping in. I worked with Dennis to test drive and start the initial paperwork. He was so sweet and willing to work with me while I called to get a new insurance policy and everything. Just bought a certified Acura from Laurel. My battery was faulty at 28,000 miles. Service member called me and told me I needed new front brakes, needed my rotors resurfaced, and my brake fluid changed....Went to Laurel concerned since I just bought the certified car two and a half months prior and they took me back showed me my brakes in my rotors all was fine. Its a shame they would try to upsell like that I mean really.

This is my first time purchasing from Acura Hunt Valley and it was such a great experience. I didnt feel any pressure to make a decision right away. The service department here is a joke. My wife bought a new MDX in September. There has been a knocking noise when she turns. She has taken it to the dealership 3 times. The 2nd time, the service department could not figure out the issue so they called the Acura corporate techs and were told just to grease it. Clearly that just masks the problem. Now the 3rd time, they are telling us that the noise is normal for an MDX?? Normal? She has driven 3 loaner MDXs from this place and none of them make a knocking sound. I am quite certain that no car should make a knocking sound when turning. What a joke!!!!

I found the experience at Hunt Valley Acura to be overly good. The sales representative failed to offer his card at the end of the sale. But found him to be overly accommodating in my needs.
Brought my 2020 MDX in for a CMBS light- Was told that if it was someone else worked on it or it was an accident it would not be covered.They ran some codes and told me that there was some dust on the Acura logo and it was being overworked. They charge $175 for the pleasure-Not only would I not recommend the service shopI will not be signing a new lease at the P1 auto groupMaybe if get extra lucky Jon will also yell at you how he would rather not have to deal with you and go pick his kid up form school

I started my new car search early last week on the internet. I saw a suv that I was interested in and emailed the dealership. I was immediately answered by Mr. John Hightower..had a very pleasant experience with him. He sent me emails of specs of all the listings I was interested in. And followed up with me until we found one that I thought might be the one. I stopped by the dealership to check out the suv I was interested in and was immediately greeted at the door and offered refreshments. Mr. Hightower then introduced me to my sales man, Mr. Steve Kleeman. If you are in the market for a new car anytime soon, Mr. Kleeman is your man. He worked with me all day and evening until we found the right suv and worked the numbers to make it possible. After the sale, (keep in mind its 9pm at this point, on a friday night, and the dealership closed at 8pm) he took the time to show me how to work all the features in my suv and made sure I felt comfortable driving it home. If I am ever in the market for another Acura, I would definitely return to Acura Hunt Valley and I would highly recommend anyone in the market to go there as well. Recently purchased a 2021 RDX with this dealership and had an awesome experience with salesman Tyler Thompson. After a brief online inquiry the evening before our purchase, we were contacted by the internet sales designee John who then again reached out to us the morning of our sale while we were en route to the dealership. He literally was waiting outside for us as we pulled into their parking lot and called us by name. He took us inside and introduced us to Tyler who was our assigned salesman. Tyler was wonderful. He was professional, knowledgable about the vehicle, cooperative in negotiations and just an overall pleasure to work with. I did take us about 4 hours to complete the sale (a bit longer than I think it could have taken which is the only reason I gave them a 4 star rating instead of 5) but that was the only negative I can mention. The customer service we received was worth the 80 miles we drove to get to their dealership. I would not hesitate to refer future customers to them.

We enjoyed our service for the most part. A few things...upon picking up our car we noticed a few scratches, scuffs and paint chips that weren’t noticed. So, I would say to inspect the buyers car with a buyer’s eye. I would also suggest making sure the buyer knows what form of payment is accepted for deposits. This caused us an extra 40 mile trip because it was not communicated to us. Lavoi was great and supportive, but Cedric seemed new and unsure of systems. The parts department were very friendly and helpful, but It did take some time to receive our order.Overall, a really good experience with just a few opportunities. Really enjoying my new car!

I had the absolute worse experience at this location over the weekend. Horrible communication with both the salesperson Tyler and the Sales Manager. I initially spoke with Tyler and set an Appt on Friday at 7:30. Drove in from Belair MD, showed up on time for my scheduled appointment and was told it was too late to do my deal because they close at 8. I was asked to submit the application online and they would process it the next day... The communication started off good that morning and then I heard nothing, I followed up and Tyler stated he would look into the status and never called back. I called back again to only find that they close early on Saturday’s. I called Monday and spoke with the sales manager and Tyler and they stated it was busy Saturday but they would work on my account today. It’s now 2 days later and I still have not received a call back from Tyler or the Manager about my deal! I guess they didn’t want or need my business!

I was able to leave my car for service during a 3 day period when I was out of town. I also use the night drop which is also very convenient. During my time away the Service Department communicated with me frequently. In addition, its always nice to have a clean car returned after service!

At other dealerships I was at they push you so much into trying to buy a car, here they dont. Rick wanted to make sure that I was happy with the car that I had picked out and to see that I was satisfied with everything. There was a small camera calibration issue with the car and they didnt hesitate to make sure it was fixed and to also make sure I was happy with how it was fixed.Thank you Acura for the good experience!
This was the second expensive scheduled service in a row. Luxury cars create expensive repairs. But the work is excellent; no complaints about a vehicle that has 100,000 plus miles without unscheduled costly repairs. Our service advisor, Matt, is leaving the dealership next week. We drive from southern Delaware to Hunt Valley for service, mostly because of his honesty and reliability. I hope we find the new advisor as helpful.
