Store was clean but looks to be having some sort of financial problems - barely the basics and a lot of empty coolers and shelves. The produce was in a cooler and contained a few bags of grapes and apples and a box of wrinkled peppers. The milk cooler appears to have no milk. Cashier was nice, manager not very personable.UPDATE: store closed shortly after this review.

It was ok. I really didnt see a price diff. In any thing it was more like a convenience store only on a big scale, and had all the bulk items, and not much ells. Fruit & veggies were a little pricy . I did get some egg noodles, and to tall candles for a project....

This Store Has Improved So Much!

I live in Cocoa Florida and the Save-A-Lot grocery store that we have in our neighborhood is terrible. They have no food on the shelves most of the sheriffs are there hardly anything in the store to be honest I dont even know how they can afford to pay their employees which is only about two or three how do they even pay the light bill the water bill the internet because nobody shops there theres nothing in there to shop for theres no produce not much meat hardly any canned goods and their excuse is every time you go in and ask whats going on they tell you theyre waiting on a truck I like to know where the hell that truck has to come from.

Less than enthusiastic when I walked inside. Withered fruit and vegetables and overpriced meats. Wont be doing back. They do have a friendly staff which earned them their second star.

The people are great then the store seems to be quite cleaned up but its also cleaned out. There was nothing to be bought hardly at Michelles nothing in the fresh meat section hardly the package meat was 100% empty frozen food was at 1% capacity so theres just nothing there and I asked thing I have counter why but they closing down this is no I dont think so but that didnt sound too reassuring

The shelves are so bare! There is hardly anything on Most of the shelves! It looks like the store may be needing more visitors to get the shelves stocked with More Items! Im worried!

Not the cleanest and i do not buy produce there. But the prices keep me going back. And there is always a long wait in line

I wanted to go in this store looking for a spice that I couldnt find in nearby stores but I couldnt even park my car in the lot. A really weird looking man in a beat up black car drove up to meet in the lot and proceeded to keep me from parking my car. He had his windows rolled down and appeared dangerous, so I had to leave. Please get security!

I must admit I hadnt been in the store like this since I was a child in the Bronx it reminded me of one of our local grocery stores No Frills whatsoever not a fancy thing about it then you got to buy your own bags which is cool because Im all for saving and helping the environment you cant do it by ourselves of these stores that do help I appreciate the prices are great the discounts are wonderful I carefully check my Meats items like that no matter where I buy them but its definitely a local neighborhood store that definitely helps because some of the other ones that are much prettier Im much more expensive

Employees were great. This is a discount grocery store. Pay attention to the packaging size and weight. Sometimes you arent really saving money because the package is smaller. They have a nice selection of beef. The butcher does a good job with the steaks and roasts in ground beef and stuff. I wouldnt by checking their it looks like it comes in Frozen

The prices are not cheaper. The shelves were empty. The vegetables were over ripe or not ripe at all. I shop a lot and know prices are not as drastic as this is. Save a lot is supposed to offer lower prices and selection. This place does not. I literally walked out because I was disappointed I used my very previous time to choose this place to begin with. I’m off to Walmart. At least the prices are fair there and not made up.

The store is like a ghost town, the shelfs are pretty much empty. And the price are a little higher than other sav-a-lots .Hope they can get their inventory back

Went to get a few items...they have a good sale on chicken legs .79 a pound and nice large lemons,also. The cashier was pleasant too

Your typical discount grocery store. You have to bring your own bags or purchase them there. You have to pay a quarter to use the shopping cart which is refundable when you return the cart. They have a variety of grocery items available at discount prices. Well worth going there

Very good prices. Though the store needs a GOOD CLEANING! It looks as if it hasnt been thoroughly cleaned since the 1980s! The floor needs to be replaced also. This store needs help. It is always low on food and not so clean. Only went in to get bread on Thanksgiving. At least they were open.

Its your typical discount grocery store. I go to buy my cottage cheese theyre the only place that carries it. Nice looking produce section. Small store but covers a wide assortment of products and prices are good.

Sorry it move out of Melbourne so I can only get to go now once a month. I am still looking for my favorite tea they still didnt get it in yet. They were out of the whole pineapple that was advertised but I got everything else I wanted.

No vegetables no produce, no frozen foods or vegetables. No stuff on shelves. No peach tea. I had to go to another store to get what I needed. Very sad.

Parking is sometimes tricky because people want to park anyway they werent. The prices inside are not cheaper than Walmart or Aldi. You may find a bargain or two. Sometimes its better to wait until they have a big sale. Their produce is pretty good.

Love the variety, and prices are really reasonable. Not very clean, floors need to be stripped and buffed, maybe even just mopped. They have alot of name brand items that are pretty cheap.

A lot of the produce was rotting or already rotten. Some of the meats were open and leaking all over other packages. On the good side the staff was friendly and the store for the most part was clean.

First time walking into the store and made to feel like Im a common criminal. Its OK, Ill spend my money somewhere else that doesnt think people are vermin.

First time in this store. And probably the last. The store is clean. Staff is friendly. The shelves are empty. Just sold out or not stocked. I dont know what to think...let alone say. Old mother hubbard cupboards were getting bare. In the case of this store ALOT was not available. Shelves in ailes some had plenty most had little to none. I would have gave only one star...but the prices of meat are fair. The detergents was fair. Frozen items prices are fair. And nothing to complain about. I purchased 6 Tyson chicken breasts for $4.50. And still had a week to sell by date. Nice price I believe. I saw 2lbs of hamburger meat that was gonna be cut in price the next day. Several packages. If you go in to this store just be aware its not a well stocked store. Im sure that it was a bad time or something like that. Truck had not been there. But I asked a customer who said she had been a regular customer. But she had started going to the big box store up the road due to the fact she was unable to get what she wants or needs at this store. All I can speak from is my observations and interactions with other shoppers. I love save a lot. I use to shop at them up north as a kid. Its a shame to see the problem with stocking of shelves here in a community that NEEDS businesses such as these. This was a great disappointment to start the day. But once again....the prices are fair. Most pretty good. The rest of this store...leaves alot to the imagination.
