Its getting close to October and that means time for monster cereal. Frankenberry is my favorite. Price chopper had all the flavors in stock. It was right in the front and ready to find. Price chopper has beenaroundforever and there was a bit of nostalgia walking through the store. All in all a very good experience.
It was nice and quiet when I went in today. I enjoyed shopping here today.
Not a real big store, but friendly staff and well stocked with good pricing. Nice neighborhood area.
I shop here for my parents when I’m in town . The staff is always nice and helpful . The manager always asks if I have found what I needed . This store would be a gold mine if they expanded and updated it !
Nice store and employees. I am from out of state and didnt know about the 10 cent bag rule. The checker was helpful and gave us our bags for free and recommended that we get the card number for the bags from a relative for the next time we come. My only problem is that she was slow, chatty and nice but slow. My other family members went to the Walgreens next store and were done way before us and they left mid checkout to go.
Lots a great choices check out was fast . better off going late when its not busy.
Its convenient because its open till midnight and theres always fresh food and u cant go wrong with the bakery section
Cute small grocery where it is easy to pick up the essentials.
Just now, I want to buy 2 products from “Price Chopper” Colchester, VT. Location:-1). Hand Sanitizer Alcohol Wipes2). Fresh Scent Disinfecting WipesCashier says; you cannot buy this 2 products because he’s said they are same products and option are just buy 1 product only either “Hand Sanitizer” or Fresh scent Disinfecting Wipes”.Again, I spoke with front line manager she was standing on other side of check out station. I asked her are they same products she said; Yes!! They are same products you cannot buy both 2 products you can buy 1 product only.I told her they are not same products. Let me explains and share my experiences/studies only basic knowledge “Science-chemistry” fields, how they are different between this 2 products1).Hand Sanitizer alcohol wipes:- use for skin purpose only. It has own chemicals compounds/composition. It’s consists of humidity balance chemical for skin body purpose only. It kills micro-organisms.It has very-very low skin damages(depends on ages).2).Fresh scent disinfecting wipes:- use for house cleaning purpose or anythings except skin body. It has own chemical compounds/composition. It’s Consists of high chemical compounds to kills micro-organisms. It’s has high risks for skin damages. So, please!!! Look yourself. Don’t try to compare your little sh*t narrow mind. Your talent, your knowledge, your education. This Earth is small but some people live in big-minded with in-born talented.“Before you speak to some person....”You all people who are front line cashier needs more training, study sciences, knowledges and education. Stop 🛑 wasting your dump-a** mind.Conclusion:-This products are same because it come in same category which means”Disinfectant Wipes”. But both 2 products(Hand sanitizer & fresh scent Disinfecting wipe) functions differently. Keep in mind!!!
Meh 😑 basic, tiny grocery store
No jambalaya mix, other things missing.
Wife needed prescription..and some shopping.
This store desperately needs updating. Poor selection of products, but convenient. The people who work here are great though!
Really nice, friendly and helpful staff.
This store is older an small. Alot of items were gone an shelves were pretty bare. The couple of associates I ran into were very nice and helpful. I wish they would renovate this location because it is so close to were I work and live and I go there all the time.
Has most everything youll need
It wa fine, friendly staff and safe with masks. Parking lot was a mess. Almost saw an accident without direction of one driver almost running into another.
Memorys
It is the BEST run supermarket that has been on this site in the last 30 years. It is small, but they have some of everything and keep the shelves stocked. Friendly staff, very good products.
The store manager Lenita is the rudest store manager I have ever had the misfortune of interacting with. Rude, angry. Treats her staff awful and her customers even worse. She is the sole reason Price Chopper has lost my business. I will never shop in a Price Chopper again as long as she is employed there.
Rich + Kim at Price Chopper #230 in Colchester VT saved the day for lots of hungry cheerleaders! They were about to shut down/leave for the day + when we asked for them to make 4 cheese pizzas, they happily obliged! We are so grateful that they went above + beyond for us! That is GREAT customer service! Thank you!
Nice job price chopper, I went to see if you had a nice slab of salmon for the grill or Id go further afield, but you had it and it was yummy.
I would appreciate sanitized shopping carts or at least wipes available at the door. ;(
Missing some items like garlic bread & real sugar (green label) Hersheys syrup. I cannot eat processed or HFCS sugar foods, they give me the green-apple splatters, on the far side of things.
I thought the reduced open store hours were only temporary? Its time to bring back staying open 24/7 I mean its summertime! I was going to head over to the Prim Road, Colchester, Vt. location to grab the last of what I need for lunches, drinks and snacks for our daddys birthday/fathers day/Lake Champlain LCI Fishing Derby extended weekend and I googled the store to make sure they were open and apparently they close from 10pm-7am. I scrolled down and saw mentionings of stores only closing from 1am-6am for cleaning & restocking so Prim Road is open 4 hours less than other Price Chopper/Market 32 stores! I sure hope they decided to go back to 24/7! Im a night owl and a 3rd shift worker so having them open all night and morning was such a huge help for me!
I’m at this store quite often, as I live right up the street, and I remember how bad it was when it was the P&C. I appreciate the store, and the good job done by its employees. It’s a small store, but I’m usually able to find some of the sort of obscure ingredients we use in our cooking. Nutritional yeast, sambal olek, rice vinegar, tahini, sesame oil and the like are available here, and maybe wouldn’t be in other similarly sized suburban stores. I see some of the other reviewers commenting negatively about the produce section and I strongly disagree. I’m a 30 year vegetarian, and we get a lot of our weekly intake from this produce section. So much better than the Hanaford across the river. The lady who has had this part of the store as her responsibility for the last several years is helpful, and keeps everything neat, and well presented. The employees are terrific, especially the “lifers”. I’ve never had a bad experience with a single employee, and I’ve been in hundreds of times. This is a well run business, and a store that I feel fortunate to have nearby. Oh, and Genevieve...
I only come to this grocery store because its near my house. ALWAYS check the expiration date on what you buy, I cant tell you how many times Ive accidentally bought expired food. The produce is also usually bad (mold, rot) I grabbed a bag of carrots recently and when I got home noticed they were partially liquified.
Not super clean and not super fast, no self checkout. Staff is nice but the store shows its age.
You Guys Seriously Need To Check Your Fruit!! This Is The 3RD Time I’ve Got Raspberries From you Guys And Have A Bunch Or Them With Mold On Them!! This Is Ridiculous!! That And Your Customer Service Seriously Needs Some Help!!I Really Hope You Guys Figure This Out Before Someone Sues You Guys!!
Good store
Selection of products wasnt bad but their seafood department has some kind of rotting smell that seemed to permeate the entire back half of the store. Dont normally shop here but was in the area and needed some groceries. Only one register was open which was an inconvience. Will be taking the extra drive to Hannaford from now on. Very disappointed.
I most generally shop here. Always have good fried chicken. Yummy. And the people r real friendly & helpful
We live close by and use this as our quick stop in, but do our main grocery shopping elsewhere-they dont have a wide variety (completely the opposite of the price chopper in Essex Junction), and their produce quality is really spotty. But a VERY convenient location. I always hope that they will take the time to spruce this PC up and add more variety/quality to their selection.
Visited this location this past week. The store manager was awful. She spoke to staff in what I thought was an unprofessional manner during a busy time. They were doing their best but I honesty wonder how any of them can tolerate being treated that way. Will probably shop elsewhere after seeing this.
SEVERAL choices of foods and drink, to include fresh flowers and household needs
Good for the most part
Produce really lacks quality. Employees wear t-shirts saying Produce Proud. They must not shop there. Employees are very nice! This location is very convenient to me but after many disappointments with the poor quality of the produce, I will no longer trade with them.
Love this store as its convenient to get to from my house, but it needs more selection of foods. They only carry the basics. Cashiers are always super nice and friendly.
Too big and aisle signs are unreadable. I like their products and the fact that the air is breathable. So not 5 stars
Price choppers pretty clean but not the cleanest ive been in big varieties and they do a lot of bogos buy one get one free, so if you really pay attention you can save a lot of money while the other problem is a lot of shoppers love to Gab in the aisles and block the aisles with their carts, its very inconsiderate and its such a big store I dont know why they do it but prices are reasonable and its pretty good
They NEVER have any of the same items the other Price Choppers carry. Customer service from the cashiers are a joke. I would rather drive 10 more miles and go to another Price Chopper!
I noticed prices are getting higher and higher, thats a drawback. I may have to look at other places to do my grocery shopping. Plus theyre screwing people on doubling coupons oh, not a nice thing to do when some of us actually look forward 2 going to Price chopper.pretty much all I can say is there going to be just like the other grocery stores which are trying to screw people. May not be going there that much longer as they will be just like the other stores so I might just as well shop at the other stores. But coupons were my greatest interest and I actually enjoyed going to Price chopper but it looks like I may not be doing that much longer. If youre doubling a coupon you double the coupon, God knows they make enough money in order to do so and people actually enjoy doing things like that. Its too bad but hannafords or Shaws here I come.
Dirty store, actually glad I was buying only canned and bottled items. Service was nice
Most of the time has fresh produce stuff Mosley easy to find
Nice small supermarket. Clean, convenient, well stocked. Only inconvenience: need to go thru warehouse and up stairs to use restroom.
Price Chopper is a great place to shop they have what you need people are courteous and will help you if you need it
THE STORE MANGER WAS YELLING AT MY MOM BECAUSE SHE ASKED HER A QUESTION ABOUT A PRODUCT THAT WAS OUTDATED. QUOTE: DONT LIKE IT GET OUT. OH LORD.
Its convenient for my neighborhood. Meat, dairy, bakery and regular groceries are fine. Produce is unreliable. Sometimes ok, but other times wilted or moldy on the shelf. Customer service is excellent.
Great prices!
Its where i used to shop great store great selections great prices
This is a sad Price Chopper! Its one of the few remaining in this chain that time forgot and I felt like I was stepping back in time to 1992 for this shopping excursion. The only one worse than this is located in Lake George Village in NY.While visiting Burlington, we came in here to grab a snack and some bottled water. Inventory is much more limited here compared to a lot of the mega Price Chopper grocery stores. We checked out fairly quickly, but the cashier seemed distracted and was mumbling under his breath. The store in in desperate need of a refresh! If you are looking for something better, there is a huge Hannaford located not too far from here.
My local place they pretty much have everything I need
I work late hours and sometimes have to pick up a few things after work. I like the fact that theres a 24 hour store right next to me. Even better that I can get half a cart of groceries and only pay like 30 bucks.
Its Price Chopper...its a small one, but they do a good job...
Very clean, fresh fruits and vegetables and fresh cut meats! Love it!
Does a great job for a small store of covering all the bases, and I appreciate not having to take an expedition through a cavernous warehouse!
The store is extremely small and outdated. The overall inventory is a big shortfall, however, the staff at friendly personable and will assist in ways true customer service should be provided
Poor! Store is in desparate need of upgrading . Cash registers need to reflect the correct sale prices and regular stock.
Personable staff, up to date product selection, deals all the time! 24 hours is great too.
Old store to da run down a bit but decent neighborhood grocer
Always a blessing
Open 24hours good selection of staple foods. Wine, lots of craft beers.
Can usually find what I need. Perfect small local grocery store.
Good prices ..good products
One of the smaller chain stores so inventory is quite Limited. It could use a good facelift.
I am in the unhappy position of shopping here often. I am in the equally unhappy position of purchasing their premade salads at least twice a week. Without exception these salads have rusty lettuce and limp ingredients. They are uninspired and consist of the very worst of the edible produce. Shame on you, Price Chopper. Colchester deserves better.
Small, but decent and well kept. Convenient location for locals.
Best grocery store in this local area. Good selection and prices.
Very helpful, friendly staff and a great selection of products at competitive prices.
Great store. Wish they had a full service bakery, and seafood.
The store manager was yelling at employees in front of customers in the isles. It was very off-putting and has made me choose to shop somewhere else.
Standard mid size super market. Lacks selection of fresh produce and breads.
Open 24 hours, good for basic needs.
Customer service sucks and price chopping doesnt happen here
My one stop grocery stop! They have everything that you can find anywhere else, at great prices.
The cashier was extremely friendly and kind!
Small but has alot of what you need
Great service
Convenient location for your basic essentials. Fruits & veggies not that fresh.
This store is beyond horrible, no scale in their produce dept? 1 time out of 2 the cashier over charges you. Have decided to shop elsewhere like most of my friends.
Great employees, especially Kim.
Great prices and rewards loyalty!
The only place i found with Gennessee Cream Ale!@!@!
For a 24/7 store, it is a daily stop after work (late shift). Selection is limited to size of store.
When you need that can of soup at 3:30 am.
Love the deal!
Every time I like a certain product and buy it on a regular basis, they discontinue it or stop stocking it. So frustrating !!
This place has gone down hill. I wont buy anything that has been packaged by them.
Small selection at this store and prices are higher on most things than the competition
That store is old! Has a limited variety of items.
Basic grocery store. Nothing special.
Produce section is not great. The rest of the store is okay.
Great since renovations
Little expensive. But hay its the Bay lol
Good place to shop
Store is cramped and poorly lit. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Prices are high on some items.
Nothing outstanding one way or the other.
1 tomatoes was over priced 7.58 thanks God I found the mistake
Love shopping there
