They took the time and attention to detail to wonderfully restore my antique childs chair. The chair survived a house fire, as you can see by the difference in color on the arms, so, per my request, they preserved the story as well as the piece. Would definitely recommend them!

After looking at many reviews we decided to choose Adams due to his length of time in the furniture refurbishing and repair business. To say this was the worst experience, would be kind. After being told the repair to my Great-grandmothers china cabinet would cost $850-$1400 they decreased it to $750. It was given to us in awful condition. There were many different woods and finishes and they painted it one color, one tortoise shell handle was broken and they were put on incorrectly. Kent said he would fix it, and the original color has been restored, but they would not finish the inside of the cabinet without at least a $200 additional fee. ALTHOUGH, the original estimate said refurbish ENTIRE piece. This was the most stressful and most expensive mistake we have ever made. Do not use this place.----After reading the owners response, please read all reviews below. Others have had the same experience with inaccurate estimates.

I highly recommend Adams Furniture Repair in Colorado Springs. What a wonderful job they did on my china cabinet. There were four glass panels in front, and only the two in the center were doors. I told Kent I wanted to make the other two panels into doors, and then wanted to replace the glass shelves with wood. I could not believe the beautiful job they did. When Jon delivered the china cabinet, he took an end table that I needed repaired. I had not noticed that I had a leaky roof, and the end table was directly under the leak. By the time I noticed it, the top was ruined. Jon just delivered it back to me and I was stunned. There was no trace of the damage, and the stain that was used had to be mixed and matched. Jon told me he worked on the table, and I have to say that he has a great eye for color!Thank you, Adams Furniture Repair!

Kent and his team restored an antique roll top desk from the 1900s that had been in my family since 1945. They did a great job and were very prompt to get back to me if I had a question. Kent even came out and did some fixing to make the desk just right.

John Grinnell did a great job repairing an old side table. I brought the table in because one of the legs had broken off. John repaired that leg but also noticed that another one was cracked and he fixed that one as well. He also sanded out some scratches on the top. It was evident that he takes pride in the completed project and Im very happy with the work. He was also very quick, turnaround time was 2 days!

Adams is truly top notch. The quality of work is everything I asked for and beyond. My antique stool was repaired to last way beyond my lifetime and is now a family heirloom. It is exactly the colors and crackling style I requested. I love it!

These guys were great. Got the leg back on my couch in no time and three times came to try and stitch the fabric up on a tear after a move. Reasonable, and work great with military claims!

I had taken my antique marble top washstand in for repairs caused by my last move. Dennis said much of the original based glue had dried out—it lasted for 50-100 years!! He was able to reglue all the necessary pieces with the same type of animal based glue. My washstand looks beautiful again! I am so pleased with Dennis’s work!!

I wish I could say I had a great experience. I called their office to be told via a voice message to text a certain number. When I did, I was given another number to call to speak with a John Grinnell. I did that and would get disconnected each time. I then texted again to let them know of my troubles and I was given another number for John, which was supposedly his cell. I called it twice and both it would ring then go busy. Im that they do a great job if you could call them.

I got a bid from Kent Adams to repair a bookcase for $185 + $65 each way (pick-up & delivery). This as a damage repair due to a Comcast technician breaking the case. When I asked for a better breakdown of charges to submit to Comcast for reimbursement of the repair charges, his charges jumped from $185 to $285 for repairs and... from $65 to $85 delivery charges each way. When I inquired about the increase, I was told that there was more work involved than they first thought and they needed to rent a bigger truck. Unreal! I didnt trust his integrity and then took the bookcase to a different repair person... in the trunk of my Honda Accord.
