Stanley Los also is a landlord in Colorado Springs as a side business. I cant find anywhere that I can review him as a landlord, so I am doing that here, under his personal company. If you want a landlord that doesnt talk to you or contact you, Stanley is your man. However, if you want anything done in the home youre renting from him, expect him to take weeks to months to get the task done. There was an unsafe and very large tree in our back yard that was rotting and leaning over our bedroom. Stanley Los had the tree cut down (after we bothered him several times), but took several months to remove the cut up wood from our yard, and it looked terrible. We removed a lot of it ourselves because we were sick of looking at it.The thing that upset me the most was that he nickeled and dimed us for our security deposit. When we moved into the rental, there were no blinds in any of the windows, so we took it upon ourselves to purchase and install blinds so people wouldnt see everything we were doing through the windows. When moving out, we were charged $30 for blind replacement since our cat attacked two of the blinds we installed, ruining a couple of the panels. When we addressed this with Stanley, telling him that we installed the blinds in the first place, he told us that he never rents places without blinds...Stanley charged us $30 for oven cleaning, $20 for stove cleaning, $20 for refrigerator cleaning, $20 for cabinet and counter top cleaning, $35 for tub, shower and toilet cleaning. Also charged us $180 for painting the walls and trims (this house was no more than 600 square feet and there was no way it cost that much for paint), also charged $126 for general detailing and cleaning. We were also charged $30 for grass cutting, and $45 for dog poop removal from the yard. Please note I cleaned the entire house before I moved out including the counters, stove, fridge, bathtub, and toilet, and we also mowed the lawn. However, it had been raining a lot at that time and the grass probably grew back by the time that he returned to the house to clean.I have gotten my security deposits back almost in full on the 3 other places Ive rented. I couldnt believe we were nickeled and dimed so extensively for such little things on this tiny house that definitely didnt need $536 worth of repairs. Very upsetting and unprofessional.
