Patrick is awesome! And he knows what he is doing!! He is very nice too! I saw some bad reviews about him, but I can promise that they are most likely Karens that dont know how to listen. I had no issues, and I will definitely return in the future for more piercings from him. Thank you Patrick!

I have gotten numerous tattoos from this shop. Devin is by far one of the best tattoo artists I have had the pleasure of getting tattooed by. He has tattooed well over 30 of my friends as well. Not one of them being disappointed in the outcome. Many have gone back for more tattoos since meeting him. Patrick is a class act. Best tattoo and piercing shop in Colorado Springs. They are reasonably priced and professional about all work they do. Their piercer is the only person I trust with my needs. He provides quality guidance for healing and is always helpful when I need to switch out jewelry. All his piercing have healed with no issues unlike the other shops in COS. Would recommend to anyone and all my friends. I will definitely be returning.

Would have saved myself a ton of pain, time and money.One tat was a cover up of a memorial tat I had done after my dad passed. I thought it was pretty much beyond repair or even a cover up and he covered it so well and its so beautiful that I cant wait to show it off any chance I get. The other was a tiny cover up that I also wanted a lot more added to. Again he completely blew me away with how beautiful it is and how amazing he is to work with. Patrick was very professional. I wanted a piercing while visiting my son. He took his time and explained to me every question I asked. It took a hot sec and it was over. I sat for a few minutes because I got light-headed but he told me to take my time. I loved that about him. Going back in the morning for another piercing. Awesome clean shop and very courteous!

I dont remember the last time I was motivated to leave a review anywhere, buy I got my tongue split a month ago or so with Rod and oh my god the results couldnt have been any better. My expectations were far exceeded and I wish I found his shop sooner. Staff was beautiful and extremely helpful, everybody had such colourful personalities, the pricing was cheap and the procedure as well as the healing process was lightning quick.

The piercer Patrick here is absolutely rude. Doesn’t make you feel welcome or comfortable at all. Has the rudest tone in his voice. Even on the phone he was very short and rude. Although he knows how to pierce, he doesn’t make the experience good at all. Told me to come in for an appointment and then tells me there’s no slots and takes people in before me. The day I came in for the piercing he came off so forceful I don’t recommend this place if you want good customer service.And yes, I did have an “appointment”. You told me to come in at 3 ;)

Got a septum done today with Patrick. It was very quick and didn’t hurt. Patrick’s tone of voice can come off as snappy but he knew what he was doing. My only issue was when I called Monday I was told $50 (not Patrick on the call) and then today was told they charge $60. Patrick said the person at the studio unfortunately told me the wrong price.

I was in an unfamiliar area and had a ball come out on an existing piece of jewelry. I looked up some local shops and found this one. I read a couple reviews and they seemed okay, so I gave them a call and they were able to help me. I went in and it was a very clean environment and someone asked me how they could help right away. While all of this was very nice, the unprofessionalism of their piercer, Patrick, outweighed the good aspects of the shop. He was rude from the get go, and threw away my jewelry even though I repeatedly requested to take it with me as it held significant sentimental value. He called my jewelry cheap (after saying he could get a ring for $0.33), and my piercer of 6 years a con artist. He did have some good points about cleaning jewelry regularly and changing it every 3 months to stay sanitary, but I would not recommend this shop to a close friend. I am grateful for the help he did provide though.

Went in with questions about a piece I want done and was treated with respect and not talked down to. Other shops artists have spoken to me as though they know better about the art I want done. (I think because their ideas would have been easier for them than closer to my vision of what I want)Will be going back in as soon as possible. (Im from out of town)Appreciate the respect I received from a conversation they probably get too often of people seemingly just spinning their wheels.

Aweful place of buisness Patrick is very rude and offputting

I did not receive any service from them so this review is not about the service i received. This review is pertaining to the custom service I received. The male individual who picked up my call was extremely dismissive and unwilling to listen to my concern about a simple question. I was just trying confirm that they had the tongue jewlery that I needed and he was extremely unprofessional. So much so that I did not even want to spend my money with them.

I went to this shop for the first time for my birthday, hadnt heard of them previously. I spoke to Andy on the phone, he was super friendly and told me I could come in whenever, that they would be closing around the time I wanted to come in but would wait for me which I thought was really cool. Andy pierced my nose and he was awesome! Fun to talk to, the piercing was quick and easy. I would recommend going here to anyone! Thanks guys!

I came in about four days ago to get my nips pierced. The shop was super clean very professional and very attentive. I was really scared about getting them done but Patrick was great with calming me down and getting it done super quick. I am a lil nervous that the jewelry is a lil small but I’ll call and find out. Other then that I’m super pleased and will be going here Anytime I want Piercings or tattoos thank you Guys.

At 1st I wasnt thrilled because I didnt get that welcomed approach. The owner did my daughters naval piercing & was super delicate & professional. He answered all my questions even 2 weeks after. He said only use antibacterial soap, wash twice daily. She has done just that & has yet to get any Marks, redness pain etc.. very very little crust. Shes a gymnast & was in gym following week. She listens to her body. Shes Super happy.Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!

I came in today looking to get a piercing with my mom and was denied immediately because i am a minor. the piercer for my mom was very rude to me because i was asking questions about the piercing i wanted and was told “this is why i dont do piercings on minors”

Great experience!!!! Refuse to go somewhere that only charges $10 for a piercing just because I believe you get what you pay for!! I had my belly button pierced 2 weeks ago and it looks great and healing amazing!! The guy who did my piecing knew what he was doing and Did such a great job making sure it was perfectly aligned and it honestly didn’t hurt one bit.!! Definitely recommend them to people who appreciate quality !!

I called to get my nose pierced and I needed an earlier time. Andy was helpful and said he could squeeze me in earlier. I’ve had my nostril done once and I had to get it redone after my jewelry fell out years ago. I decided to get it redone today and it was painless. He is quick and precise and helped me decide where to place it as my previous one was waaaay far back. Highly recommend him!

Just from a phone call the staff seemed very rude. Wouldnt answer any of my questions and kept saying I needed to come in for a consolation. When asked what would be discussed during the consultation they just said I needed to come in. None of my questions were answered over the phone and the person I was speaking with was getting very short with me for just asking questions. I didnt go in for the consultation solely on the fact that the person was rude and if they couldnt answer questions over the phone, they probably would never answer them in person.

I went recently to hot rod tattoo shop and had an amazing experience every one is very professional the shop and equipment is very clean. I got pierced by Andy and i highly recommend you asking for him when you go, very fast, very professional and he made my piercing experience very comfortable for me. Thank you guys i will be back!

The guy that pierced me was very knowledgeable and patient, I came in super scared for my piercings and I actually almost passed out after I got them and he ran to the back and got me a drink with natural sugars that brought me back to life!! 10/10 would recommend this place!

I went in for a couple of lip piercings and the staff were very friendly and understanding since I was having a rough day and have Tourette’s syndrome. Patrick was my piercer and he respected me when I needed a bit of space when it got hard to control my tics during the piercing and even gave me some good advice about it. During the piercings I had all of my questions answered and got more information. Patrick explained what he was going to do throughout the entire process, which helped my anxiety about it calm considerably. Thank you for having such an understanding and helpful staff.

The guys here were great, very friendly and very kind. I blacked out after my piercing and they treated me so kindly and didnt make me feel embarrassed about it and they treated me with such kindness and professionalism it was a great experience. I also saw a huge focus on cleanliness and sanitation that it really put me at ease. I highly recommend this place.

Patrick was amazing and very knowledgeable. I was worried about scarred tissue since it was my fourth time piercing my tongue but he reassured me that it would be ok. He made me very comfortable and did an awesome job. He also helped my friend out with a piercing that she had done somewhere else and it wasn’t healing because the other piercer didn’t know what the hell he was doing. I went to other shops to get my tongue re-done and ALL the other shops told me no my tongue was too little,I came in and they really did it perfect and didnt turn me away...amazing! The biggest reason they are my favorite is they did a tattoo for me that my mom drew before she died. She was never able to give it to me before she past. I came in with the picture and now I have her art on me. They will forever be my go to. They are clean and professional with a great sense of humor. My mom was a tattoo artist and couldnt have picked better guys to work on her little girls. Recently got my septum piercing done at a different tattoo and piercing place, they didn’t put my balls on my ring properly and I lost one. Went to see Andy at this place and he replaced my ball free of charge. Will definitely be seeing him in the future for more piercings and to get my tattoo touched up.

I was recommended by a close friend that had got work done by Devin. Needed a new tattoo guy since mine relocated and I loved what he did on her arm. He was very fast but detailed in my tattoo. Reasonable price and friendly. I will definitely be returning to get more work done from Devin.

When it comes to Hot Rod tattoos, I cant think of anything bad to say. The atmosphere, the art work, the people there are all great. Devin Sherman has done all of my tattoos except one, the first one I ever got from another Colorado springs shop, which I plan on getting covered up by Devin. I have spent a lot of time in this shop whether Im getting tattoos or my wife or friends are. I consider Devin a friend, and he is a great tattoo artist, as well as the other guys there. I live in North Carolina now and would rather fly to Colorado springs to get a tattoo by Devin than try to find an artist here. He has a vision that works every single time. His art work is second to none.

This place is awesome!! Not only did they get me in and out super quick but the daith piercings are amazing! After suffering from a migraine for a week straight and going to urgent care to get a pain relief shot and even that not working the relief I got from doing both sides of the daith is incomparable.
