A shining example of what every homebrew shop could/should be. I’m used to going to shops with limited stock and then ordering the rest online but was totally shocked when they not only had every ingredient I needed but in multiple brands and varieties. These guys are legit. I only wish I lived closer!

Ive used the Homebrew center for supplies when I didnt feel like going to my main supplier as this is much closer. On the great side, they have a ton of well priced supplies. If you are into beer and wine making, its likely you can find the hardware you need there for a good price. Also, the staff is friendly and very responsive to questions. If you are new to brewing, it appears they support training and storage for those who choose not to brew at home. This, however, might be the reason they have great supplies on hand. However, it might also be the reason (and this is just speculation) why the grain selection and specifically yeast selection do not have the variety other homebrew suppliers have. Twice now, I have gone there for yeast and have found only one brand available for beer. I like using Wyeast, Imperial, and White labs for different reasons and when they only carry White Labs, its disappointing. The grain selection, while fine for the beginner, does not appear to have the variety for subtle nuances the more advanced brewer wants. Dont get me wrong, the place is perfectly good for most needs and grains can be substituted... Id just like to see a better yeast and grain supply. Finally, during this covid pandemic, Id like to see the staff wearing masks inside the stores (and that actually is the reason for the 3 star and not a 4 star rating). Maybe it was just an inadvertent timing that some staff were not wearing masks, but lets be cautious here until this thing is over.

Lovely to find women running a store that specializes in wine! As a mead brewer, I usually go to home brew store s that are more beer focused and have sometimes been ignored by the all male staff. Love this place!

Everything you need to make your own beer, get creative with big selection of hops and grains and yeast . I really liked the hops from Yakima Washington.Friendly and informative staff combining with reasonable prices make this brewing supply a real winner. Get your brew on!

It could be great, but they were closed due to a COVID positive test on March 4. No updates to the website. Would have driven to another from where I was at that was just as close at the time had I known.

Years ago my wife and I learned to make wine from Brenda and Tim and bought all our kits and supplies from Fermentations. On-site classes and storage makes it easy for anyone to brew - even if you dont have space in your own home. Now Im making beer and Brenda and Tim have a great selection of kits, grains, hops, yeasts, supplies, and friendly advice. Ive never been disappointed and look forward to every visit to Fermentations.

My husband likes this store when he needs something quick for home brewing. The people are nice and they have adequate stock. BUT horrified to see that the cashier /clerk was not wearing a mask at all despite all the signs on their door saying masks are required by State order. I noticed her sitting behind the window as we pulled up, and as she continued to interact with three customers and then my husband. Not cool. I will encourage him to find an alternative store to visit until this is over, and feel sad to have to give a bad review :-(

When we were there I found a young lady who took us around to be informed and was able to get us to the products we needed when we asked her I was very happy with my visit and will be back again

Great place for learning and doing! Very knowledgeable staff that will help guide you in the right direction for your brew. They offer space that you can actively work on different brews that vary from wines, beer, or ciders. They sell kits and have a large variety of malted grain for your own recipes. Very competitive prices and large selection of brewing equipment. Their in shop self-brewing stations are available by reservation. Give them a try even if you are curious about brewing your own batch.

What a great experience! Tim and Brenda are fabulous! I received a gift card for opportunity to brew my beer. I chose the American Cream Ale for my first adventure in making beer. Tim is a fantastic guide through the process and clearly knows beer in detail. I appreciated his knowledge and my tour of the grain room. The whole process took just under three hours. Thats day one. In a week, I get to transfer my brew. And later this month, bottle my first batch. This is a wonderful gift! Did I forget to say that they also do wine? Give them a try if youre looking for a unique experience/gift.

Always have what I need. I usually get ready made beer recipe kits, but when they dont have one in stock, we simply build our own

Im a beginner Brewer. Ive been here a few times. Each time they are so helpful, dont make me feel bad when I have stupid questions, share their knowledge and advice, and have good stock and variety. I had ordered some things online before. Frankly, prices here were actually better or at least competitive. I recommend giving this place a try for any brewing needs!

Incredible place! We met with the owner and he gave us a tour, explained the different types of grains, yeasts and wine kits he had available. Very cool experience. We will definitely be going there for our brewing needs in the future.

Used to be primarily a home brew wine supply, but they have in the last year greatly increased their grain and beer home brewing ingredient stock. There hop and yeast supply is decent, but they do run out of some the popular strains fairly quickly. Service is friendly and helpful. Not pushy, but willing to walk you through their selection. The owner know his stuff, and is good at making recommendations. My go to for my home brewing needs.

I originally purchased a wine-making experience as a Christmas gift for my wife. The Chilean Chardonnay we made was outstanding! I have since done a team building event with my work team to build two wines; my wife is building another Chilean Chardonnay and I am building or have built 3 other batches of wine. It is so nice to have a shop with knowledgeable and friendly people nearby. They have helped me a lot with my home meadery, given me many great recommendations. Even cooler, if you want to learn how to make wine, they have classes you can sign up for with your friends! They take you all the way to bottling and will print custom labels for you!

Everyone we talked to was nice and extremely knowledgeable. They were all willing to help my husband pick out all our starting necessities but we didnt feel pushed into buying anything. Very reasonably priced and great location!

Ironically, I dont drink alcohol, but had a GREAT experience at this shop today. I needed bottle tops for soda bottles in order to convert some mini Coke bottles into salt and pepper shakers. The man at the shop saw I needed only 4 caps instead of the 144 sold in his store and helped me out by supplying those caps, some instruction, and an offer to seal them with his crimper by simply stopping by again (instead of suggesting I buy one). He was BEYOND helpful, and the experience was fantastic. What a great shop, helpful service, and that friendly, personal touch that so many stores today are lacking!

They offer classes and equipment for you to use on site so you can get a taste before jumping in the deep end.

This is my local shop for all my brewing needs. Their prices are highly competitive, even compared to the internet. The staff is very helpful, and will answer your questions in detail.I even called after hours one time, and they were willing to reopen the store, just so I could make a small, quick, purchase.They have my loyalty!

This is a great place to help you learn how to make your own wine. We have been buying our kits and related supplies from Fermentations for over two years now because they are always over the top helpful and very knowledgable. Since we live in Montana, their help is frequently given over the phone, but is always spot on! Their kit recommendations are always spot on too, and considering the way friends and relatives request our wines, this is a good relationship!

Just popped in after moving to down, and I was very impressed with both the inventory and friendliness of the staff. They carry a lot of kits and do a lot of classes for folks just getting started, but had a lot to offer for those with more experience as well. I’m looking forward to coming back!

Im currently working on wines number 9, 10 and 11. Obviously I am very happy with both the service at Fermentations and the results of my labor. My husband, previously a non-drinker, now enjoys his daily glass of wine. Weve made classic wines and fruity fun. Everything has exceeded our expectations. I look forward to my bi-weekly time-out with T and B in the shop.

I contacted them via email about what ingredients they had ( I sent a list of what I needed as well). They responded within 4 hours and had everything I needed. They then emailed me back the next day saying they needed to know how much of everything I needed so they could prep the order and have it ready for me when I came in!!! wowzers.. great service! So far so good. I LOVE that we have a place to get supplies up north in the springs finally.The ONLY thing I wish they had was a list of their ingredients and products on their site... but it will come around I am sure!
